The afternoon sun hung high in the light azure blue sky as the feathery white clouds effortlessly wisped by. Their shadows barely dimmed the rays of light that shone down through the pointed scarlet leaves of the old maple tree overhead. There was a warm autumn breeze in the air that gently caressed my face and danced with my long locks of hair.
I was sitting by the campus duck pond on an old somewhat rotting wooden bench. The water sparkled in the distance as it reflected the bright sunshine. Lacey and Amelia were sitting there with me, munching on snacks and catching up with all the latest drama. It was our usual Monday afternoon ritual.
I was never really too interested in all the gossip that we’d talk about. It was hardly ever about ourselves, and I honestly couldn’t care less about who’s dating who, who’s talking smack, etc. However, these conversations made me feel a part of something, like I wasn’t just some awkward quirky nerd, like I was worthy of being in the loop.
Their voices began to fade as I zoned out a bit and looked off into the distance. I could see the happy little ducks swimming around, leaving small ripples in the water behind them. My mind drifted further and I couldn’t help but think about Ashton. Remembering his perfect body over mine. His sweet kisses and caresses. How his soft hair felt tangled between my fingers. His massive cock pulverizing my vagina... I smiled and blushed a little at the thought.
“Umm...Gwendolyn?” Lacey was suddenly furrowing her brows and waving her hand in front of my face.
“Oh! Um, sorry... I must have spaced out. What were we talking about again?” I asked, now realizing that I had been in sexual Lala Land.
“I’m guessing by the look on your face that you were thinking about that guy you met at the party, weren’t you?” She remarked with an all too knowing smirk.
“Wait you met a guy? Was this at my party last week?” Amelia asked, now seeming very intrigued.
“Oh yeah she did! William told me that they were out all day together on Saturday too.” Lacey teased.
“Well, I didn’t actually meet him at the party, we had met before in the library and then at the cafe, but it’s not like we’re really together or anything.” I said defensively. I could feel the heat rising in my now bright red cheeks.
“Wait, you had already hung out together at the library and then you had a breakfast date with him? Bullshit you’re not together! Besides, William saw you guys at the party going at it on the front lawn. Then you spent the night at his place, and came home the next day wearing nothing but his tee-shirt and boxers!” Lacey grinned while giving me a slight friendly tap on the upper arm.
“You had sex on my lawn!?” Amelia blurted out in surprise.
"No, nono! It wasn’t what you think!” My embarrassment was shooting through the roof.
“So you’re saying that you didn’t have sex with him?” Lacey cocked a suspicious brow at me.
“We, um no... I mean yeah I did, but it’s not what you guys think... Ugh, I really don’t know.” I hid my tomato-red face in my hands.
They both loudly burst out into laughter.
I wanted to tell them the whole deranged story, I really did. However, I couldn’t exactly explain the whole murder and kidnapping thing. So I begrudgingly held my tongue and let them believe whatever fable they wanted.
“Who is this guy anyway?” Amelia asked through her cackles.
“He’s just some weirdo named Ashton.” I answered, bringing my still very red face from my hands, yet slightly snickering myself.
“Hmm... That’s bizarre. I didn’t invite anyone named Ashton... I don’t think that I even know anyone with that name. Maybe he was brought there by a friend?” Amelia said somewhat to herself. “What’s his last name?”
“Umm... You know, I’m actually not sure. I never asked.” I was now wondering the same question.
“Well, you should find out if you’re going to be sleeping with the guy.” Lacey jokingly stated.
“It was a one time thing. Like I said, we aren’t actually together or anything.” I was actually reassuring myself more than my friends.
Just then the sound of wind chimes rang softly from my phone. My alarm was letting me know that my English class would be starting soon.
Thank goodness!
We said our quick goodbyes and I scurried off to class, thankful that they didn’t have the chance to ask me any more details about my bizarre relationship with Ashton. I myself was conflicted about it. The guy seemed like an odd combination of both sweet and psychotic. I wanted to deny it, but I was beginning to sort of like him. I mean, I had even slept with him already for goodness sake! What is wrong with me?
Class had just ended and I had to stop by the library to get a book for my reading assignment. I strolled down the cobblestone path that led to the large castle-like stone building. My boots clicked against the stone and the wind blew through my long hair, causing my bangs to be in complete disarray. The rays of late afternoon sun were shining down from above the tall yellowing birch trees that lined the path, casting a warm golden hue through the leaves and upon the ground before me. White wood aster grew rampantly around the area, making the whole scene look like it belonged in some fairy tale land.
I walked up and opened the large wooden door. As I entered, the breeze caused a few dead leaves to swirl in with me. The smell of wood and old books filled my nose, and quiet murmurs filled my ears. I quickly stopped to admire some of the intricate details on one of the first archways I passed under, using my fingertips to gently caress the beautiful floral indentations.
I then continued on down the creaky floor of a small hallway, up a tall circle staircase, and turned into the poetry room. I was looking for the works of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. I wasn’t sure if I should be checking in the “W” or the “L” aisle, but I figured that I’d start with “L.”
As I wandered down the dim musty aisle, the smell of old books and cedarwood wafted strongly through the air. My eyes searched over the many colorful manuscripts, seeking the one I needed.
I suddenly started to feel rather anxious, as if I wasn’t alone, like I was being closely watched. The hairs on the back of my neck stood up. This feeling was becoming somewhat normal for me, and I feared that I was possibly losing my mind. I looked down towards the wall at the shadowed dead end of the aisle. It was dark and cobwebbed, the light from above barely reaching it. It felt like someone was there, lurking in the darkness. Like a predator was watching its prey, cloaked from sight.
Get a grip you paranoid buffoon!
I realized that I was also in this library the first time the strange feeling had crept over me. I unsuccessfully tried to brush it off and kept looking for my book. There was clearly no one over there and it was insane to feel frightened by a dimly lit corner!
My eyes finally landed on the book that I needed. It was on a higher shelf, and I being only 5'4, had to really reach up on my tip-toes to get it. My fingertips managed to slightly grip the cover and I began struggling to pull it down. A large warm hand suddenly touched my lower back, causing me to quickly jump in fright and let out a small scream. The book dropped to the floor as I frantically whipped around.
“Sweet lemony leprechauns! What is the meaning of this!?”
“Wow, someone’s easy to scare... I was only going to help you reach that book.” Ashton said with an amused laugh.
“What the heck? Ashton? How did you sneak up on me like that?” Really how did he? Those old wooden floors were super creaky and he’s practically a titan.
“I didn’t sneak up on you, I emerged from the darkness.” He joked sarcastically while wiggling his fingers towards me in a “spooky” way, before reaching down to grab the book, and handing it to me with a snickering grin.
“Haha, very funny.” I took the book from his hand with a scowl. “What are you doing here anyway?” I asked while trying to compose myself and shoving some hair behind my ear. I was feeling a bit awkward remembering that he’d dicked me down in the woods not that long ago, and I didn’t really know how I should act around him.
“I was just looking for something. Luckily, I seem to have found it.” He shrugged with a grin.
“That’s nice... Well, I have also found what I was looking for, so I should be going home to study. I’ll see you around.” I started to turn to walk away.
He quickly put his arm out against the shelf, blocking me from leaving. Slowly, his head turned to look at me with an expression that appeared calm, yet made me feel as though I had just provoked a hornet's nest with a stick. I guess he didn’t appreciate me trying to give him the slip. Oops.
“I have a better idea, why don’t you come home with me and we can study together back at my place?” He lifted my chin up with his free hand in a dominant caress.
“I-I.. um.. well-” I couldn’t respond. I just looked at him with wide wary eyes, slumped back, and bit my lower lip.
How does he have this effect on me?
His gaze heated as he looked down at my mouth. The hand that was under my chin gently grabbed my jaw, and his thumb popped my lip out from under my teeth. He leaned forwards, lowering his face right to mine.
“Don’t bite your lip in front of me like that, Buttercup, or I might have to bend you over and fuck you right here in this musty old library.” Although he practically whispered, his deep voice was rough, almost a growl. He brushed his thumb across my lips while moving his other hand from the wall to grab my waist and pull me closer to him.
Oh, snap...
I was terrified that he might actually be serious, and yet the floodgates in my panties were suddenly wide open. I didn’t know what to say or do, so I turned my head to the side to shyly look away from him, where I noticed an old prudish woman in the aisle across from us. She was shaking her head and glaring in disapproval.
Oh my fucking god. I was so embarrassed. Ashton followed my gaze and started to laugh as he pinned me against his chest in a hug. I let out a little “Oof” noise.
“So, what do you say, will you come home with me?” He asked while smiling down at me.
“Alright I guess so, but just to study, nothing more!” I pointed my finger firmly against his chest.
He grinned wickedly, making him look like a devil who’d just received a new toy.
“Excellent.” He said before leaning in and giving me a quick kiss.
Maybe my sudden arousal and secret desire for round two with him was the reason I agreed to go, or it could have been that after having spent some time together, he was actually starting to grow on me a bit. I had no fucking idea. I still wasn’t sure what I thought of him, but going back to his place to study couldn’t hurt, right?
“Eherm...” We both looked over to see the older woman now standing at the end of the aisle, glaring daggers at us with her arms crossed and tapping her foot. She was clearly trying to break up our public display of affection. My face instantly turned bright red, and I tried to hide it behind my book.
"Oh yeah, come here you scrumptious little minx!” Ashton lasciviously growled, grabbed my hips, and made thrusting motions against me, while fake grunting and making eye contact with the woman. My body instantly went rigid like an awkward stiff board, and I held the book even closer over my tomato-red face.
Oh my god...
A look of disgust and shock contorted the woman’s face. She huffed, turned on her heel, and stomped away in a snobbish manner.
Ashton abruptly stopped and hugged me again while laughing. “Wow, what a busy body.” He shook his head, pretending to sound annoyed through his chuckling.
We both looked at each other for a second and then started to snicker. I quickly forgot about my embarrassment, since Ashton had created humor from the moment. He then leaned down and quickly nuzzled his nose on mine. The action took me by surprise but made me laugh even more as I tried to lean away.
“Come on, let's go.” He said while grabbing my hand and leading me off.
