So yesterday (Sunday), I went to Currumbin creek with my family, and while I was looking for shells I sliced my foot on an oyster (IT HURTS LIKE A FOOKEN BITCH) and got a few smaller cuts and scratches around the main one, we cleaned them and when we got home we got a doctor to come and have a look at it, he has started me on antibiotics because of how big the cut is (2cm wide, 5mm deep).

The reason I am telling you this is because I want you to be careful when swimming, and also I want to tell you this

If you get a cut or scratch from a shellfish of any type no matter how big or small you need to clean it thoroughly because shellfish can cause necrotic tissue

So in other words CLEAN YOUR CUTS AND SCRATCHES OR YOU COULD LOOSE A LIMB
