Yet the beast knew that Kein would applaud towards this and that killing those two would only make her curse even worse. The curse she has been stuck with since birth.
‘The White Rose Blooded Beast’
Long ago, when Kein’s mother was still alive and young she had given birth to two kids before she met Kein’s father and had Kein. A son and a daughter. The boy’s name was Dyclen (Dey-Clen) while the girl’s name was Diana (Di-an-a). The two were always thrown around by jealousy of what the other had. Diana always wanted to prove that she was the better heir to the throne than her brother Dyclen, who was more suitable for a ruler. Dyclen wouldn’t dare fight over the heir to the throne but he would fight with jealousy about Diana and her friends. They always seemed as if they were having the most amazing time of their lives, leaving Dyclen all by himself. One day Dyclen had had enough of Diana’s tricks of jealousy. He stormed out of the castle and went to see the kingdom’s witch. Madam Soul. She was grateful to hear that Dyclen had come to pay her a visit but she was also shocked about what he had told her. Dyclen, once he told the witch his request, had set out to find his sister and mother. Queen Snilia (S-nil-a), Dyclen and Diana’s mother was out in the garden, gently caressing her swollen belly. Pregnant with a baby girl, Snilia chose to take a break from castle orders. Dyclen watched his mother from afar before Diana came and pushed him. He tumbled down the hill of the garden and crashed into his mother, causing her to fall onto her stomach. She screamed in pain as she clutched her stomach. Diana rushed over and tried to reason with Dyclen but Dyclen was beyond furious. Snilia screams turned into a mighty roar as Diana’s face paled. Dyclen turned around and saw his once beautiful mother, shift into a dragon. Blinded by rage and the sadness of losing her baby, Snilia ate her two kids. Feasting on their corpse she came back to her senses and shifted back to her human form. The people, guards, and maids were all screaming and watching with disgust. Calling Snilia a monster for killing and eating her own kids.
Snilia was already too broken to even care what others had to say. She just kept her mouth closed and left the kingdom. Leaving the castle and its leader to shreds.
As time flew, Snilia grew and even though people hated shifters because of what Snilia did, she never stopped going outside showing what she can do. She snuck out towards shifter auctionings and bought each shifter just to set them free, she even gave them some money so they could start on a new leaf and live in peace. She even made a small secret town just for shifters only. Her kind acts towards her own kind caught the eye of King Blouss.
The two got married and Snilia eventually got pregnant. Yet throughout her pregnancy, Snilia became very sick and she began to cough up blood, but not your average type of red blood, instead she coughed up white blood. Snilia, not wanting to scare her husband, went to go and see the kingdom’s healer. Once she did, the healer told her that the child she was carrying was cursed by her past. The child, once they hit the age of twenty-two they will be overcomed by stress and shift into the ultimate white-rosed beast. A beast that hasn’t been seen in over thirty thousand years. The beast was a creature of destruction and everytime it rose, it destroyed everything, leaving nothing but flames, chaos, and the rotten stench of death. Yet when the reign of terror was done with its deed, it would go back into hiding leaving nothing but a patch of black roses splattered with white blood.
Snilia could only pray for her daughter, knowing that her daughter was going to be a shifter like her was one thing, but handling a curse of being something that could cause the end of a generation was another. Snilia knew that she had to protect her daughter, so to delay her daughter’s transformation, Snilia made a black and lilac rosemary shaped like a cross telling her husband to give it to Kein on the day of her coming-of-age ceremony. Snilia grew weaker by the minute and with the last bit of strength she had throughout her years, she gave birth to Kein, before passing away. Her body shifted into pink rose petals just like her eyes, and glided off into the sky. Leaving her child alone, leaving Kein alone, with a curse that could crumble the world in the palm of its hand.
Kein’s eyes shot open as she sat up gasping for air. She was on a soft soft bed, her body covered by a soft cotton blanket that was a sweet pink color. She swung her legs off the bed and noticed that her feet were wrapped up in bandages. She also came to notice that she was wearing an oversized nightgown that was blasted with ocean blue and minty green. Kien made soft movements onto the floor, the floor creaking as she placed both feet firmly onto the ground. Just as the floorboards creaked, the door that was preventing Kein from making a run for it, swung open. A short boy with fluffy brown hair and rainbow-like tips came into the room. His dark brown glasses complimented his peach skin as his freckles complimented his pink lips. Kein’s eyes tried to focus on the boy but they couldn't. They were mesmerized by the boy’s antlers, deer ears, and a fluffy deer tail.
“Y-You’re a deer…Well...Part of you is...”
The small deer boy yelped and dropped the tea he had brought for Kein. Just before the teacup could reach the ground, Kein swiftly caught it while some of the tea was still inside the cup. That’s when Kein noticed that the boy had deer legs as well. She stood up from the floor, clearly towering over the small boy. He shook nervously and he slowly raised his head upwards to look her in the eyes.
“H-Hi! Hello! Um...How are you?! Uh! Don’t hurt me! PleasedonthurtmeIcan’taffordtodiehereI’m-”
Kein stifled out a laugh as she smiled at the small boy.
“Calm down there buck boy, I’m not gonna hurt you. Thank you for saving me and all. I’m Kein or as royals like to address me, The Beast.”
The boy bowed his head as his ears twitched.
“Y-You’re Princess Kein?! Oh! W-Where are my manners?! I-Im Barnaby (Bar-na-be)!”
Kein clutched her chest and glanced away due to the amount of cuteness.
“Bar-na-by! Oo, that has a nice sound to it. Well you’re correct my little bucky boy, I’m Princess Kein. I hope I didn’t cause you too much trouble.”
Kein ruffled Barnaby’s hair, causing the small buck to look up at her with beautiful hazel and orange eyes. He pushed his glasses up his nose and smiled shyly.
“It was no biggie, and don’t worry, I let my sister dress you.”
Just as he said that a voice boomed throughout the place.
“BAR NA BY FOAL STOP TALKING TO YOUR GIRLFRIEND AND GET YOUR COTTON BEHIND DOWNSTAIRS FOR BREAKFAST!”
Kein didn’t even notice that the sun was shining until she took a glance out the window. She watched in awe the beautiful flowery garden that surrounded Barnaby’s house.
“I-I-I-Ignore my sister! S-S-She’s being s-s-silly! A-Anyways! Come and join us for b-breakfast!”
Kein just couldn’t resist saying no to such a kind soul so she nodded her head and followed the small buck out of the room, and down the stairs towards the kitchen. She heard a conversation happening as she approached the kitchen.
“Ma! I’m telling ya! Barna has a girly and she is quite a look ya see! She is so pretty and boy is she loaded with a huge set of milkers-!”
“REBECCA FOAL WATCH IT!”
“WHAT?! I’m just sayin the truth Ma!”
Kein’s face reddened as she glanced down towards her chest. She glanced down at Barnaby who was already looking at her with a blush on his face. He bowed his head in an apologetic manner before taking a seat at the table. Kein poked her head out from the corner of the stairway and saw three people sitting at the table besides Barnaby, Kein knew that the buff looking deer was his sister, Rebbeca. The slender older deer had to be his mother and the tall stag had to be his father. Kein emerged from the corner and went to sit down. Once she sat down she noticed Rebbeca staring at her, well not exactly at her, staring at her breast to be exact.
“See Ma! What did I tell ya?! Big milkers! She could give us milk for about thirty thousand years!”
“R-R-Rebbeca hush!”
“Oh shut up stutter buck! I know you was thinkin the same thing ya hear!”
“I-I-I-I WASN’T!”
Kein watched the two argue before laughing at them. She felt relaxed for once to finally have a family around her. They both looked at her as their arguing came to a halt. Kein’s laughter came to a halt as she gave them a lustful look, her hair covering one of her eyes as she raised her breasts onto the table.
“If you want some milk just ask. I’ll make sure you get every taste of my milk~”
Their parents spat out their water as Rebbeca and Barnaby's mouth dropped with what she said. Kein laughed heartily as she watched their reactions. She clapped her hands and bowed her head a little in an apologetic way. The deer family ate some vegetables while Kein just nibbled on a blend of toast and butter.
She chugged down a glass of orange juice before thanking the family for helping her. They nodded their heads.
“We’re happy to help M’lady.”
Kein was given a baggage full of food and books as she made her way out the front door.
“Hey milker! You expect to go outside wearing a nightgown? It’s broad daylight ya know?!”
Kein chuckled awkwardly before snapping her fingers. A beautiful blood red mermaid dress and heels appeared on Kein’s body, replacing her nightgown. The mermaid dress came with sleeves and a beautiful bow on the back. Kein placed her thumb and index finger together before blowing onto them. A loud pitch whistle came and soon rumbling. A beautiful large white wolf came into perspective as soon as Kein stopped whistling. Kein swung herself onto the wolf and waved goodbye towards the deer family. They all waved goodbye except Barnaby. He had his own tiny baggage. Rebbeca made an eye motion towards Kein and Kein caught on to what she was trying to hint at.
Kein stuck out her hand for Barnaby to grab onto. Once she felt his small hand touch hers, she pulled him onto the wolf and whistled quickly, causing the wolf to take off. Barnaby yelled in fear as he clutched onto Kein’s waist. Hiding his face in her back he finally relaxed, inhaling her scent.
“Roses and Vanilla…”
“Huh? Did you say something Barnaby?”
“I-I-I-I-I didn’t say a-a-a-a-anything at a-all!”
“Oh ok! Well if you need anything just let me know! I owe you one for helping me out there!”
Little did Kein know that her presence was all the small buck needed.
Meanwhile…..
“I don’t care how many guards you have to send! FIND KEIN BLOUSS!”
"Y-Yes Mother," Mikacellia said as she shrunk down in fear, leaving her mother's quarters.
“After all...She’s our key to having the shifters die once and for all…”
