Cause And Effect

Crushing my soul, it's out of control

Abusing my sanity, they do so with vanity

unraveling my heart, but its only the start

strangling my breath, they steal what is left

enacting their toll, this toll on my soul.

affecting my might, god caring not for my plight

numbing my mind, leave all care behind,

descending below, in hidden depths I do stow

erasing my presence from mind, quickly the world all fell blind.

finding not here my soul, all search soon came annul.

finally though you saw, and breaking completely lifes law.

excepting my secrets you asked, then listened right till the last.

Calling my name you entreat me, staying beside you complete me

Teaching me the truth of this strife, no one but me governs my life!

Cause and effect is a strong concept is it not? this poem is for the people who are waiting for their effect to come from their cause because sometimes the worst things are just a storm before the beautiful rainbow that makes it all so worth it! sometimes the world tears us down so we can be built back up in more magnificent stature because of what we left behind!
