Zhan Chen was studying the art of flower arrangement when he heard the buzz around the household. Blinking his round eyes, he looked outside of the window and saw the servants running here and there urgently.

Glancing at his teacher, he asked in confusion. "Teacher Xi, is someone important came today?"

Teacher Xi, the flower arrangement art teacher, a ger that was hired by his parents, blinked his eyes in confusion as well. "I don't hear anything about someone important coming today."

"Oh..." Zhan Chen stared at the outside and felt his spirit to study going down. He smiled and looked up at Teacher Xi with huge pleading eyes. "Teacher Xi, could we stop today's lesson here? Please! I don't feel well and I need to rest my head."

When he was hired, Teacher Xi had been warned by Lady Bai Xiu Ying. If Zhan Chen didn't feel well, he could postpone the lesson to another day. He sighed and patted the younger ger's head. "If you're not feeling well, we'll stop our lesson for today. Rest well and don't make your parents worry."

"I understand! Thank you, Teacher Xi!"

Looking at the energetic younger ger who was running at a speed of lightning out of the study room, Teacher Xi felt his own head hurt. This young ger already knew how to lie ah! If his parents knew he used his sickness to escape from a lesson... Hm, he wasn't sure how the Bai couple would react since both of them doted on their only child. Silently, he shook his head as he gathered the teaching material to go back.

Meanwhile, Zhan Chen was walking around as the servants busying around him. He looked around as he took a small sweet osmanthus cake from one of the servant's trays. Munching on the cake, he headed towards the cherry blossom pavilion which had became his favorite resting place.

"Hm... I wonder why they're so busy." Zhan Chen talked to himself as he walked. He had tried asking before but the servants were so chaotic with their tasks, they didn't register the young lady at all.

Nearing the pavilion, he saw the familiar back of his father. Smiling, he quickened his steps and called out to the older man. "Father!"

"Xiao Chen, there you are." Bai Jian Yu smiled gently when he saw his ger son energetically running to him.

Zhan Chen was at the steps when he realised there was another person with his father. Stopping, he looked up at the new man and felt those black eyes staring back at him.

The way the man was looking at him made him uncomfortable. He slowly went to his father and hid behind his back. "Father, who's that man?"

Inside, he was cursing the man! Why did the man stare at him like he was some kind of fine steak? Huh?! Is he that delicious? Well, sorry, but he is not a food!

So, no eating him!

Huge round eyes narrowed as its owner glared at the unknown man.

Emperor Xian Long Wei was taken aback when he saw the beauty called General Bai, "Father", resulting him to stare at the ger with quite a heated stare. He inwardly chuckled when the small ger hid behind Bai Jian Yu and glared at him. Although, he was confused to suddenly receive a glare, but, the image produced was too cute!

Ah, his Chen Chen was still cute! Though, he was an adorable beauty now. Yes, that was right. Emperor Xian Long Wei already claimed the ger as his.

Bai Jian Yu heard his son's question, smiled as he pulled Zhan Chen to sit beside him.

Zhan Chen sat uncomfortably as the man kept on staring at him. He narrowed his eyes when he saw the corner of the man's mouth lift a bit.

"Xiao Chen ah, this is Emperor Xian Long Wei." Bai Jian Yu continued to say, "Well, you always call him, Wei da ge."

Emperor?

As in a ruler in this Xian Empire?

Oh, no... It was official, he was going to die. He had offended the highest man and based on what he read and watched, most of the emperors were cruel and would punish anyone who didn't respect them!

"Chen Chen, I'm Wei da ge. I'm not sure if you still remember me..." Emperor Xin Long Wei's voice trailed off as he saw those narrowed eyes turned big with fright before they were slowly filled with tears.

Hm, what's going on?

Confused, Emperor Xian Long Wei said. "Chen Chen, are you okay?"

"I-I'm not okay, Your Majesty." Zhan Chen glanced at his father and forced a smile. "I'm going to rest first, father. Excuse me, Your Majesty."

Emperor Xian Long Wei just watched as the young ger ran away from him. While, Bai Jian Yu looked at his ger son with worry.

Zhan Chen ran to his room without looking back. Reaching his room, he quickly entered and closed the door.

"What the fish!"

Panting and pale as if he was being chased by a ghost, Zhan Chen sat on his bed with trembling body. He was so afraid of offending the emperor that he ran away after he apologised.

"Damn! What if the emperor was offended when I glared at him?" He paled with fright. "He won't punish or worse... Cut my head, right?!"

Doe eyes quickly filled with tears.

There was no way he was going to die when he had arrived at this world for only a week! Besides, he didn't know what happened to his real body or if there was still a body?

One thing for sure, he couldn't die without knowing what in the world happened to him first!

There was a knock on his door and Zhan Chen quickly rubbed his teary eyes on his sleeves.

"C-Come in!"

The door opened and walked in his dear father.. and the Emperor! Zhan Chen paled and felt his tears came back.

Forgive him for being a crybaby, but he didn't want to die young ah!

Bai Jian Yu walked to his son's bed and sat down next to the youth. "Xiao Chen ah, what happened? Do you feel sick?" He asked as he stared into his son's red teary eyes. "Did you hurt yourself anywhere?"

Shaking his head, Zhan Chen spoke quietly, as he tried not to look at the emperor. "I'm fine. I'm just tired and I want to sleep."

"Are you sure, Xiao Chen? Father, can call the healer for you."

Zhan Chen mumbled quietly, "...I'm sure, Father. I just need some sleep."

Sighing in worry, Bai Jian Yu said, "Then, you sleep. Wei da ge is worried about you that he is following me here. I will let the servant wake you up when it's dinner." Bai Jian Yu smiled worriedly at his ger child and patted his head lovingly. Standing up, he beckoned the other man. "Come, Long Wei. We should let Xiao Chen sleep."

Emperor Xian Long Wei didn't move and Bai Jian Yu looked puzzle. "Long Wei?"

"Uncle Bai, can I speak to Chen Chen? It has been long last I meet him." Emperor Xian Long Wei smiled to reassure the older man. "I just want to talk a little bit. I won't interrupt his rest."

Zhan Chen immediately paled. His expression was very ugly when he saw his father leaving him alone with this savage man!

Help! He doesn't want to die yet!
