Just like that, three whole years flew on by…
Kein had officially kept her word and slayed Mikacellia and her family, easily claiming her right to the throne. She was now known as Empress Kein or as the knights and noblemen called her, Empress Blouss. Her once lilac hair was now lilac with black tips that naturally came as she aged. Her hair was beyond the length of any human, you could basically call her rapunzel in a way. Her violet eyes became darker and more intimidating, her lips became more plump just like her breast. She was now the beautiful age of twenty-six. Gifted with an amazing gift of war and art Kein was a gifted empress just like her mother. Yet, despite her amazingness, Kein had also been blessed with a son. Yes, he may be adopted but she doesn’t believe in the term non-biological. She views and treats him as a son that she was giving birth towards. Her lovely son was blessed with a similar name that resembled her long passed brother, Lyclenel. She may not have known her brother but she knew that what she did felt right somewhere in her heart. Lyclenel (Ly-sen-el) was originally supposed to be a child slave but Kein didn’t stand for anything that had a child in danger, expectually when the child is only eight years old. Lyclenel was a small boy that was a shifter just like Kein except he could only shift into a wolf. He had beautiful curly black hair, violet eyes, pale skin, peachy lips, and freckles sprawled all across his face. He was also a very shy boy that wouldn’t do anything unless Kein, his mother, was right there with him.
“Where is the Empress?”
“I think she’s asleep.”
“Well wake her up!”
“No you-”
“MOVE!”
A thick russian voice boomed throughout the hallways of the brand new castle. Every housemaid and butler knew who that voice belonged to. The one and only Katya, daughter of Silfi. She swung open the bedroom door that contained the empress and her son sleeping in. She noticed how Kein’s hair was long enough to reach the doorway as she swung the curtains open.
“Rise and shine you two! You both have a busy day ahead of you!”
Kein covered Lyclenel with the covers as he snuggled into her stomach for comfort. Kein was soon snatched out of the bed by Katya, leaving her son exposed to everyone that was coming in and out of the room. Lyclenel opened his eyes as he stared up at the ceiling for a while. He felt around for his mother but once he noticed she wasn’t there, he shot up straight. Lyclenel noticed everyone’s eyes on him, which triggered his emotions to sprawl up. His eyes watered up as he began to cry for his mother. Kein quickly pushed Katya to the side before picking up her son. Once she did, he quickly hid his face between the crook of her neck as his crying came to a simmer.
“It’s ok, mama didn’t go anywhere.”
Lyclenel suffered from separation anxiety even though he hated to admit it. Kein walked over towards the couch that sat in her room. Once her behind touched the seat, the maids, including Katya, began to get the two royals ready for the day.
Kein had kept everything in the kingdom well and healthy but no matter how good she was, she still had a whole lot of work to do so she could improve the kingdom and help out the townsfolk more.
Once dressed, Kein placed Lyclenel down onto the floor. As he stood by her side, he watched Katya tie up his mother’s hair into a high ponytail before braiding the ponytail. After the long braiding process, Kein was topped off with her crown, her crown was golden and smelted with clear and violet crystals while Lyclenel’s crown was covered with violet jewels. Kein slid on her black heels that complimented her red victorian dress. She stood up and made her way out of her room, along with Lyclenel holding onto her hand. As they made their way down the stairs Lyclenel was greeted by Barnaby, the royal ambassador. He stuck out his hand for Lyclenel to grab but Lyclenel hid behind his mom, waiting for Barnaby to go away. Kein chuckled at her son’s actions before walking down the stairs that lead to the conference room.
“ENTERING, EMPRESS KEIN AND PRINCE LYCLENEL!”
Chair began to scuffle backwards as the two royals entered the conference room. Everyone was beaming with joy as they were finally able to see Kein’s son. She took a seat on her royal chair with Lyclenel on her lap.
“Daily report?”
“Ah! Y-Yes! So, everything is going well throughout the kingdom and town. There are no homeless folks, they all have a home, money, and enough food and clothing for a lifetime thanks to you.”
Kein smiled as she thought of how well things were going. True she may have said that she was going to be way worse than her dad but she never said in what way or form.
After the daily report, Kein and Lyclenel decided to take a rest in the throne room. As they both sat on their thrones, enjoying the peace, the door suddenly swung open.
Castle guards came running into the throne room with two people with bags over their heads and filthy clothing on. Kein wrinkled her nose in disgust, her son copying the same actions as her.
“Your Empressness! We caught these two sneaking around the castle gates, trying to sneak a way inside!”
Kein made a motion with her hand to unmask the two ruffians. As the guards yanked off the masks, Kein’s bored expression turned into pure hatred and excitement.
“Well...well...well! If it isn’t Kara Grapp and Silfi Heart! Silfi I understand you coming to the castle, but why is this thing with you?”
Kein kept a smile on her face as she pointed towards Kara, who looked pretty much lifeless. Stripped of her title due to the amount of mess and panic she caused for her father, Kara nearly lost everything. The only thing she didn’t lose was Silfi and Sulian. Her emerald eyes were now hollow, and her long orange hair was cut into a messy bob.
Kein laughed at how pathetic Kara looked.
“Kein! Give me back my damn title!”
Kein stood up from her throne as she made her way towards Kara, her heels clicking against the tiles of the glistening castle floors. She leaned down towards Kara’s height before opening her eyes. Sending a cold glare into Kara’s soul.
“That’s no way to talk to the empress now is it?”
Kein stood up and plastered the eye closing smile back onto her face as she made her way back towards her throne. She picked up Lyclenel and placed him onto her lap as she sat down.
“Throw Kara into the dungeon but let Silfi go.”
Kara’s anger soared through the roof as she tried to summon her vines but nothing appeared. Nothing came out of her arms, it was as if she was an ordinary human being.
“What did you do to me?!”
“Well, we can’t have you spreading your horrible vines anywhere! So I just locked away your little nature show with a simple spell. I’ll give it back to you if you beg for it…”
Kein stopped smiling and replaced her joyful face with an insane erotic look. Kara sucked her teeth in as she noticed Kein stick out one of her heels for Kara to lean against. Kara’s pride was hurt but she would never stoop that low.
“Never in hell would I ever beg! I’m Kara Grapp! Us Grapps don’t-”
“You’re not a Grapp anymore Kara..”
Kein covered her son’s ears as she grinned wickedly.
“You’re nothing now! You’re a worthless piece of shit that had her nose so far up her ass...Karma got you fucking good...Isn’t that right Kara?! How does it feel to be dirty, to lose everything, and to not feel any form of love?! Huh?! How does it feel to be just like me six fucking years ago?!”
Kein hauled out laughing, as she finally uncovered her son’s ears, she then leaned down towards Lyclenel’s left ear.
“Lyclen, go play with Barnaby, mommy is going to be busy~”
Lyclenel shyly nodded his head before trudging off to find Barnaby.
Kara’s face was plastered with a sour look as Kein made her way back towards her but this time, Kein had no smile on her face. Fear slowly sunk into Kara’s heart as the woman she loved loomed over her.
Kein raised her right heel before kicking Kara towards the ground.
“That’s payback for when you fucking raised your hand against me.”
She grabbed Kara by her hair making her scream as she dragged her out.
“Shut the fuck up before I shut you up for good…”
“You’ll pay for this Kein!”
“Kara, I already did my time...now it’s your fucking turn!”
Kein dragged Kara all the way down into the dungeon. Tightening her grip on Kara’s hair, Kein flung Kara into a cell that was already prepared beforehand. Once Kara was in the cell, she slammed the door shut and glared at her.
“You’ll be here for a very long time…”
She spun around and walked back up the stairs to handle her trip to the town that she brought out of the rubble. She had much more important things to do, dealing with a stuck up ‘’ex’’ of hers was the least of her problems.
“Make sure you keep an eye on her,” Kein said to one of the guards that were standing by the dungeon’s gates.
The guard nodded his head and made his way down into the dungeon. Kein called for her son, who happily came running down the stairs and flung himself into her arms.
“M-Mom, who was that woman?”
Kein stiffened a little bit before relaxing her body.
“A very bad woman...Now then! Let’s go say hi to your classmates and their parents!”
Lyclenel happily skipped along with Kein as they walked out the castle gates to get into a beautiful red and gold carriage, the carriage had black roses embroidered onto the sides, and had beautiful flower stained wheels.
The carriage took off, taking the royal carriage into the town of wealth and happiness. Kein stared out the window as she thought about Kara. Her inner beast had been silent over the past two years, so she never had anything but her own rage when it came down to the thought of her. She didn’t want to see Kara after the whole fight they had two years ago but Kara just always seems to find her way back into Kein’s life.
The thought of it left a bitter taste in Kein’s mouth. Lyclenel seemed to have noticed his mother’s foul mood, he hugged her arm and rested his head against her arm.
“Don’t worry mommy! I won’t let that bad woman hurt you! I’ll protect you!”
