Read Out the Zone :: I'm not a Hero

As usual I'm riding around the city during a show down between two supers... I have alot of packages to deliver and unlike most, I'm not going to let this stupid fight stop me. I swerved my car to dodge some debris... A normal Thursday honestly..

I should really get payed more..

As I swerved I cursed hitting another piece of debris.. good thing I have the coverage for this but that means... I get out my car ignoring the blood dripping down my face and grab the packages carrying them weaving in and out of the crowd delivering packages.. trying to get to all six zones before I pass out..

The first zone is my least favorite.. The people in zone 1 act all high and mighty and push around those of us from the other zones... I'm sure you're familiar with this so I won't get into it too much.

"Oh look the weakling got hurt again! Maybe you should just quit and stay in your zone." One of the males my age, Oscar "stargate" Hellan, says. He thinks he's all that because he's the son of a famous hero, Sungate.. In all honesty he's a stuck up brat. His father is pretty nice though.

"Catch." I say chunking his package full force it smacking him dead in the face while some of the others laugh.

He shouted something along the lines of his father hearing about it and I just kept walking. I wonder what he would do if he found out I was one of the originals.. I'm just immortal... once I hit 100 my clock resets and I'm registered as an orphan and sorted right back into zone six. Only 2 of the other heroes know at a time and constantly ask me to join them..

I don't feel like they need the powers of an immortal with strength.. anyways.. I am currently 23.. my powers recently resurfaced along with all my memories of my past lives.. so far the only thing I've died of is old age though the zones and city are getting more and more violent... I wonder how much longer I can last..
