When my passenger door opened, I was still laughing at my family making Fay give me an odd look before asking “what’s so funny Cher?” Showing him my phone, I kept laughing as he read through the messages until he reached the one from dad and smirked before asking “wanna get a hotel tonight?” Still laughing, I asked “are you that eager to be with me Cher?”

“To quote you, you bet your sweet Spanish ass I am” making me laugh even more before I slide across the truck wrapping my arms around his neck and kissing him to show him how much I wanted him. As I kissed him, he maneuvered me so I was straddling his hips and deepened the kiss by licking my bottom lip. Sliding back towards the drivers side, he turned and dropped me on my back against the seat grinding against me making me groan and gasp. Breaking the kiss to look at me, he said “you’re beautiful, you know that right?”

Sitting back up, he helped me up before sliding the rest of the way over into the drivers seat and buckling in. Laughing, I handed him my keys before buckling myself in. As he put the truck in drive, he said "I really missed hearing you laugh this week."

"I missed you too babe. It feels so weird to finally be calling you that not that either of us legitimately asked the other out" I laughed looking out the window.

"Well, then I guess we should do something about that shouldn't we. Will you be my boyfriend, Theodore Draven?" he asked in a serious tone. Looking over at him, I said "yes, I will be exclusively yours Lafayette Darcy. Will you be able to handle being exclusively mine?" Laughing, he glanced over at me and said "Cher, I've always been yours so being only yours shouldn't be much of a change."

"That's true. God I want to kiss you so bad right now" I said as he reached over and interlaced our fingers. Kissing the back of my hand, he said "this will have to do for now until we get to the hotel."

"Which one are you taking me too?" I asked curiously as we drove passed several that lined the street.

"We're going to the Eclipse Hotel which if I remember right, caters to the supernatural" he smirked at me as I made an "ahh" sound before adding "you'd be correct in your thinking love."

"Love? I think I like that nickname babe" he laughed kissing my hand again.

"Good because I think I like calling you that" I smiled. A few minutes later we were pulling into the hotel parking lot. Grabbing my sketchbook from where I'd stashed it under the seat, I unbuckled and climbed out as Fay made it to my door. Taking my hand as I closed the door, he interlaced our fingers again as we walked towards the door. Approaching the reception desk, he said "we'd like to get a room for the night please."

"One moment" the fae girl behind the counter said as she clicked on the computer a few times before saying "we have one room with a king sized bed available. Would you be needing any specific dietary requirements?"

"No, I think we're good on that front" he smiled as I nodded in agreement.

"Alright then, here are your room keys. You'll pay at check out tomorrow" she smiled handing us room keys before Fay thanked her and we headed up to our room.

Once we were inside and the door was securely locked behind us, I placed my sketchbook on the table just in time for Fay to turn us around and pin me to the door as he attached his lips to mine. Running his hands up my sides, I gasped when he'd slipped them up to unzip my hoodie. Sliding it off my shoulders, he dropped it on the floor before his hands returned to roaming my body as mine found their way into his hair. Slipping his hands around my thighs, he lifted me up and carried me to the bed without breaking our kiss. A few seconds passed before he did break it. Sitting up, he pulled me up with him as he pulled my shirt off before lightly pushing me back making me chuckle as he climbed back on top me. Reattaching our lips, he kissed me tenderly before breaking it once more to kiss down my neck and chest until he reached my waist band. Pausing, he asked "puis-je aimer?"

Lacing his fingers through my waist band, he gave my pants and boxers a light tug prompting me to lift my hips slightly as he removed them pausing when he caught sight of the bandage covering my mating mark.

"What's this cher?" he asked lightly fingering it. Covering my face with both hands, I took a deep breath and said "it's nothing. Do you remember me telling you that my mating mark turned bright red the day we had our first kiss? Well, it also hurt like hell so to keep my pants from rubbing it I covered it with a bandage. My parents said it was my mark trying to draw me to my mate, not that I knew who they were. Anyway, while I was on my trip it happened again and I just hadn't removed the bandage yet."

"Can I remove it?" he asked still playing with it.

"Sure baby" I said as I felt him peeling up the tape. Glancing at him, I watched as his face changed from no emotion to understanding before finally landing on happiness as he stopped moving for a minute prompting me to look a him and ask "what's wrong, Fay?" Smiling, he got off the bed and moved to where I could see all of him before removing his shirt and slowly undoing his jeans before slowly sliding the right side off his hip to reveal a similar bandage. Peeling it off, he revealed the same series of stars across his hip before saying "that's why you wouldn't tell me why I could feel everything you felt. You suspected as much and didn't want me to chose you because of the mark." Sitting up, I moved to where he was standing between my knees before pulling him closer. Kissing his hip, I said "yeah, that was the working theory and I'm sorry. Apparently, I have a power I didn't know about called Imprinting which caused you to feel everything I felt." Tilting my head back, he said "I don't mind. At least now I know I'm not going crazy. I love you for you Theo. Us being predestined mates is just a bonus" before leaning down and kissing me again. Slipping his jeans and underwear down his legs, I broke the kiss as I reached up to stroke him making him moan into my mouth. Smiling, I broke the kiss pumping him twice more before licking him from base to tip making him gasp before I ran my tongue in a circle around his tip and sucking him all the way into my mouth. “Well thanks love but it's really not that difficult to imagine how it would feel and duplicate it” I smirked again before adding “and you're right, you're my first actual boyfriend not that I haven't slept with two or three other guys before.” Moving to straddle my hips, he pushed me onto my back and smiled as he said “well, I guess I'm going to have to try my hardest to be the best sex you've ever had my sexy mate.”

“Babe, we ain't done nothing yet and it's already been the best night of my life” I chuckled pulling him in for another kiss.
