So, last night I was watching TikTok before bed (as one does) and there's this one TikToker who I really like who analyzes and talks about Twilight. Well recently this creator has been reading Crave by Tracy Wolff, a supernatural YA series. I've never read the book (though I did see it in Walmart once, and I thought it was like a knock off Twilight). Anyway, the creator made a TikTok about the timeline of Crave, and I watched it as I have no intentions of reading the book myself. 

There's a side character in this book named Flint, who's a dragon!!!
Spoiler alert, MY Flint is a dragon. His name came to me when I was playing Legend of Zelda BOTW (Flint is an item in the game that you can get from breaking rocks). I just think its such a funny coincidence and Flint is a good name for dragon folk apparently. 

Anywho, here's some preliminary character information on him: 

+ Appearance: dyed purple hair, hazel eyes, tan complexion. Around Knox's height (in human form). Knox swears he's seen scales instead of skin when the sunlight hits his limbs correctly. 

+Personality: Serious nature, grumpy (but in a "I love you but will deny it until the day I die" type of way) Prideful, reclusive, protective. Typical dragon behavior

+ Knox considers him his best friend and vice versa

+ The second that they were allowed to move out of the school dorms they separated, but their friendship remains intact. Knox is unsure of their friendship, mostly because Flint has the emotional capacity of a frozen brick. 

+ The continuation of their friendship is more because of Flint's instincts than anything? Dragons are notoriously protective of their "hoards". In tales this often means a den full of gold, but dragons have been known to consider beings apart of their hoards. Essentially, since he lived with Knox for an entire year, his little dragon brain thinks of him as something he needs to maintain and protect (feeding him coffee and pastries every Tuesday, checking out his apartment when he noticed something off about his smell). I haven't decided if Flint is actually aware of this or not. 

That's pretty much it. Since he's so new, and he's a side character, I've intentionally left a lot of information on him "blank" so that I can manipulate any information on him as I need.
