Excruciating pain. That’s the first thing Tujitou felt as he regained consciousness. A throbbing headache, followed by the nauseating stench of rotten flesh, piss, vomit and feces. He tried his best to hold down his urge to vomit. Tujitou looked around, but couldn’t see much.

“Whe-Where am I?”

The hit caused by the sledgehammer made his vision red and blurry. He tried rubbing his eyes, but only then did he notice that his hands were chained up above him. He blinked to try and clear up his vision. It wasn’t enough to see clearly, but just enough to see his surroundings. He was placed in a dimly lit holding cell. There were no windows in sight. The only light source was the torch that stood outside of the holding cell. He was also able to see that there was another holding cell with 3 other chained-up individuals opposite to him. Due to his vision, he was only able to see that there were 3 individuals, he could not make out who they were. He could then again feel his consciousness getting weaker. He wanted to faint, but the stench wouldn’t let him. He felt so weak that he couldn’t even lift his head anymore, so he let his head roll to the side. He then found the source from which the smell came. Next to him sat a girl. Her eyes were lifeless, blood covered her pale skin and her lips were brown, from what looked to be old blood. Her mouth stood open, just enough to be able to see that there was a piece of meat in it. You could see both of her hands chained up on top of her, but only one was connected to an arm. Tujitou immediately widened his eyes and he could not hold back his urge to vomit. He wasn’t fast enough to turn his head completely around so he ended up puking on himself.

After vomiting Tujitou’s head was able to clear up a bit. It had cleared up enough to be able to hear someone shouting in the distance.

“Are you fucking mental? You dumb mother fuckers kidnapped a fucking unleveled!”

“Sorry boss. We couldn’t just kidnap one and leave the other right?”

“You shut your fucking trap! What am I even going to do with the bitch?”

“Is anybody there?”, Tujitou shouted with all the strength he had left.

“Please! Anyone? Help me! Please! Help me!”, Tujitou then broke down and started crying.

A man then appeared in front of his holding cell. He then stopped crying. Due to his bad eyesight and the lack of light he was only able to see his silhouette. Still, Tujitou was happy to see someone else. A sense of hope started building up in him.

“Please! Please, sir! Help me.”

“Shut the fuck up you worthless pile of trash!”, the small amount of hope Tujitou had build-up was immediately shattered.

“Go and knock him out”, said the man. Right after another man appeared who opened up the holding cell and walked up to Tujitou.

Tujitou looked up at the man standing in front of him and asked him: “why?”. The man just looked down at him as if he was just some bug in his why. Right as Tujitou was about to start crying the man sucker-punched him. Tujitou then again fell unconscious.

A couple of days later right outside of Brague.

A festival was being held. People were singing, dancing and laughing. There wasn’t an inch of Brague that wasn’t decorated. There stood a number of people besides the entrance of Brague.

“You’re the greatest!”

“All hail the great Anderson!”

“A God has descended!”

All cheered for the passing carriage. Inside the carriage sat a well-suited man holding a handkerchief to his nose.

“Stinking peasants.”

“They aren’t all that bad”, said a woman from the communication device Lazerus was holding.

“Then why aren’t you the one delivering this Michele?”, Lazerus looked at the box in front of him.

“Well, you have been compensated a fairly large amount, or am I mistaken?”

“Tch.”

“Plus the king has another mission for you on earth.”

“You know my policy. I don’t work unless I get paid.”

“You’ll receive payment after you successfully finish the mission.”

“Then get to it.”

“There’s a girl who’s been missing for a few days. He needs you to find and bring her back”, Lazerus looked at the file that popped up.

“Anything else?”

“Not even curious to know who she is?”

“Don’t care, as long as I’m well compensated.”

“Well, you sure are a different breed”, Lazarus growled at her taunt.

“Good luck Lazie. Oh and before I go. The king wants you to find her as soon as possible, after all, she is his daughter.”
