Karma(Vigilante Deku)

Chapter 3: Eraserhead

Chapter 3: Eraserhead

Nov 03, 2021

"So you must be Karma." Izuku turns around only half changed to see a scruffy looking man with messy black hair that goes passed his shoulders. He's wearing all black except for the huge scarf that sits on his shoulders and the yellow goggles placed on his face.

"I think this is the part where I arrest you." The man grins. "But if your able to give me a good enough reason on why your in bloodied clothes I might let you off the hook."

Izuku stares at the man in shock, words escaping him. Then he realises that he's half naked and starts blushing like crazy. The man looks on in amusement still waiting for an explanation.

"Uh, I had a nose bleed." Izuku lies.

"Must have been one hell of a nose bleed, I'm surprised you haven't passed out from blood lost." The man answers sarcastically, fully aware that he's lying.

Knowing how terrible of a liar he is Izuku gives up on making an excuse so instead tries to think of a way to run away. "If your gonna interrogate me could you atleast wait for me to finish changing."

"What so you can run away." Well their goes my only chance of escape Izuku thinks. "If your gonna change then go ahead, we're both men here." This makes Izuku blush even more but having no choice he continues changing.

As Izuku is putting on new clothes there's a long and awkward silence and the man continues to watch him the entire time to make sure he doesn't escape.

"I'm surprised you haven't killed me yet."

"Huh-" The man's words catch Izuku of gaurd causing him to stare at him with utter shock.

"Well considering how easily you can kill all those people, one person like me shouldn't be a difficult obstacle." The man explains. If he said he didn't notice the look of pure distraught on the boys face he would be lying. "I saw you kill all those men so I'm 100% sure that your Karma."

"I am Karma, there's no way of me getting around this I get that but that doesn't mean I'd kill you." The man's face morphed into a look of confusion for a split second before turning back to his previous emotionless state. "I don't know what you think but it's not like I enjoy killing, plus you have nothing to do with me or my goals."

"I'm getting in the way of your goals, isn't that reason enough." The man looked on his face not showing a shred of emotion.

"Nearly everyone has someone that they love who is waiting for them back home and I'd hate to take that away from them but they turned children into objects to be sold and I can't tolerate that. You have people waiting at home for you as well and I'd rather not take you away from them even if that's the risk your job holds." Izuku tells him staring at him straight in the eye.

Shota sighs and let's down his emotionless mask to form a little smile. Even if the kid was a murderer he still understood the value of life more than anyone and Shota appreciated that.

"I'm Eraserhead but you can call me Aizawa, I'm an underground hero and I work at UA, so would you care to tell me your name?"

"Like I would tell you that. The hero commission has been trying to figure out my identity for years now and I'd rather not ruin that." The kid returns his smile.

"Fair enough, could you atleast tell me your quirk or something." The kid shakes his head.

"If you don't want to call me Karma you can go ahead and call me Deku, that's what my boyfriend calls me anyway." Shota raises an eyebrow and the boy just shrugs in response his smile still plastered on his face. "The police are going to be here soon so do you think you could let me go now."

"Follow me and we'll both leave this place together, I still have things I want to ask you." The kid sighs but follows knowing he has no choice.

The duo jump across buildings for a few minutes till they're a considerable distance away from the factory and settle in another alleyway. The kid takes of his backpack and sits on the floor making himself comfortable. Shota remains standing back towards the wall and stares at the green haired boy sitting infront of him.

They stay like that in silence for a while till Shota finally speaks up. "How old even are you, you look like a nine year old."

"I'm nearly 15." The kid snaps clearly pissed. He realises what he's done and once again starts blushing like crazy before calming back down. "Sorry."

"You just revealed a valuable piece of information that will help us track down your identity you know." Shota retorts.

Izuku sighs looking like he's done with the world before saying, "It's not like it matters anyway you already know what I look like so my identity should be revealed sooner or later."

A minute of silence passes as the boy looks dejectedly at the ground.

"I won't tell anyone."

"Huh-" The kid exclaims, caught if guard by the hero's word's once again.

"I said I won't tell anyone." Shota repeats. "If you ended up getting arrested child trafficking cases would only increase again anyway. I don't know how you do it but it's pretty hard to get any solid information for cases like these." Shota crosses his arms and watches the kid carefully as he looks up, contemplating the hero's words.

"Well when I was younger it was easy enough to get myself kidnapped by staying in alleyways." He says deciding to give the hero some information. "Everything was easy after that. Although there's definitely someone higher up behind all these cases since they always seemed to be able to find a file on me if I told them my name, the fact that they keep files anyway should be proof enough."

"So their really is someone in the government in charge of all the trafficking, good to know." The hero nods then bends down to become level with Izuku. "But if that was when you were younger how do u get your information now."

"That's for me to know and you to never find out." The kid looks up at him with a playful smile on his face.

It was almost hard for Shota to believe that the same child was a vigilante who has killed hundreds. Looking closer at the boy he was actually adorable, kind of like a cat. Cats are fluffy and cute but in reality they're fierce and smart, exactly like the boy sitting infront of him. The hair reminded Shota of a cat as well, wild and untameable like a stray. Shota loved stray cats, they were especially smart and he loved the development of there relationships as they started to gain his trust. Not to mention that he had a weak spot for those who have been abandoned and mistreated, he always had the urge to protect them no matter what. That's exactly why it broke Shota's heart that such a young boy has been murdering since he was a small child. Its pretty obvious that this boy must have been abandoned by his parents, it's a known fact that there's a good chance he's always been neglected even before he was kidnapped by traffickers. The fact that he looked way too small for his age broke Shota's heart even more, it just showed how malnourished he is. That's why Shota wanted to protect what was left of the kids innocence no matter what.

"Can I have your phone number, I'd like to keep in contact with you." Shota asks, the kid looked sceptical for a while but soon gave in and decided to give it to him anyway. "I'll give you my private number so you can reach me at anytime if something happens."

"If something happens I can handle it myself."

"Yes but now that you have me you don't have too." Shota genuinely smiles and Izuku looks for any sign to prove that he was being deceived, finding none he completely lets done his guard and smiles back.

"I guess you have a point."

"Over here Kacchan!" Katsuki turns around following the direction of the familiar voice till he sees his just recently turned boyfriend shoving through the crowd and making his way to him.

"What took you so long I've been here waiting for a while now." He bit back but deep down they both knew he didn't really care in the slightest, he'd wait any amount of time if it meant he could see his precious Izuku again.

"Sorry Kacchan, yesterday's job was Chaotic." He told him.

Katsuki was aware of his boyfriends secret identity, he's been aware ever since he was 9 years old and was saved by that same familiar mop of green curls that he thought had followed his mum to America three years ago.

Izuku was unable to say goodbye to anyone before his mum had sold him off to the traffickers which Katsuki had taken personally. Katsuki wasn't exactly the nicest to Deku growing up but the nerd always seemed to follow him no matter what stupid thing Katsuki did or said. He knew that there was no reason for Deku to say goodbye to him considering the things he did but he thought that their friendship meant much more to Deku than it ever did to him. He realised how much he had taken advantage of their friendship.

It all turned out to be a misunderstanding though, Deku had promised to tell him everything after he had found the files so Katsuki wouldn't go blabbing about him to the police. It took a while for Katsuki to be free from all the fuss that came with the aftermath of being rescued but Izuku waited, he could have ran away while Katsuki was occupied but he didn't. Katsuki soon realised that it was because the greenete still treasured their friendship. The realisation only made him regret all the poor choices he made when Deku was still around even more. He regretted pushing him away,  the only person who actually admired him from the bottom of his heart, the only person who wouldn't suck up to him when he was around then talk bad about him when he wasn't. He regretted only realising it when he did, when Izuku was no longer the same Deku from all those years ago.

"What happened?" Katsuki asks focusing back on his boyfriend happily walking along side him.

"Well only one person had the key for the files but nobody knew where that person was so it took a while to locate them but I did eventually." Katsuki nods along as they walk up to a store that caught his attention. "But after that when I was changing out of my bloodied clothes an underground hero found me." This made Katsuki stop and look at the boy still happily walking along yet to realise that his boyfriend was no longer by his side.

"Was it after you finished changing or while?" The greenete finally realising that Katsuki had stopped turns around.

"That's what you care about." Deku says as he skips back over to Katsuki, reaching for his hand while he was at it. Katsuki glares at the boy but knowing that it holds no ill intent the boy only laughed. "I wasn't finished changing yet and he was totally set on not taking his eyes off me so I wouldn't run away, had to finish infront of him."

They had started walking again, fingers intertwined. Katsuki was absolutely fuming meaning that he cared. Izuku smiles.

"But that's not even the most important thing."

"What could be more important than that." Katsuki knew the correct answer to that question but he didn't care, he was to angry to care about anything else at that moment.

"I told him I'm Karma."

Katsuki freezes once more and stares at his boyfriend like he's absolutely mental."Well why the fuck would you do that." Katsuki says calming down slightly and starts walking again.

"He saw me take out all those people so there was no use lying. It's fine though cause he promised not to tell anyone."

"And you believe him." Katsuki looks skeptical so Deku flashes him a smile to reassure him.

"He works for UA so he isn't obligated to tell anyone." He says, like that answers the question.

"How does that change anything."

"UA doesn't have to abide by normal laws so they're kind of like an independent part of the country, but in return UA has no say in the laws of the country. So in other words aren't allowed to vote or go against current leaders." He says all bubbly and happy.

"How the hell did they manage that."

"Apparently its all so the principle can't interfere with the country." Izuku says, he's skipping now.

"Even if the underground hero has no reason to tell anyone that doesn't mean that he won't." Katsuki points out steering the conversation back to the hero.

"I think he's trying to gain my trust so I can help him out in the future. The hero is known for sometimes working with vigilantes, he even gave me his private number."

"He what! And you just took it?" Katsuki's previous rage bubbles back out making Izuku laugh.

"Don't worry, when I read his memories I saw he has a husband." Izuku says once more quelling his boyfriends anger.

They continued on walking and looking through stores together as they laughed and embraced each others presence till late into the night.

Since the arrival of All Might crime rates have decreased significantly in Japan, but there's still one problem hero's are unable to do anything about. Corruption in the government has led to the increase of child trafficking, so much so that any child is lucky to not have been kidnapped by the age of 6.

What hero's are unable to do though is easily done by the vigilante Karma, a hero to the people. Unbound by the law he can freely try to put an end to this rein of terror, that is if he doesn't get caught.
