{THE LOUD NOISE WAS...}

After listening to the loud noise, Clem and Abheek ran with the speed of light to the table where Mela and Aris (#Meris) were sitting. (yes the writer is a hardcore shipper too lol)
They both asked with their eyes wide open, "What happened?". Both Mela and Aris had an expression of being flustered and burning cheeks (not the type of cheeks you're thinking about😏).

Meris together said, "NO! ITS NOTHING!" and looked at each other being embarrassed. Before clem and Abheek would say something, Aris said she had to go home then because her mom texted her. Well, it was just an excuse but she somehow wanted to get out of that situation. Abheek, Clem, and Mela then saw her off and started to go together to their home(since they live in the same neighborhood). Suddenly, Mela exclaimed, "Darn it! why did I say that...!" (face-palming). Abheek and Clem were already so curious about what the matter is all about and it was so difficult to hold it in any longer. So Abheek asked, "Why, what happened Mel? What you shouldn't have said?"  Mela was looked at him with a self-embarrassed face and said, "Nothing!" and ran away towards her home. Both the friends were worried about her and Aris so Clem told Abheek to not worry too much because he will try his best to ask Mela what happened at home.

{AT NIGHT}
Aris was lying on the bed thinking to herself- I still can't get over the situation I was in. I felt like my heart was about to burst, but wait why was it fluttering so hard? am I not straight... Ahh, I dunno just forget about it already and go to sleep! (quilting her face swiftly)

{THE SITUATION}

Mela asked Aris sincerely this time if she wants to date her. Aris said, "Umm...Mela, I think I am straight." Mela was rather surprised than disappointed because she has always heard Aris romantically complimenting girls. For example, one day one of her classmate's was tying her hair, Mela and Aris were sitting together, suddenly Aris murmured, "Wow! look at that neckline, gosh...I think it will be too soft to kiss and how different it will feel to listen to her heartthrob." (this sounds so gay but you know what can be done to make Aris realize lol)

As friends, they never talked about their sexualities or sexual orientation because they loved each other the way they were and didn't want to intrude in each other's love life.
But there were many times when these kinds of things happened which made Mela think she could, possibly, ask Aris out one day.

Going back to the topic, Mela then started apologizing and again started blurting things out, "Really? gosh...I am so clueless, so sorry Aris, I'm sorry for doing all this, I only thought bout my feelings! And even sensually fantasized about us in my dream! omg." Aris shouted pretty loudly, "WHAT?! 😳"

Mela realized after some seconds (she's slow but cute 🤭) She said, "no...Aris, no it's... it's not like...like that!"

they both couldn't look directly into the eyes of each other (ba-dump).

The atmosphere changed suddenly both could feel their hearts pound like crazy, the blood from the heart rushed towards the fingertips, making them hot as a bonfire.

At that time, Clem and Abheek suddenly came and this situation ended there.

But it was still alive in Aris and Mela's heart even when they were away from each other, they couldn't help but think bout each other and get embarrassed.
