We knocked on Ms. Commerce's door, it swung open on its own. “So, how can I help you, kids?” She asked with a wide grin.
“My familiar.” I started, “He says his name is Horus. As in the Egyptian Sun God.”
“Well that’s not right, Familiars can’t talk.” she corrected.
“Oh, right! I guess it was more like flashing images in my mind. I saw Pyramids and the sun, so I figured Egyptian Sun God Horus. Right Horus?” I questioned smiling at him. He nodded and screeched in response.
“Hm,” she pondered, standing up and investigating Horus, “Well he doesn’t look very strong. But maybe it only works if you’re in danger. Keep him in his familiar form, not the ring form, just to see what happens.”
“Ok, got it.” I grinned. We waddled off to flying class, “Will you be my partner?”
“Sure, who else are you gonna pair with anyway cutie.” she smiled, ruffling my hair.
“Yea, I guess you’re right.” I jumped onto her back, “I’m tired, carry me.” I ordered, “Please.”
“Sure.” I crashed while I was on her back, dreaming once more.
I was in the field once more, “Andy?” I asked.
“What’s up C.J?” she responded.
“We’re in the field again.” I frowned.
“Yup, that we are. Why are we in your dream field again?” she asked me this time.
I guess she understands that it’s a thing that I’ve created. “In the real world, I’m on Andreas back. She’s carrying me to class.”
“Ah, is that why you’re on my back then?” she laughed.
“Probably, although it seems that whenever I am with Andrea this happens. Or I guess not with her, just sort of, specific things. Like when she called me C.J, and now.”
“Eh? Someone other than me calls you C.J?” she asked angrily.
“I guess so. Although, I don’t actually know who you are.” I laughed.
“Hm, true. Maybe you’ll find out soon.” she smiled, dropping me.
“I guess we’re here. Let’s talk again, bye Andy!” I exclaimed, waving at her.
“See ya around C.J!” she responded. I opened my eyes and found myself in Andreas' lap.
“Welcome back.” she greeted.
I shot out of her lap, “H-Hi, thanks.” I managed to say. She yanked on my wrist, pulling me back into her lap, “Hey! Let me up!”
She bit down harshly on my neck, “No.” she growled out.
“Ah!” I moaned.
“So cute,” she mumbled, continuing to bite me.
She kept biting on my neck, leaving a lot of marks. “Ngh, mg.” I moaned as she continued. “C-class, it’s s-starting soon, are y-you done?” I questioned.
She completely pulled back, allowing me to get up, “Yup.” she smiled, ruffling my hair some more. “Sorry, you okay?”
I rested my hands over my bite-ridden neck, “I-It’s fine. D-do you know an h-healing spell?” I questioned.
“Nope, you’re stuck with it.” she grinned.
I gave her a submissive look and whined “P-please?” I whimpered.
She groaned, “Fine. I know one.” She placed her hands on my neck, making me shudder, and chanted something under her breath. “All done cutie.”
“What do you think, Horus, is it gone?” I asked the Phoenix. He screeched and shook his head no. “Huh? But you said that it was fixed.”
“Well, I have to leave one. I don’t want other people trying to get into your pants.” she laughed.
“Ugh, I don’t get you.” I groaned.
She patted my head again, “I just don’t want anyone else touching you.”
I felt my face go red, “Don’t say things like that, I’ll misunderstand.” I turned my head to the side. “And stop messing up my hair. Oh, everyone’s here for the class.”
“Yeah.” She agreed in a solemn tone.
“Okay class, please partner up. You all know how to control the magic you input into your brooms, so now just have some fun.” She grinned.
I leaned over to Andreas' ear, “when did we learn that?” I questioned.
“When you were in your short-lived coma.” she laughed quietly.
“Haha, okay. Thanks.” I responded sarcastically.
Sylvia walked up to me, “You have a mark on your neck.” she murmured.
“I know, frickin’ Andrea.” I groaned.
“Uh, wh-” she was cut off by the teacher.
“You girls in the back, stop talking and get on with it!” the teacher ordered, for everyone else had already started riding and such.
I nodded, I thought of a magical broom and the summoning spell. It appeared just before, dropping into my hand, “Cool, you gonna teach me how to do that magic regulation thing?” I asked with slight confusion.
“Uh, oh jeez. You are really gonna struggle with this. You’re much too strong.” she patted my head.
“Well, c’mon. At least tell me how then I can try!” I whined.
“Okay, think of it like a pot of water filling up. You don’t want it to fill up too much because if it does, then you’ll make a mess. Similar to magic, if you use too much magic you’ll go too fast. And crash or whatever. So just focus on making sure the pot doesn’t fill up too much. Understand?” She explained.
“Uh, okay. I suppose, maybe, lemme just, um. Just gimme a sec.” I mumbled. I placed the broom on the ground and ordered it to rise. I jumped onto it, “Okay, so just focus on not using too much magic.” I gave it a kick and thought of a pot with a very small amount of water, I opened my eyes and found myself going very slow, “Haha, It worked! Sweet!” I exclaimed with a smile.
“Great, that’s actually really good. Just, um, ya know try going a little faster.” Andrea offered, walking next to me because I was going so slow. There’s a forest that surrounds the school, it’s very large. Around the perimeter of the school, there’s a shield of sorts that stops humans from seeing the school. But we’re right by a city, people just see a really big forest instead of a beautiful school.
