Something suspicious has been going around lately and Bakey just can't figure out why. Then Bakey told Olivia, "I don't understand this, every night pastries go missing!" The frustration made Bakey's brain hurt and he decided to stop thinking about so much. But, Olivia has always been curious about what was happening, so later that night Olivia and Abby decided to take a look around. They couldn't find anything but, Olivia sensed that something was watching them. "Hey, Abby do you think someone is watching us?" Olivia asked, "No, I don't think so but this is a waste of time, let's get out of here." Abby replied and so, they both went back to sleep.

The next morning, 5 more pastries went missing! Emily started to yell, "RUN FOR YOUR LIV-" But, Bakey had stopped her. A strange van pulled up the lot and 3 men in gray pants and shirts stepped out and came in the bakery. One of the Bakers exclaimed, "About time! Now hurry, I think we have some RAT THIEVES!!" The word repeated in Bake's mind several times and then, he finally got it! Rats has been going around  at night taking pastries away! 

Bakey has to tell everyone, "Everybody! Gather around!" Everyone had heard about the missing pastries but they have no idea why, until now. "I've just heard that there are RATS here! And they are the reason why pastries has gone missing! We need to stay close together especially at night! 'Till then me and my friends will try and get rid of them!" The crowd gasped, and everyone did as Bakey has told them.

The rat king was making his own speech to give, "Alrigth everyone, the people and pastries has found out about us but not where we live so we gotta be careful around here. That also means we have to have a new rule, for now on we can only go out twice a night not five, got it?" All the rats groaned and one small rat squeaked, "What if we run out of room for the rats and the pastries we stole?" The king answered, "Don't worry our rat diggers will dig us some more space."

The men who were rodent removals, they couldn't find a thing. One of the bakers stuttered, "B-but we need y-your service! Please!" The tallest guy told them, "Sorry folks, can't find a thing here." Then left.
