That is the question that Avril is pondering right now. She knows that the person behind her is following her, she had taken some weird paths to see if she could lose them, but no can do ; they're still a few meters away from her. 

Avril is a little scared, but the other part of her is saying to just turn around and get the anger and frustration of the day out on the creep, a good occasion to go all out. But she doesn't want to lose the bit of sanity that remains in her tiny brain, so this weird option will have to wait another day.

Now that she made a choice, she will have to trust her poor running abilities to take her to the house in one piece.

She waits until she reaches a corner to take off, running as fast as she could. The person following her must have heard her footsteps starting to tack up their paces because Avril hears them start sprinting too. The realization of being chased sends adrenaline through her body, running even faster now that she ever did in her entire life. Her breath comes in short pants, but she doesn't slow down. For a brief moment, Avril looks behind her to see the person racing like a madman.

"OH MY GOD STOP FOLLOWING ME !!!!" Avril screams at the person, though she can't really see the face of the person, but she can tell that they are gasping for air too.

"I just want to help!" The creepy runner says back very faintly, but loud enough for Avril to hear. The person has a feminine voice, avril notes, but she won't stop just because of that.

"I DON'T NEED HELP GETTING MURDERED !"

"I'M NOT GONNA MURDER YOU, YOU IDIO-" A big "OOF" is heard accompanying the sound of someone falling on concrete. Avril look behind her again and laughs when she sees the mystery person spread out on the still slippery pavement.

"HAHAHA LOSER !" She calls behind her, not slowing down to check on the person, just keeps running to her apartment.

Because she took weird paths to not lead the person where she lives, she has to keep running 2 more minutes before she finally sees the door of the lobby. It's an old building where students like her stays to attend school easier. Normally, she would need a badge to enter, but the door is broken, and anyone can enter into the lobby, so she looks behind her to see no one has followed her to here.

She enters and puts her hands on her knees, breathing hard after this wonderful chase.

Wow, i didn't know i could run this fast, she thinks as she regains air in her lungs, before trudging up the stairs to the 3rd floor, where she lives.

She unlocks the door with her keys and walk inside, locking again behind her.

She put the keys on the nightstand to the left of the door, and jump on the couch, letting her body sink into it.

What a strange start to welcome the weekend with, she thinks as she finally relaxes.
