Amani is in shock. This man was very famous. On top of that, he was a Pillar of Fawn. Sahar asked where the dragon had walked off to. In the midst of her intense conversation with Lando, the dragon had slipped away. Amani confirms that she didn't make it far due to her blood loss. Then…
“FWOOSH FWOOOOSH FWOOOOSH”
Without warning Lando leaps high into the air and begins to launch fireballs their way. Amani responds by manifesting a gigantic transparent shield. Amani’s shield reflects the fireballs back towards Lando. He absorbs the return fire and dashes towards Shula. As he is flying through the air he begins to transform. His arms turn into fiery wings and his legs become bird like, equipped with sharp talons. He becomes a Phoenix. Amani stops him in his tracks again with her shield. Lando is starting to get annoyed.
“My shield is the perfect defence for dealing with people stronger than me! I don't care who you are, this thing’s sturdy as hell!”
Sahar is in the air at this point darting towards Lando. She tries to land a punch on him, but instead of hitting a solid person, she goes through Lando’s body and catches fire.
“SAHAAAAAAAAAARRRR!”
Lando looks around and notices that Shula is out of sight. Amani uses this split second opening to manifest her shield right on top of Lando forcing him into the ground.

When Angel arrives at the Inn, it is completely engulfed in flames. He’s worried about Ren but isn't confident in his ability to go into a burning building as big as this one. He notices Akira and Rashid at the front of the Inn preparing to walk away. He calls out to them. Akira is startled while Rashid's face lights up at the sight of a familiar face.
“Look Akira! Their not dea-”
Akira interjected.
“HEY THERE ANGEL ME AND RASHID WERE JUST THINKING OF A WAY TO SAVE YOU GUYS IN THIS BUILDING HERE GLAD THAT YOU’RE OKAY!”
Angel and Rashid both looked at Akira disappointingly. Angel brung up that they were walking away when he got there. Akira had swiftly cut him off to discuss his suspicions about the fire.
“I don’t think the demons did this.”
Angel agreed. Rashid told Angel that they had been trying to figure out who caused the fire, but something of this scale this fast was ridiculous. Akira asked Angel where Ren was. Angel pointed to the building.
"WHAAAAT!" Akira shouted.
Rashid speaks up "I think he might still be alive actually."
Angel and Akira look surprised.
"What do you mean?" Angel asks.
"Did you guys notice a few minutes ago that we couldn't be set on fire? What if Ren left the building after noticing that as well?
Akira follows up “Wait, isn’t a sign of the demons usually a disappearance?”
“Yea but there’s too many people on the streets right now” says Angel. He looks up at the sky and sighs.
"Let's pray Rashid is correct. Though I don't like the idea, I'll go into the building to check for him."
Akira and Rashid are baffled by Angel's decision.

Ren was wandering around with his hair down wearing nothing but pajama pants.
‘What the hell kinda nightmare is this? Am I in hell? One second I'm in bed on fire and the next I'm perfectly fine. This must be a dream, everytime I reach for the fire it repels off of my hand. Maybe I can shock myself awake.’
Ren runs into a burning building nearby trying to wake himself up, only to tumble into the nearby woods. After dusting himself off and realizing that he hasn’t woken up, he begins to ask questions about his situation.
“THIS IS REAL?! WHAT IS GOING ON THEN?! WHY IS ZERO ON FIRE?!”
As Ren is freaking out, he hears the bushes he tumbled through rustle.
‘Is this a demon?’
At this point, there is a shadowy figure with horns standing behind him. All Ren could hear now was the fire burning through the buildings of Zero, and a low growl behind him. He slowly turned around to see a creature he had never seen before. It was Shula. He was very surprised not to see the same creatures that had taken Momoko and Hisa away.
‘This is unlike anything I’ve ever felt. It's almost as if I can Identify the essence of another living thing. I can tell that whatever is in front of me is scared of me yet angry at me. Wait, is the smoke from her chee-, are those tears?”
Shula stares at Ren with eyes whitened with a confused rage, her growl getting a little louder with each step. Ren calms himself down enough to speak.
“Are you the one who started the fire?”
Shula stops for a moment. It had just dawned on her that she completely lost control earlier. She had been so interested in seeing humans for so long, but her interactions with them had been terrible. She begins to growl more and resumes stomping towards Ren. He asks another question.
“Why are you crying?”
Shula stops again. Her emotions had been all over the place for the whole night. But with that question, there was only one emotion in her heart now; sorrow. She fell to her knees and began sobbing saying that she never meant to hurt anybody. Ren was still freaked out a bit by how she looked, but he found the demons more creepy so he decided to talk to Shula.
‘This isn’t what attacked Momoko Town. I should regroup with Angel, knowing him he’s probably already figured out what's going on.’
Shula made an attempt to apologize while crying.
“I’M SOBBYYYYYYY!”
Ren was still more confused than anything.
“Don’t worry about it, this isn’t even my town. But hey, what are you anyway? And what happened to the town?”
“I BWON’T BWANT TO BEMEMBWER IT ANYMWORE!”
“Remember what?”
All shula could think about for the past month was Jafar. There wasn’t a day that passed where he wasn’t on her mind. He was her only family. The only person in the world who cared for her that strongly. She started crying even harder. Ren began to empathize with her.
“It’s okay if you don’t want to remember. Sometimes things hurt to remember.”
Shula’s crying calmed down a bit.
“I lost my family when I was 13, your crying reminded me of mine when that happened. There hasn't been a day that went by where I didn’t think about it. I was too young and too weak to do anything about it, so I just...cried.”
Shula’s cries turn into sniffles. Ren pats Shula’s head.
“It’s okay to cry, strange horned creature.”
Shula looks up at Ren, “I am dragon.”
Ren chuckles. “More like a lizard, I don’t see you flyi-”
Shula jumps at Ren and hugs him tightly. She was no longer crying, and her face looked relieved.
