That was so embarrassing! I can’t believe he saw me naked! He just stood there and stared!
Oh my gosh, he was probably making fun of me. He’s so muscled and I’m so skinny.
I think back to this morning, when I woke up with him over me. It was weird, I almost forgot where I was. I thought I was back with my family for a second, but then I saw that he was holding me and I was in the all white room.
I turned the shower off, but still felt water running down my face and I was confused. Then, I realized that I was crying. What is my family doing right now? Are they looking for me? Did they just go on with their daily lives? Does Scott think I ditched our movie hang out?
I sit down on the bench in the middle of the shower house and cry into my hands. “Are you alright?” I look up to see Thomas is back with a first aid kit and food.
“Yeah, just thinking about stuff. I’m sorry.” He gives me a hard stare, but doesn’t say anything. He hands me the first aid kit, but I don’t know how to fix my burn. “What do I do?”
“What do you mean?”
“How do I fix my burn?”
He lets out an exasperated sigh, “I’ll do it.”
“Sorry.”
“You say ‘sorry’ a lot.”
“I know, it’s a habit, sor-” I decide I should just stop talking.
“Put on some clothes and then I’ll patch up your burn.”
He turns around and starts to walk away, “Where are you going, I thought you were going to help me?”
“I am. I thought you didn’t like it when I watched you change?”
“I don’t. Just don’t leave, I don’t want to be alone right now.” I felt like I was going to burst into tears at any second. “Please don’t leave.”
He stayed, but stared at the wall instead of looking at me. “Thanks,” I say, pulling on my pants. He turned around and looked a little too long for comfort, so I wrapped my arms around my waist. “Ow,” I realized my hand was resting right on top of my burn.
“Sit down.” I sat down and he kneeled in front of me, “Put your arm up a bit. This might hurt a bit.” He ripped open a pouch of antiseptic and started to rub it on my burn. I hissed in a breath. He stopped.
“I’m fine.”
He continued. Finally, his fingers lifted off my burn and I felt sudden relief. He pressed a large gauze on top of the burn. “Hold this here while I wrap it.” He got tape out of the first aid kit and started to wrap it around my whole chest and stomach.
“Do you really need to wrap it all the way around? Can't you just tap it on?”
“It won’t stay as well and this is a bad burn. It will heal better like this.” He continued to wrap.
“Ow,” he hit a sore spot.
“All done,” he said after a while of wrapping. “I’ll check it in a few days, but right now we should go back to your room and eat some lunch.”

It was hard to move around with the tape around me like this, but I mostly stayed in bed for the rest of the day. When I needed something, Thomas got it for me. He may seem quiet and rude on the outside, but he was actually really sweet on the inside. I think.
We didn’t really talk for the rest of the day, just sat in comfortable silence. I caught him staring at me many times, which is a little weird, but Thomas is a little weird.
“So, you want to start classes tomorrow?” He suddenly asks.
“Um, yeah, I was hoping to.”
“Classes are technically over for the day, so I’ll let Michael know and get your schedule. I will also bring dinner.”
“Okay, thanks.”
He opened the sliding door with a panel on the wall. Somehow I managed to fail to notice it when I was trying to get out. I still don’t have a code for it, though, so Thomas is the only one who can get us in and out.
I’m feeling a little tired, so I decided I would take a nap while Thomas is gone. I hope he brings something good for dinner.
