"Asagao!  Can you clean up the kitchen for me? I need to rest these old bones!" Tentia shouted to Asagao in a cheerful voice. 

Tentia has been getting really weak & frailer for the past couple of months, so Asagao has helped her with cooking, cleaning,  & groceries, also with washing clothes since Tentia has been having sharp pains in her hands lately...not even Asagao's healing powers could work, it made her sad seeing Tentia in so much pain.

" Tentia! I'm finished cleaning up! Tentia?" Asagao had a worried look on her face, Tentia had not answered her back, she feared the worse...but as she ran to her room, Tentia was fast asleep with a book on her lap, the book she's alway read when she was younger, Asagao smiled gently at Tentia...she climbed onto the bed and layed next to her, she felt as if she knew her for a long time.

 She never ever wanted to leave. Winter is finally here, Asagao has never seen snow before! On her planet it only rains once a year,  so seeing snow is something strange to her. Tentia giggled at Asagao, she couldn't believe that a child so young had never seen snow...Tentia found it very strange that it never snowed on Asagao's planet. From the stories she told Tentia it was very odd indeed. Tentia began to cough uncontrollably, her lungs felt like they were gonna fall apart, she fell out of her chair still coughing and breathing very heavily, she needed to get back in the house immediately! Asagao threw the snowball down and ran over to Tentia to help her get into the house.

" She's very sick! She might not live much more...there's nothing more I can do for your grandmother...child."

The Doctor said in a concerned tone. Tentia was looking more frail than she usually does, skin was very pale, eyes were filled with pain and sadness. Asagao began to tear up seeing her dear friend in pain knowing that she wasn't going to live much longer it scared her, she will be all alone again and have to find another place to live....Asagao stayed by Tentia's side all night, Tentia gave her a weak gentle smile, she appreciated how hard working Asagao was.... at just 7 years old at that! The next morning Tentia opened her eyes and looked up at the ceiling, she was still in a lot of pain...she looked at her to see Asagao sleeping so peacefully, she gently touched her face and smiled at how adorable she looked. Tears slowly streamed down to her cheeks, she knew she wasn't going to live much longer and she didn't want to leave Asagao all alone either.....it hurt her so much. Asagao got up to make soup for Tentia. While Asagao was making the soup, Tentia sat up and leaned over to her little table next to her to grab the pen and paper. She was writing a farewell letter to Asagao, she didn't have much time so she quickly wrote a short letter to her:

Dear Asagao,

Thank you so much for these past couple of months! You're such a sweet young girl, so polite and hardworking! You have made my days so bright...I think of you as a granddaughter! But it is time for me to say farewell to you my dear, my time here is done! I will be watching over you and I hope you'll be able to reunite with your family soon! I love you Asagao, thank you for loving a frail old hag like me!

Tentia gently put the pen down, her breathing was slowing down...it was finally time to go. Tentia closed her eyes with a smile on her face. Asagao was still making the soup, she smiled so brightly knowing Tentia would love the soup! She was done making the soup so she happily skipped down to Tentia's room with the tray, she opened the door seeing her resting, she smiled at how peaceful she looked.

"Tentia the soup is done!" Asagao shouted to her. Tentia didn't respond. Asagao started to panic! Maybe she's a deep sleeper! Asagao said in a worried tone. She walked over to listen to Tentia's heart beat...there was nothing. Asagao started to shake her gently and cry very loudly, but Tentia wasn't breathing nor moving, she had passed away. Asagao started to scream very loudly and hugged Tentia's lifeless body.

" YOU CAN'T LEAVE ME ALL ALONE TENTIA! PLEASE DON'T LEAVE ME!!" Asagao cried out to her. Not even her crying could bring Tentia back, she was gone forever. Asagao went over to the neighbors house to tell them Tentia had died. They had all had sad expressions on their faces, so they planned to have a special Funeral for her.

The Funeral service for Tentia was very touching and sad. She had touched so many people with her kindness and love. Even her own ungrateful daughter showed up crying in pain, she even thanked Asagao for taking care of her mother, Asagao smiled at her & bowed. She then left the service with a numb expression. She wondered where she would live next. Asagao went back to Tentia's house to pack her stuff, then she stumbled across a letter on the little table Tentia used to put stuff on. It was a letter for her, as she read the letter tears began to fall down her face...the letter was sad yet beautiful because Tentia told her she had loved her. Asagao fell to the floor and began to cry more and more.

Asagao put the letter in her bag, she looked back at Tentia's house, she'll never forget her, even if it was for a short time, it made her feel loved and safe. Asagao walked away, she thought to herself " Tentia would want me to go on adventures! So be it! Whatever adventure awaits me, I'll be ready for it! Farewell Tentia, your love will always be in my heart!" Asagao smiled to herself.
