Normal Man and Normal Cat didn’t believe in magic until one day, while they were walking down the street. They found a bottle. In the bottle it said…

                                   “By the gate of Normal Town, there is a hidden passage.

                                     To enter it you have to crack the question.

                                      If you don’t crack the question first time the consequences

                                       are bad.

                                       Your next message is by the gate.”

        Normal Man and Normal Cat were too excited to even think about the message. So they ran to the gate not even thinking a tiny little bit that anything was fishy about the message. When they got to the gate they started searching for the passage. Normal Cat found the passage behind some bushes and called Normal Man over.

        In front of the passage was a force field that blocked there way. In the middle of the force field hovered a bottle. Normal Man plucked the bottle out, opened it and read.

Who ruled Normal Town when it was built?

If you answer correctly you may go through the passage.

If not the whole town will be wiped out from the face of the earth by all the neighboring towns combined. The worst part is that no one will remember you. So take the offer or leave”

“Hmm,” said Normal Cat trying to remember the first king that was chosen to lead Normal Town.

“Wasn’t it that the first king had a name that didn’t have “Normal” in it?” Normal Man asked.

“Yes it did,” replied Normal Cat.

Normal Man angrily said, ”But I just can’t get it!”

“Oh I think I’ve got it!” Normal Cat shouted happily.

Normal Man questioned, “What is it?”

Normal Cat triumphantly said, “King Henry The First!”

Normal Man and Normal Car both jumped at the sound that the force field was making,” Answer Accepted, “you can find the next bottle by the magician’s dorm!” Then the force field disappeared.

Normal Man and Normal Cat scurried down the steps of the passage. When they got to the bottom they found a row of 100 dorms. They finally found out that the magician’s dorm was dorm 55.

“Do we really have to go in?” Normal Cat moaned.

“Yes we do,” said Normal Man.

So they braced themselves and opened the door, but instead of a tiny dorm it was a huge hall, and instead of just the magician being there, there were about 50 other people there saying surprise.

“What is this all about?” asked Normal Man.

Suddenly the King and Queen of Normal Town walked over to Normal Man and Normal Cat.

“This is our way of saying thank you to your kind and loyalness to our town,” replied Normal King The Eleventh.

“But who made the force field?” asked Normal Cat.

Normal Queen replied, “That would be the Normal Palace’s Magician.”

“Lunch is served!” shouted the Normal Palace’s Cook.

“Yay!” was shouted by many people in the room.
