Once upon a time, I met you,

Back then, I was always sad,

But then again, back then, who knew,

You'd make me feel so glad.

You lit my days in color,

You gave me truer sight,

you cared like no other,

you showed me true delight.

On odd days, I wonder,

Because of you and me,

The lightning to my thunder

Where will this all lead?

This poem is a story that is ever important, the one of adventuring into the unknown and someone picking you up when you fall down, whether it is a best friend and companion, or your love. Life is often unpredictable leaving you wondering about the what-ifs and whens and such, but this is the story of that one person who you know you can go through it all with cause it's all ok if it's with them.
