"Luna! You really gotta wake up now!" my eyes fluttered open to see some sort of beak in my face. Crow was next to me, clearly terrified & shaken. "Cheshire, down." I heard Angie said, but that was when I saw the issue. Cheshire wasn't a normal bird... Cheshire was a griffon. It had a large lion-like mane around the neck; or would you call that plumage? There was a cream colored belt around the animals neck along with four different colored anklets. It's wings were a pretty grey ombre color & it glared at me with peircing yellow eyes. "Cheshire... now honey." I smelled something cooking & looked around. We were in a little hut like place; Crow tapped my shoulder. "Where are we...?" I stood up, as did Crow; to see him in such a vunerable state was scary. Angie looked at me with a half smile. "Hey. Glad you're finally up. We gotta talk. & yes, that includes you too Crow." with a wave of a hand, a wooden table appeared from thin air. "Sit, please." Angie's tone had changed again... she seemed very motherly now. "So... how much does he know? About what you are I mean." she questioned. Crow gave me a look. "What... what is she talking about? & a-a-are we really gonna ignore the whole ass griffon that was here earlier!?!" I sighed deeply. "He doesn't know anything... I haven't said a word." Angie sat at the table, setting down a large pot of some sort of soup & three bowls. "L-Luna, what the hell?" I couldn't look at Crow. Angie gave a remorsefull look as she poured us each a bowl. "Oh... I'm sorry Luna. I assumed he knew, especially after Scortch took him over. Well, in that case.---- ..... -....- ..--- -....- .---- ---.. -....- / -....- ..--- ----- -....- ...-- -....- -.... -....- / -....- .---- ...-- -....- ...-- -....- ----. -....- / -....- ....- -....- .---- ----. -....- -.... -....- --... -....- ..--- ...-- -....- --... -....- ---.. -....- .---- ----. -....- ..--- -....- ---.. -....- / -....- ...-- -....- ..--- -....- ..--- -.... -....- ...-- -....- ...-- -....- ..--- ..... -....- .---- ----. -....- -.... -....- --... -....- / -....- .---- ..... -....- --... -....- / -....- .---- .---- -....- .---- ----. -....- ..--- -.... -....- ..--- -...., let me introduce myself properly." Shapeshifting wasn't good enough to explain what Angie did, but it's the only word that comes close. Her skin color remained the same, but her eyes became golden color & her pupils became slitted. Brown cat like ears emerged from her head & bits of fur became visible on her face & arms. A long black snow leapord shaped tail was waving slowly; massive bat wings were emerging from her back as she gave a toothy grin. I heard Crow give out a worried squeak & felt a sudden, tight grip on my arm. "My name is Athropoda Chordata Mollusca Cnidaria, goddess of animals, here & gone. But you know me Angie Hawkmoth. You actually gave me that name." she says looking at me. I felt the blood drain from my face. "G-Goddess...? But ho-" something fell & I noticed Crow standing up, freaking out. "WHAT THE F-" "Hush. Just relax & take a seat..." Angie said; Crow fell silent, sitting back down with a glazed over look. "Sit... good boy. Try some soup... it should help relax you." Crow slowly ate a spoonfull of soup; it smelled pretty good, I'll admit. I tried a small amount & was surprised... it tasted like grilled cheese with smoked gouda cheese & honey wheat bread. That was the first meal Demi ever made for me. I reveled in the taste, scooping large amounts into my mouth. "Luna, you gotta tell him." I gave Angie a crazy look, nearly choking on the food.
"Wha-no way!"
"Seriously!?! Why not!"
"C-Cause of the past!"
"What about it?"
"He doesn't & shouldn't know about the past!"
"You can drop the act now Luna."
"What act!?!"
Angie gave an agitated growl. "Just-Just share the important parts with him ok?" she sighed. I gave her an odd look. "W-Wait, how do I-" "Common sense it. How else would you do it?" she says. I was still lost. "You're honestly thinking way too hard about it." she says, leaving the table. I look at my hand & place it on Crow's forehead; with a deep breath, I thought back on my past, envisioning it as being transfered into Crow's head. I thought of the first day I realized my life wasn't normal. I thought of Mommy. I thought of all the kids I knew. I thought of the adults... & Father. I thought of the day I was rescued. I thought of the first time Demi said she would take me home. I thought of the day she got full custody over me. Somehow, I felt something else too... I saw memories that weren't mine. Then it clicked; these were memories Crow had. I saw him as a little kid, running around with an airplane toy. I saw him the day his parents brought his brother home. I saw... oh man. I saw his dad beating the living daylights out of him. I saw Crow looking at his own bleeding arms as cuts lined the wrists. I saw a scene of probably a few years later, where he had his dad on the ground; good for him. I saw him the day he met... me. He was staring in awe & I saw myself glance & give a small wave. I saw himself trying to relax in the bathroom. I saw him in our occasional talks. I saw him in fights. Then I saw the day we were paired up in class, but I felt his emotions; I felt his heart flutter & his breahting quicken. I slowly took my hand away & Crow looked at me, the glassyness in his eyes gone. There was so much anger, sorrow, pain & disgust in his eyes. "You... you went through all that...? Heh, damn." he muttered. "Makes my life look like a cakewalk." Angie seemed satified with that. "Great. This means we can-"

In the time it took me to blink, Crow & I were back on the street in front of our school. It was like only 5 minutes had passed. "W-What the hell...?" Crow said, equally as confused. I flicked Crow's arm & he jumped, proving that this wasn't some trick. "Did you do t-" I shook my head no. "That wasn't me... I... I'm not sure how we're back." he huffed. "Let's just go home & rest alright?" he says, walking towards the gym. "You coming?"
