Last time, Izumi and her friends have made to Senior Week. They are now well rested enough to have a summer to remember.
Fiore and I just bathed and got ready to go downstairs. As we walked into the hallway, we ran into no other than Tristan. Hey ladies, oh this is actually a childhood friend from Colombia, Axel Gallegos. Tristan replied. Axel this is Fiore Constantinoti. Tristan replied. Nice to meet you, Fiore. Axel replied. He shook Fiore's hand. This is my other friend Izumi LaFromboise. Tristan replied. Nice to meet you, Izumi. Axel replied. He shook my hand and didn't let go. Hey you can let my hand go, please. Hey Axel, let my hand go. I replied. I am so sorry. Axel replied. He let my hand go. Tristan pushed the elevator button. I smiled at Axel. As the door opened. We ran into the elevator. Ismene and Jennie jumped in. Hey don't think you are slick. Ismene replied. Is that you, Axel? Ismene asked. Wait, I didn't recognize you at first because you dyed your hair black. Axel replied. He smiled as he said that. Wait, you know, Ismene? I asked. Ismene gave him such an intense glare. Axel smiled. Jennie, I can't believe you broke out your shell, little Tristan. Jennie replied. You skipped work this weekend, didn't you? Jennie asked. Jennie gave a malicious smile. Tristan turned his head and saw the door opened. We'll meet you at the beach. Tristan replied. Aren't you going to eat breakfast like you asked? I asked. Axel and Tristan walked outside. My phone vibrated in my back pocket. I opened my phone. I saw Tristan's text. What is he deal? He asked Fiore and I to eat breakfast. I thought. "We grew up with Ismene and Jennie. Jennie is my first cousin on my father's side and Ismene is Axel's half-sister. The two make our lives a living hell." Hey what was that all about? Fiore asked. I will explain after we go to the boardwalk. I replied. Jennie walked over. Let me guess, the "perfect child" just broke free for once. Jennie replied. Tristan was taught to hate my mom and her family because of our carefree life we live. Jennie replied. Axel is my half-brother through my father. He lives the lush life with my father in Colombia. Ismene replied. You two have different last names. Fiore replied. Well, I took my mother's maiden name. Ismene replied. You know we should get breakfast, Ismene. Jennie replied. You are right. Ismene replied. We tagged along with them to getting breakfast. I know how she feels. I replied. Izumi, you share your mom's French last name LaFromboise, right? Fiore asked. Yes, my mom rarely brings up my dad's name. I replied. Let's just get breakfast. Fiore replied. We got our trays of breakfast and sat at the table with Ismene and Jennie. As we were eating, I was thinking about the two most popular students in our graduating class had family problems like me. I thought. After we ate, Fiore and I split up from Ismene and Jennie. We walked to the boardwalk to Axel and Tristan. It seems like they were waiting for us. I thought. Were you waiting for us boys? Fiore asked. Guilty. Axel replied. Why does she always says what I am always thinking. I thought.
Stay Tuned.
