It coasts down, the sun gleaming off of its geometric gunmetal finish. The vapor cone around it dissipates as its thrusters reverse to slow its descent. Pockmarks from perhaps both space junk and space weaponry pepper its hull. The ship itself is shaped like a capital letter H, a bulb in its center for housing whoever it carries and two gargantuan double-sided thrusters on its sides capable of swiveling in a full circle. The two-ended nature of its thrusters allow it to be slowed to a halt at an obscenely unsafe rate. To compensate, the crew bulb can swivel independently to prevent most cases whiplash or severe injury. That’s the idea, at least.
Garren chuckles to himself in excitement as he sees the ship descend- he knows there's only one man in this galaxy insane enough to still pilot that damned thing, and he couldn’t help but feel sorry for his passengers.
Rather than going to any designated landing sight, the ship swerves abruptly in Garren’s direction and slows to a halt just down the road. Its thrusters turn vertical, slowly lowering the beast of a tin can to the ground as its thrusters roar with the volume of a thousand waterfalls. Hovering feet above the ground, the thrusters are cut and the ship slams down with a satisfying THOONK. Now that it’s landed, the decal of a sharp-toothed grin on its crew bulb is now visible. Garren’s smile grew warmer- it had been a long time since he had seen that toothy maw.
Several Kreintans step outside to look at the craft that had screamed itself into existence, but most take to the typical Kreintan reaction to such an event- a head shake and judgemental click of the tongue before returning to their business. A bad parking job is not something to be particularly concerned about.
A satisfied smile on his usually gaunt face, Garren begins a stride in the direction of the H-Ship, or, as its owner called it, The Hark. The crew bulb unlocks itself from the midsections of its dual thrusters and slides down to ground level like a rickety elevator. A crew ramp opens on its backside out of view of Garren, and those on board the Hark exit.
