with a small caramel cheesecake, it wasn't much but I sure enjoyed it. I
didn't invite anyone over, just cafe staff. We had sung happy birthday
and woohoo end of birthday.
Then came Halloween, my mom had decorated the cafe for the Halloween spirit.
I'm not sure why but I though it was cute, we had pumpkins lying around, a bowl
of candy for kids, some fun stickers, and my sister asked if she could put out a small
cauldron looking thing filled with green water since she was dressed up as a witch. I
didn't dress up much for Halloween, I just cosplayed as a anime character named, Shira
from "Fire Forks". I had red contacts on, the uniform, but I don't like hats so I didn't wear
one. It was cute still! But before Halloween I worked at the cafe the whole time, didn't go
out at all.
While I was working one day, I saw some skateboarders outside, I was watching them for a bit
and one looked familiar. One had came inside and stood at the counter. I said "one sec please!
We're busy." They had said "Yeah, it's fine. Just been skating around for awhile here since I moved
back and changed career choice and ah- I'm rambling sorry, but I saw this place and it sounded
familiar, So I decided to take a look." I said "Oh alright, no worries by the way, I'm a bit of a
rambler myself." I finished up the order and took theirs. It had been a strawberry boba, with
lychee jelly and light ice. It sounded..also familiar. Well I made it and I looked up and he said
"Keep the change" with a smile. I thought, "it's sleepy! It's really him! He doesn't recognize
me though." I had said "wait-. You stream right?" He said "Yeah I kinda stopped though, I
started skating and I kinda quit on games. You a fan?" I said "well yeah! But you used to
live here right?" He said "yeah what about it? You stalk me or something?" I had said
"well no just..you used to um go here all the time." He said "this is my first time here I really
don't know what your talking about." I said "you don't remember me sleepy?" he had then said
"no, should I know you?" I said, "No, I guess it's a mistake then." He then said "Well, you own this
cafe right?" I said "yes, what about it?" Someone else said "Hurry up! Your holding up the line
mister!" He said "How about I meet back here around 8pm, got it?" I said "sure." He then left
and I continued my day wondering what he wanted.
By 7pm it had been closing time since I wanted an early closing for school and my mom told me
I could. I wondered "what did he want?" I just took my bag to the table and locked up the doors,
and took a seat. I had an exam soon so I crammed my studying, then I procrastinated on my phone..
yeah not very professional.
I had looked outside to see if he was there and I saw ducks following their mother. I had thought
"awe why aren't the ducks asleep though?" I thought it was cute til they fell down a hole in the
ground! My jaw had dropped and I stood up mortified by what I had just witnessed." Sleepy had
then knocked on the glass door. I unlocked and opened the door and said "ah! Sorry I forgot
we closed early today.." He then said "it's fine, now as I was saying, you own this place
correct? So you remember me coming here often.." I said "well yeah, I rather hope you'd
remember." He said "well then, Randy! I didn't say anything before because I was hoping
for a private chat" I had said "and whys that?" He had said "Well, I was hoping I could
perhaps just have a little chat with you, to catch up you know?" And so we talked til 10pm.
On Halloween night I dressed up as Shira and had taken my sister trick or treating. After that I got
on a call with June and his friends and we were all dressed up as a discord party. We all had fun.
Quite cute I'd say. We ate candy, watched horror movies, read thriller comics, and talked.
