The following day arrived. It was already hot in the middle of the day. The royal servants were busy running errands. Even Elyse was preoccupied with investigating the crown prince's imperial command, so she's currently staying in the kitchen, observing suspicious servants once more.

Based on the investigation, which Rouge explained in part to Elyse, spy and assassins are everywhere due to the power struggle between the three princes of the Empire. Through the large glass window in the crown prince palace's kitchen, Elyse can see the servants and knights. Apart from the crown prince, everyone in the palaces was busy preparing for the arrival of the second prince, who had won the war. And a large number of servants, including Imperial Knights, are constantly moving around the area.

If we were talking about a large number of servants, it was a rare sight. Only Elyse and Rouge, as well as five cooks who only work in the kitchen, remain in the crown prince's palace. It was stated that the crown prince did not want any noise in his surroundings.

Elyse walked through the kitchen and spoke with one of the cooks. "The crown pince will eat once more in his workplace. Could you please give me the crown prince's food because I was ordered to serve it?" She simply cast a glance at the head maid, whom she had previously found suspicious, and smiled innocently.

Everyone simply smiles back. Elyse's smile was enthralling and endearing. It's simple to sway people in her favor.

"Y-you're the crown prince's personal servant, right? The one who just arrived here in the palace?" One of the cooks inquired; it was a man, blushing and with a curious expression.

Elyse's smile widened even more. Heh. She still has a lot of charisma and spice, doesn't she? "... Yes, the crown prince found me and took me because I had been abandoned on the street. I was worried that people would take advantage of me and sell me, so I'm grateful that the crown prince gave me a job inside the palace..." Elyse's fake tears fell, and she sobbed softly while wiping them away with her bare hands.

Her acting truly enchanted the three cooks. They appear to sympathize with her. Her acting did not fail her, despite the fact that she was terrible at it, and she was grateful that they bought it. But someone piqued her interest. It was the one who was busy preparing the crown prince's meal. Her arms and hands trembled as she prepared the foods.

Elyse's vision became more intense. Very suspicious! " Thank you so much for your concern and sympathy." Elyse smiled at them once more. "But... is the food ready yet? The crown prince may become enraged as a result of the delay."

The young girl who was preparing the food was taken aback.

"Y-yes, it's done," the servant says as she hands Elyse the meal. 

Elyse looks at it for a moment. Then she curses in her head. If this food contains poison, she will die before the crown prince. Of course, no one knows what her true job is because it is only known to Elyse, Rouge, and the Crown Prince.

She must create a situation in which these foods are discarded.

"Is there something wrong?" One of the cooks inquired, concerned.

"I just felt a little dizziness, but I can keep walking..." Elyse swayed slightly as she began walking.

"Don't worry about it..." Elyse literally fell after getting tripped on her own walk after saying that. 'How stupid are you, girl? It was supposedly a con job! Why would you subject yourself to such humiliation?! Ugh.'

Of course, the food got all over the place. "Oh, my God! Have you gotten any burns? The food should be hot! Go get a wet towel!" The oldest cook uttered a panicked utterance.

Elyse stopped the older cook for panicking. "I'm all right. Don't be concerned, but... I'm concerned about the food. I apologize for letting it go to waste." Elyse turns to face the person who prepared the food.

The girl has a clearly panicked expression on her face. "I-all It's right... I-I'll just make a new one..."

'No, you bitch, I'm not going to let you.' "No, it's fine. It must have come as a surprise to you because you worked so hard to prepare it, right? You must be very discouraged... I sincerely apologize." Elyse pretended to be a pity party. Everyone is staring at her.

"T-then! I will be the one to prepare a new meal for his highness, so please be patient." Someone with a similar age to Elyse volunteered.

Elyse smiled brightly at him. She sparkles as she is relieved that she has escaped certain death. "That is very thoughtful of you. Thank you very much."

Everyone exhaled a sigh of relief. Elyse, too. But not the other two people who were with them. Elyse now had a clear idea of who the rats were who were causing her death. 

Elyse just rested while waiting for the new meal, and it didn't take her much longer than expected. "H-here is his highness' food; should I accompany you to deliver it?" He stammered as he focused on Elyse's bright smile. She, too, began to drool when she saw the food.

She almost smirked at the two amusing people who panicked as she walked away. They must have been compensated. They appear naive for a spy.

She hmm-ing happily, mission accomplished. This is very different from her previous work, but she's having a great time if she just ignores the fact that she might lose her life in this kind of fun.

When she arrived, she knocked on the door of the crown prince's chamber. "I have arrived with your meal, Your Highness. May I enter?"

Elyse went inside and was surprised to see the Prince half-naked, with water droplets still falling on the floor and on his body. The Prince was busy drying his wet hair. Half-naked. Right in front of her.

Because of the sight in front of her, she drooled more than usual. What a sight to see. She will finally be able to die in peace after she saw this hunkiness in front of her.
