Still rather angry at his captain, he got to work and started helping the others. As he stomped in the direction of the rather shady people that were readying the canons, the boat got a really bad hit. It was clear that the ship wouldn’t make it a lot longer.
“WE NEED TO GO OVER THERE” someone yelled in the middle of the hectic crowd.
“AGREED, CREW WE’LL GO OVER TO THE OTHER SHIP, NOW” The, oh so helpful, Capitan added.
Everyone was getting some rope and got ready to swing. As they got closer to the other ship, they got another hit. Johnny was already struggling to hold his balance in all of this.
“Sometimes I really ask myself why I am even in the crew of this jerk” He grabbed onto the first best rope and as the time came, he made a verry elegant swing to the other side. Not like the idiot on his right, that fell and got shot immediately. Suddenly it hit Johnny. Because of all the stress he forgot to get his sabre.
“OM MY LORD COME ON, NOT AGAIN!” He blurted out, obviously upset with himself.
“I ACUALLY LIKED THAT ONE” He punched the next best marine in the stomach and took his, not so cool, sabre. Johnny observed it for a few seconds, took the marine guy down for real and concentrated on the fight again. “I guess that’ll do” He took some time to look at the ship, it was really pretty. It was mostly blue, with a few golden decorations and a lot of different wood variants.

A really tall and rough looking guy took on one of the marines that were all wearing the same light blue uniform. The giant had no chance though, because he only had a sabre and not a pistol like his enemy. The rest of the crew had about the same troubles, and over all it was looking pretty grim.
Everyone was intensely fighting, when suddenly the admiral appeared on the higher decks. He had a verry expensive looking uniform, that had the same colour scheme as the ship. His eyes were light blue and looked like they would be more fitting to a small girl. Also his hair looked verry, interesting, but not in a good way.
“Well well well, if that isn’t Capitan Levi James, haven’t seen you and your outrageously ugly hat in quite some time” Some VERRY intense staring was coming from the side of the Capitan.
“You just really lack a sense of fashion, goldy locks” Now they were equally annoyed at each other and in the middle, both of their crews were weirdly just waiting for commands. Suddenly the admiral was thrown of by something. His gaze went over to Johnny, who was frozen in middle of fighting with someone about twice his size.
“Now you disgusting pirates already force children into your crews? you truly are scum. Gentleman tie those basters up and bring them under deck, were going to take them to the next outpost” It only took a few minutes for the pirates to be defeated. Johnny was really relieved though, he was already thinking that he’d go over the plank.

It was really moist and dark under deck. The only light source were the little gaps between the planks. There was also a foul smell coming from somewhere, it was probably a dead rat or something similar.

A lot of the pirates started to complain and the captain was still especially annoyed because of his insulted hat.
“So the rumours about you really were true” Levi looked over to Johnny
“Don’t put this all on me, this only happened because you are a bad Capitan” The boy was more annoyed than angry and tried to avoid eye contact.
“Tsk, Shut your sorry mouth. But this really can’t be coincidence. You have brought bad luck to every crew you’ve been in jet, and why would your hair be purple? I am telling you, you’re cursed!”

“Look it isn’t my fault that there are so many bad pirates out there, and besides if I wouldn’t have been here today, they would have killed you all.”

“I don’t listen to cursed people, or next I could become cursed myself, WHO KNOWS?”

The boy was obviously feeling a little insulted, but there was one thing that was justified to say. Johnny did look a little unusual. Not only did he have purple hair, but it was also really long for a boy. He always wore it in a pigtail that was so long it could reach his shoulder blades. His eyes were golden, and his overall body built was slender with very long legs.
