She doesn't know if this man is the leader since he's wearing a robe but she can definitely see his face and shining hair taht reflecting by the sun!
But wait... a hot man on a horse? It seems like a scene that cane out from a fairytale. "What a cliché." Elyse blurted out.
But putting the clichés scenario in front of her...
Elyse want to scream, not because of fear but because of the hunkiness of the stranger man in front of her. 'Woah, his body is freaking hot! Exactly my type!'
The stranger man spoke, "Put down your swords." The knights followed and stood up straight.
And then the stranger man, stared again at Elyse. She's getting embarassed for no reason but he's really hot but it's not the time to think about that!
"Are you the goddess of the Viridescent Forest?" The man earlier who drew out his sword on her, strangely said. Elyse almost choke because of laughter. 'What? A goddess? For real? This people are crazy, what the hell!'
"Are you insane? Does a goddess even exist?" She looked at them one by one. Strangely, she can understand and even spoke their language.
"Are you a goddess?" The man who just arrived, asked Elyse the same question in a monotone voice. 'He sounds like an automatic machine. How dull.' And duh, who the fuck even believe in gods and goddess?! They are part of the myth! Only in the myth!
Wait a minute! This is not the time to be a bitch!
She was going to ask earlier if they were filming somewhere but now it would probably make sense to not. After seeing the eyes of this man, and the way they dressed. It looks real that even filming this kind of genre wouldn't make sense. They dressed like old-fashioned and clearly, seeing the man who just arrived in front of Elyse, he literally scream what god would look like and please! This kind of man cannot hide from the ladies in her country!
Elyse suddenly felt the coldness from the breeze. It really freezes her whole body!
"N-no way, do I look like one?" Elyse's trembling voice was so weak even if her tone was very sarcastic. Her lips trembled too.
Her mind was full of unnecessary things but she can't even speak louder which is funny.
After Elyse responded, the man dismounted his horse and gestured something. The man who had drawn his sword earlier bowed his head and exited.
The man who arrived late only gave her one look and made a face like he found her like a bug and didn't give her another look.
Elyse was irritated, but given the circumstances, this man who arrived late was most likely the leader of the group. Or, as they used to say, 'Our Lord.'
After a minute, the man returned with a piece of clothing. He handed it to Elyse and walked out without saying anything after bowing to the 'leader.'
A man dressed in a robe spoke up. "Cover yourself."
Elyse sensed the knight were still openly staring at her. 'I'm hot right? Yeah, take a picture, it would last longer.'
Perhaps the man sensed it too that making Elyse unmove, so he motioned for the knight to move a little further.
'Oh, he must think that I'm shy because of what I am wearing right now. How kind of you.'
"Thank you very much..."
She was only wearing a swimsuit while the people in front of her were dressed formally but who cares? She wasn't even that embarrassed giving the fact that she lived in the modern world so wearing a swimsuit would be nobut not in this cold weather!
She began to cover herself and sat on one of the rocks where the knights had previously sat.
"Rouge," the lord said as he led his horse to the side. Even if he hadn't finished his sentence, the one he called "Rouge" appeared in front of him right away.
They spoke for a while, but Elyse didn't hear everything. But she gets the gist of what they're saying. It's most likely because of her.
'Rouge' approached Elyse after they had finished talking. She must be correct in her observation that the conversation they had was entirely about her.
"Do you live in the woods?" The man who drew out his sword at Elyse earlier and handed her the garment, also known as Rouge, began to question her. It sounds like interrogation, or it is unmistakably an interrogation.
He's just standing straight while waiting for Elyse to respond, so he's looking down at her because of their position and the height difference. The man was tall and had a masculine body. Elyse was also tall, but after seeing this man, she began to doubt herself.
"No..."
"Can you tell me where you live?"
"I'm not sure..."
"Do you have no idea?"
'Of course, I'm aware, duh! But if I say I live somewhere modern and that I came from nowhere or from modern world, they'll think I'm insane! '
"Yes..."
"Could you then state your name?"
'Is it okay if I gave my real name?' Because it would be absurd if my name was 'I don't know.' too.
"It's Elyse..."
"Do you recall anything, such as where you lived or what you did for a living?"
'Let's just pretend I don't know or that I've lost my memories.' "I'm not really sure...my head kind of hurting right now..." Elyse touched her head, acting like it is hurt a lot. Somehow, she pull it off gorgeously.
Elyse is still trying to figure out what is going on with her while touchingher head. This is obviously not a dream, but it appears surreal. How could she have appeared out of nowhere, let alone in such an odd location?
"Last question. Who sent you?" Rouge's gaze and the manner in which he spoke clearly indicated a threat. He's threatening Elyse to speak up, but Elyse is simply perplexed.
"I'm not sure what you mean..." She was a little confused. 'Huh? I want to know too who sent me in this shit hole.'
Rouge just observe her and didn't ask anything anymore. He summoned the other two knights after the 'interrogation.' "Keep an eye on her. If she made any unusual movements, execute her right away. " Rouge stated unequivocally. Then they march away.
'Did I hear it wrong?'
'Assasinate?'
'Did he intend for me to hear his command?'
'He's insane!'
'Will they, in the end, kill me?"
'I assumed they would assist me; did I make a mistake?'
'I thought they were nice because they gave me a piece of clothing.'
'Is this what you called a false hope?'
"Get ready to leave." Rouge stated and the knights started to move their asses.
Elyse had not seen the hot man who had arrived late earlier. But that's not important right now.
The sun had already risen. The sunrise had come and gone. So it's time for the knights to go.
What about Elyse, though? Where will they take her?
Rouge spoke with Elyse once more. "We need to learn more about you. We can't just let you go like that. You can be paid to assassinate someone or whatever. "
Her mouth twitched, "What the fuck are you talking about?" Elyse asks, tilting her head. Elyse mumbled something. Her foul mouth had reached its limit.
"What?" But, thankfully, the man in front of her didn't hear anything.
Elyse did not respond, but she did inquire. "What will happen to me then?" Elyse was still having some thoughts is these people is trust-worthy or not. It's not that, she trust them for real, she just need to trust them for the mean time to survive.
"You have no right to ask." Only the cold Rouge sneered at Elyse.
Elyse is aware of what this means. That she's screwed up now that she's met crazy people!
Elyse was led to a less-than-sparkling carriage, which meant a regular carriage. She thought the knights were incredible base on the glamorous clothing, and now her awe has faded at the speed of light after seeing the normal or possibly the carriage that appears to be in danger of being wrecked in just one step.
There is no such thing as a prince on a horse. There is just hot stranger but weirdo in a horse! The Disney Princesses are a farce! Ugh! And there was someone sitting inside. But she didn't mind the man and slowly climbed the carriage when Rouge motioned for her to do so.
Everyone is prepared to leave. Elyse noticed the carriage driving slowly until she couldn't see the forest any longer.
She has no idea where they will abandon her or what they will do to her.
But first and foremost, what the fuck! The carriage is completely useless. She has only ever experienced an extreme bumpy ride on the way to 'who knows where they will go' in her entire life.
No offense, she knew she didn't have the right to criticize them because, even if they were insane, they still helped Elyse. But right now, she was cursing the carriage.
Elyse was gradually improving while traveling, but don't forget about the carriage. The horse's pace wasn't too fast, so she could really enjoy the cold breeze on her barely-there skin. The piece of fabric was still wrapped around her body, so she wasn't as cold as she had been.
And because the man in front of her doesn't talk the entire ride, she doesn't mind. It's more advantageous not to talk because she might slip some useless words.
She just happened to catch a glimpse of the man across from her and thought it was odd.
How does a wealthy man ride in a bumpy and unsightly carraige? Is he these people's lord?
But she didn't say anything because it wasn't her business and she recalled what Rouge had said earlier.
She is still in love with her life. She truly does.
She was enjoying the view until she began to hear noises coming from the city.
They're still a long way from the noises, but Elyse believes they're getting closer to the city.
"Move quietly. Locate the threat. On the spot execution. " The man who was riding the horse and leading everyone spoke up. That cold voice was heard by Elyse! It was the white-haired man, but he was still wearing the robe and hood, so she couldn't see him, and she was behind the horse that he was riding.
The order was the only reason the two knights left. Rouge was among the five knights who remained.
Elyse interpreted his order. Why is execution always included in orders?
That was based on her personal experience.
However, as they got closer, the loud noises became more audible. The people with Elyse began to put on their robes. She didn't ask why, because it wasn't her concern.
Nevertheless, they didn't wear it to attract attention. After seeing some people wearing the same thing, it's probably normal in this world.
The man's voice sounded cold to Elyse. Why is she always in the middle of the cold guys?
They finally entered the city after some time. The city was a bustling place. Many stores were lined up on both sides. But it was the one in the middle of the capital that drew Elyse's attention.
Elyse looked out the carraige window and saw the palace...?
Palace?! It's stunning and glamorous! Even though Elyse was a long way away, it drew a lot of attention. The palace was enormous in size!
She's a long way away, but she can still see the opulent palace.
The palace in her world paled in comparison.
She inquired about Rouge, who was riding a horse and positioned near the window carriage while she was still peering out the window. "Mister! Is that a real palace? Like a true palace, where royals lives?" She asked in a shocked tone, and a bit excited, having forgotten what Rouge had said earlier due to excitement.
The carriage and horses were just moving slowly because they were in the city and there were a lot of people around them.
He stared at her, and Elyse could read his eyes, which said, 'Where did you come from?!' But he immediately responded, "What do you think? Tch. "
She isn't completely naive, but she just want some assurance. The palace was real... it was beyond beautiful!
"Oh, thank you so much." Elyse responded while still staring at the opulent palace. "That's so cool," she murmured.
'So, I'm in a place where royalty leads,' Elyse began to think. 'Is this one of the countries on the Earth? But I'm fairly certain it isn't. They were dressed in a way that would not be appropriate on Earth. They are historically accurate. But the most important question is, "Where am I?" And how did I end up here? Aside from drinking earlier and getting drunk, I didn't do anything. Did I pass away? Is it true that I drowned in the sea? Impossible, fool! 'I'm still dressed in my two-piece bikini! Did I went to heaven with my bikini? Or maybe I fell in hell.' Elyse began to bite her nails out of frustration She's tired of thinking.
Elyse, on the other hand, is curious to see how her mother will react. Will she be enraged and call her phone nonstop? She should have witnessed it. Even for her, it was silly, but hey, after what she did to Elyse, it should be perfectly acceptable. But we'll think about that later.
"Is it your first visit to the Royal Capital and seeing the Royal Palace? Do you live in the forest, that's why you're ignorant in common things?"
Elyse was awakened by a voice. The cold man was supposedly riding with her in the carraige, but the man had a warm voice.
"... Are you speaking to me?" Elyse made a point of pointing at herself.
"Yes, lady." He smiled so much that his eyes smiled as well.
'How adorable...'
Elyse hesitated before responding, but eventually said, "You could say that. Hehe." She cracked a small smile. This is her first 'normal' conversation with someone. Oh, she was crying at the moment because of the first 'achievement'.
Her earlier conversation with Rouge and the man was out of the ordinary. Just thinking about it isn't a pleasant memory.
After she answered, the carraige was filled with awkward silence.
'All right... for the time being, I should just observe everything.'
She was taken aback by the sight until the carraige came to a halt.
They came to a halt at one location. It appears to be a restaurant. But not the expensive or modern one, but the normal one.
'Is it a pub? For what purpose? Are they going to try to sell me here?'
The adorable guy, after getting off the carraige, walked towards the white-haired guy. He even glanced at Elyse and cast her a smile before having a conversation with the white-haired man.
They talked for a while, and it appeared to be a serious matter. Elyse was just watching them through the window again when the rich-looking man bowed to the white-haired man.
'Huh? I thought he was the master of them, so why is he bowing his head to the knight's leader? It's intriguing. Is he in a higher position than you? How come?'
After they talked, the cute man with her in the carraige earlier, glance again at her and gave her a warm smile and then he finally went inside the pub. Elyse felt butterflies in her stomach. He's so adorable!
"Is that it? I thought you were going to try to sell me here? " Without thinking, Elyse blurted out. She is still flustered.
"What do you take us for?" Elyse received a cold response from Rouge.
Elyse pressed her lips together. 'This Motherfucker, if he just explain even a little bit or just gave me a tiny clue, I wouldn't be anxious that I might be sold!'
