After 2 days, I decided to go to the Black Forest but it had been noticed that every single person who went there never came back. Especially humans. That deprived me of my armed forces. I had to go alone to the forest.
The forest was too eerie for some humans. It is understandable why they never came back.
Some say they became prey of the demons lurking, some say they settled there.
The hotel was still far, at the end of the forest. I wondered what Lisa was doing. She could have come with me.
No she could not have, my mind corrected. She was human.
Before I could take another step, I was paralyzed with the feeling that I was not alone.
A bunch of "red eyed" people having the look of some zombies slowly stalked towards me. My eyes widened as to how they tracked me down here, and then again, this is their 'place' after all.
I planned to make my magic transform into a sword and lunged forward with it. But what shocked me the most was that the hooded man was there.
Wait, why were all of these so-called weirdos here!? Don't Tell me they knew about my coming to Demurocus!
I injured several of them but it was nearly impossible to finish them all without more men minding my back for any attacks. It was now necessary to make a plan or wait for the worst to deplete all my strength.
And then there was the guy in front of me, creating more of them. If I try to kill all of them, then it would take really too much time! I decided it would be in a warrior’s best interest to cut the head of the snake - to kill the Hooded man.
I was lightning, barely seen jumping from one place to another before I eventually caught the Hooded man under my chokehold. Even with his life all but in my hands, I could see the tell tale of a smirk peeking from the bottom of his hood.
One moment I had the upper hand and the next I was struggling under his twisted grip. He was too strong.
"Kill me and get your precious Louvremont Empire killed,” his whisper was distorted by my fear,"Spare me and keep your empire safe”
