“What are we going to do about the police?” Monroe asked after he ordered the food.

“Not sure yet, but the money we had taken out of the account went back in, we still need to deposit the money we brought.” He told him.

“In the morning, if I feel like it. We still have to deal with the police though. I mean my information attached to the card isn’t going to lead them anywhere close to my house.” 

“Not going to lead them near my house either, or well apartments…” He said thinking of it. “But they have seen our faces… and you kinda are the hero of the day.” He told him thinking about it. 

“Do you think they’ll lead Tyler here?” He asked, a bit afraid suddenly at the thought of that gorilla anywhere near him. Ryan hugged the lump that was him under the blanket.

“I won’t let him near you ever again.”

“What if you’re not there?”

“I won’t be far enough away from you to let him do anything to you.” He told him. He snuggled him through the blankets and he could feel him squirming underneath the blanket.

Monroe put on a bathrobe and then the two sat at the small table to eat, once they were done Ryan threw away the garbage. “I’m going to take a shower.” He told him.

“Alright.” Monroe watched him walk towards the bathroom and quietly followed him, his medication wasn’t working and he knew it. He had at least remembered he had two fresh condoms from the drawer that were stuffed into his robe pockets.
