The person who was talking was Leo, Octavio retorts a little annoyed. "What do you wnat Leo, are you wanting to suck my dick?"

Leo is known by almost everyone in the college, some avoid him because they don't like his unstable personality, while others like to have him by their side.

The two met recently while wandering between classes, Octavio even likes Leo a bit, he's fun and very sociable, but like the others, his unstable personality tends to be a serious problem.

"Oh fuck off, I wanted to introduce you to a beautiful girl, it's time for you to hook up with someone, so you can feel a little better about yourself."

With this comment, Octavio feels annoyed, but since he had attracted some attention from the people in the plaza after talking too loudly, he thinks about whether to go or not.

"Hang on, you with that shit again? Dude, I already told you I'm not caring so much about girls lately."

"Just come here, are you so embarrassed that you can't even get close? Don't worry, she's docile."

Leo laughs, making an ironic expression while he keeps telling Octavio to come closer. After being a little recessive, he gives in and then goes towards Leo.

Octavio, while walking, notices some people around him, as he gets closer he starts to speak.

"So, what the fuck did you want to talk to me, is this girl by your side?"

In fact there was a girl sitting with Leo, just like the two of them, she is very young, but stands out for her beauty. Her hair is tinged with purple as she wears some black clothes and pantyhose, a dream of any teenager in her puberty.

"Easy dude, her name is Esther, she said she's interested in meeting someone more nerdy, I thought you would be perfect for that."

"Hey stop, I didn't say any of that ‘nerdy’ thing, I just want to meet someone that’s better than you Leo." Complements Esther.

"Look, I don't want to spoil expectations or anything, but I already said I'm not in the mood to be with any girl, so go fuck off Leo, you're embarrassing her."

He didn’t care what Esther said, but Leo was somehow offended by what Otavio responded. Was his tone more serious, or was it him? It is not known for sure, but he decided to retort aggressively.

"Woke up without getting your ass fucked again? I'm just kidding man, what's your problem? Fucking ignorant, why that thing drived you so mad?"

Naturally, Octavio would ignore some jokes or just join them, but there was something wrong, it seemed that Octavio was too unstable, more serious as well as more pissed off, more than he would be when there was this change of mood, was Leo psychologically affecting Octavio? No, he normally doesn’t get offended by his jokes.

He then realizes that he's actually a little more upset than usual, so he pulls himself together to try to talk calmly.

"Oh it's just that I'm so fucking tired man, currently my mental isn't very good, I'm trying to get better and I don't want to do that with womens."

"You have to forget about that, it's been over a month and you still haven't recovered. Nothing went wrong for us and neither for you, the guy disappeared, so stop worrying about this fucking thing."

"Don't talk like that dude, he was my friend, but I needed money, I can't not think about it, no matter what I do."

The situation of the conversation got a little tense, anyone would notice it. Esther didn't understand what they were talking about, but she decided to try to break this mood.

"Look, I have no idea what happened, however, if it already happened then it's better to forget it. Leo is right with that, if it's been so long, why worry so much, just let it go, you know."

Esther's words, unlike what she expected, ended up making the situation worse. Nobody wanted to say another word, 7 minutes until the next class starts.

"I think I better go, I'm just wasting time here, my class is about to start soon."

Leo then gets up from his chair and takes Octavio's arm, whispering in his ear.

"If you tell anyone else about this, I'll know and I'll kill you."

That sounded like a threat, even if it wasn't, Octavio then threw Leo's hand away and he started to argue loudly.

"Let go of me, it was you who did a lot of the shit, and the fucking idea was yours."

Leo then unleashed the fury within himself, began to argue too, which drew the attention of most of the people in the plaza.

"Haha, yes I did, you fooled him for 3 days to be sure that this scheme works, and you want to put all the blame on me? Fucking asshole."

"..."

Octavio then found himself cornered, what he said was the truth, he knew that if he hadn't agreed to participate, none of this would happen.

"Can’t you say anything? Because you know… YOU KNOW THAT IT’S TRUE. don't talk shit for me, everyone did something, no one did more and less, now shut the fuck up, that's not something to talk here."

Agonized at not being able to argue against it, he then decides to walk away from Leo, and upon having his vision in a specific part of the plaza, it was possible to see a turmoil and hear a scream.

"KYAAH!!"

The scream echoed from all sides, a woman seemed to be running desperately trying to get away from something. Triggering a domino effect, the rest of the people noticed the same and started to run.

"AAAAH, B-BLOOD!"

"RUN, HE HAS A GUN!"

"GET OUT OF THE WAY."

"SOMEONE CALL THE FUCKING POLICE."

"EVERYONE LEAVES THE COLLEGE."

Octavio, Leo and Esther also started to run, they didn't want to find out what it was, but if there was a reason to run, it was the best thing to do. 'What if it's a shooter?' That was the kind of thoughts that everyone who didn’t see what happened had.

As they ran, there were shots, a total of 5 were fired. Those who were running began to run even more. Octavio looked back and noticed Leo lying on the ground, he had some shots in his legs, but nothing fatal, he thought of helping him but realized that it’s not worth it.

After the shock wore off, he felt an immense pain in his leg, one of the shots hit him too, making him fall instantly. It was possible to see Esther looking back as she ran, noticing the two in the floor, time for her stopped, brief thousandths seemed like years, she decided to run and ignore them.

Leo tried to stand up but couldn't, he was hit in his both legs, looking back, Octavio saw the vision of the death, a hooded man was walking calmly towards him, he had a Revolver in his hand as well as a Pistol in his another, there was blood on his clothing.

From the pistol it was possible to see a simple smoke coming out of it, it seems that he fired exclusively to hit Leo and Otávio, the rest who were also running were unharmed. Leo also looked back and noticed the armed man, he started to get desperate, he tried to stand up again but he couldn't, the pain seemed immense, with the rest of his fury he then began to scream.

"FUCK! THESE SHITS THAT DOESN'T CARE TO PEOPLE, AND THERE WAS THAT BITCH.. THAT BITCH LEFT US TO FUCKING DIE, I SAW HER LOOKING AT US BUT SHE TOTALLY IGNORED ME, WHY... JUST WHY."
