Straight after school, Jen grabbed Sarah and made for the clump of trees in Woodland Park where they knew Alex lived, or perhaps, stayed. She looked around, hoping to catch a glimpse of a lime-green shirt or a mop of messy black hair. She saw both behind a tree and ran over, bursting with excitement.
"Alex! Aaaallleeeeexxxx!!" Jen shouted, Sarah running behind her.
Alex turned and saw both of them dashing madly towards him. He got out from behind the tree and sauntered towards them. Pointing to a rock, he said, "Chill, guys. Got a tornado or something?" Jen shook her head and sat down on the rock, Sarah on the floor.
"So now, I need you to tell me more about these, um, powers," Jen exclaimed.
Alex looked confused for a moment, but then he snapped into realisation. "Oh, that. Be prepared for more information than a History lecture. Okay?" Jen nodded.
"So, four people in this whole universe was chosen to hold the four elements, because the original Holder, T.U.G.-" "Who's tug?"
Alex just stared at Jen. "T.U.G., the original Holder. The Unknown Guy. Anyways he was defeated by some weird fighters (no one knows their names) and at his very last moment, he assigned each element to four lucky people whom he knew they would be safe with. And so, here we are with these powers. There is only one way to bring T.U.G. back, and that's to get the Revival Gem. Except that nobody knows where it's hidden, only legend says that it lies in a cave in the North where a creature guards it. Again, nobody knows what the creature is." Alex's eyes brimmed with tears suddenly.
"Why're you crying?" asked Sarah. "And... how do you know all this?"
