Chapter 4- Plotting The Demise
“I’m gonna have a pretty bad hangover!” Lizie laughed rolling around the floor. Me and my friends were all deciding to have a drunk night, just talking to each other. This is the night I’m going to ask for their help, hopefully they don't think I'm crazy for this idea. I took a long gulp of the alcohol, “So guys, guess what I saw yesterday in Asher’s office?” I laughed. I will take partial responsibility for the idea of having a drunk night. People will say crazy things when they're drunk, and agree to ideas easier when they’re drunk. Connor's eyes looked like they were about to shut as he slurred “What? Don’t tell me he’s gay?”. I giggled, drinking some more. “Nooo, I saw a pair of panties there. There also was this old slut who looked like she was just trying to claw her way into Asher's pants. And that dumbass fell for it” I laughed, not knowing if i was too drunk or just not fazed by my anger. What are you supposed to do when someone cheats on you? Ezra said “I always knew he was a cheater, I could just tell, he’s too good-looking.” I raised my eyebrow, did she just call Asher cute in front of me? I wouldn’t be surprised if Ezra decided to get in his pants too. I’m not mad at Asher, I’m mad that Audrey chick, she should be a professional. You should be able to handle your thot impulses instead of being a home-wrecker.
Connor laughed “Violet, you look like you’re thinking about committing a crime.” I smirked at him, how he read my mind, Lizzie slurred “I wouldn’t mind killing that whore!” I smiled. It seems that I didn’t have to tell them my crazy idea, my friends are already crazy enough to think about it themselves, or maybe they’re just being drunkies saying crazy things. I pulled my phone out and went to my voice recorder. If they’re going to be doing this idea with me, I need proof. I didn’t initially think about killing Audrey until I was chopping vegetables yesterday after going to Asher’s office. My mom always told me to kill two birds with one stone. If I kill her,I get my revenge and Asher won’t cheat with her so win win. Asher is such a gullible boy, he doesn’t know any better. That girl was spreading her legs and he couldn’t help but fall right into her dirty trap.
I clicked play on my voice recorder. “So does everyone agree to killing this old hag named Audrey?” I chuckled. All my friends looked at each other. “I agree, let’s kill this hag!” Conner smirked. Lizzie looked at me, she looked really out of it. She was probably going to be too drunk to remember that night. “I agree, I love you Violet and I’ll do anything for you to keep your man!” Ezra laughed, taking a huge gulp of alcohol. I looked at Jason and Lizzie, they were the only ones left. “You know what? You only live once, and I’m really drunk and life is amazing and boring so just for the heck of it, I agree! Let’s be criminals!” Jason said, rolling his eyes back. Lizzie looked at me again. Connor looked at her “Come on Liz, we’re drunk and having fun! Just say yeah!”
Lizzie looked at me “I’m gonna throw up! I don’t feel good, I feel extremely dizzy! But yes I agree, I’ve literally just been trying to hold my vomit back!” We all laughed, I said “I should’ve remembered that Lizzie can’t take alcohol at all, it seems that she has her hangover the same minute she drinks!” I took my phone and stopped the voice recording. My mom trained me well. I used to hate seeing my dad treat my mom the way he did. I always promised myself I wouldn’t let that happen to me. I’m keeping my promise in a way, it’s just I’m going to extreme measures to get there.
“Ezra, is your cousin still a major hacker?” I asked. Ezra nodded and mumbled something. I pulled out the undies from my jean pocket. “See if he can find anything on Audrey Thomas! Here, see if this helps him!” I threw the undies to her, and it landed smack dead on her face. I laughed. Ezra took them off and stuffed it in her pocket “If you’re going to be a homewrecker, at least make sure your undies don’t have discharge in them first!” I smiled at my friends. Rich white folk are so gullible to trick, sometimes I’m glad I grew up as a poor white kid, it helped me in tremendous ways. After about 3 hours of being hungover, we finally parted our ways for the rest of the night. I didn't take my car to Lizzie’s house, so I ordered an UBER.
I walked inside my house, almost collapsing. “Baby Shark!” I heard the kids saying as I locked the door. Why are they up so late? Asher is so irresponsible but I didn’t have time to chastise him, I have bigger things to do, which is to go to sleep.
I walked up the stairs, into my room to see Asher fast asleep. I yawned and flopped on the bed, cuddling up next to him. What would I do without my love, Asher? He’s my one and only. He’s the only reason why I’m about to do what I’m about to do. I have to keep him safe and my family safe. I knew I should’ve gone downstairs to tell those kids to go to bed, but if I even tried to get up, I would probably pass out.
I woke up to see the bright sun shining. I rubbed my eyes, looking at a peaceful Asher. All of a sudden, I felt a weird liquid blasting to the top of my mouth. I ran to the bathroom, vomiting into the toilet. My head was killing me. Why did I let myself get that drunk? I spent around 20 minutes hovering over the toilet bowl, letting all of the vomit out. I decided to go clean myself up and get ready for the day. I have big plans.
I poured myself a cup of orange juice. Asher walked downstairs and hugged me from the back. “Baby, are you okay? I heard you vomiting” He said, worry spread across his face. I ducked my way under his arms. He looked confused and hurt. Jackpot. I ignored his expression and poured the orange juice into all the kids cups and even though I didn’t want to, I poured orange juice into Asher’s cup. He walked to where I was standing. I rolled my eyes and walked away again. I forgot my phone upstairs, and had nothing to pretend to be interested in. I gave in and put my cup down, and raced to our bedroom. I looked under my pillow. No phone. I checked my bathroom. Still no phone. My phone was always on my nightstand, but since I was extremely drunk, I was too lazy to take it out of my purse, plug in my charger, plug in the phone, and put it on my nightstand. Too many steps already. I took out Asher's phone from his nightstand and clicked the “Find My iPhone” icon. I searched for my name on it and pressed. I was confused when I saw the blinking light located in our closet. I went inside and decided to call my phone using Asher’s. The ringtone was coming from his coat pocket. I went over to it and pulled it out. Why would he need my phone? I ran downstairs with it, and when Asher saw what was in my hand , he gawked at me. I dropped his phone on the counter and sat on the sofa. I texted Ezra since she was the one who I asked to get dirt on Audrey Thomas, the disgusting old hag who tried to get with my man.
Hey… Idk if you remember what we were talking about when we were drunk and delusional last night,, but did your cousin get any dirt on that Audrey girl?
Delivered to Ezra 🤠
Hopefully Ezra is awake by now, and her hangover isn’t too bad.
Girl you were actually serious about killing somebody, um I didn’t know that. But I’ll ask him if you want!

I didn't want Ezra to think I was crazy, but I still went along with it. “Where were you last night?” Asher asked, moving in to sit closer to me. I ignored his question and switched to Instagram. He looked like he was about to cry. All I cared about was why he took my phone and hid it. I didn't want to scream so I quietly put my phone down and walked back into the kitchen. I waited at least 3 minutes, hoping that he wouldn't bother me. I pulled out the pancake pan and called Stephanie and Daisy to come help me. They loved making pancakes with me. I heard my phone ring and ran over to it. Ezra was calling. She never was the type to call but the more you know? I picked it up to hear a yawning Ezra on the other side of the line.
“Hey, how ya doin?” I asked Ezra, keeping an eye on the girls. “Girl, my head is killing me, but um my cousin found some stuff! I’m not sure why you need it, or why you’re actually acting like you’re going to kill her.” Ezra said back, groaning. I replied “Ok, just um text me what he found. Bye, have a good day!” I hung up, and smiled at Stephanie and Daisy who were both reaching for the pancake mix.
I noticed the kids digging into their delicious pancakes as I finally relaxed on the couch. Asher had went upstairs and I’m not bothering to go check on him. Why did he hide my phone? I wuld love he just told me instead of asking me questions. I remembered Ezra, and decided to see if she texted me the info.
“Ok so he told me that her real name is Audrey Thomas. She apparently moved here from New York and she currently lives at 295 Palmsburg Avenue, and is actually 29 years old.”
I smirked at the text and screenshotted the text, just in case she deleted it. Audrey is probably the reason why Asher’s been acting so weird. And I’m so tired of his weird behavior, so when I do this, everything will be better. I went upstairs, deciding to go confront ASher. I noticed him lying in the bed, texting someone on his phone. “You finally deciding to come talk to me?” He asked, looking up from his phone. “Why did you hide my phone in your coat pocket?” I said to him, sitting at the side of the bed. He turned off his phone, putting it on the nightstand. “ I put it there because you came home really drunk and you looked like you were 2.5 seconds away from passing out. I didn’t know where you were, and maybe your phone would’ve helped me find that out. I just wanted to know that you didn’t do anything bad because you rarely drink and if you do, it’s very light drinking.” He said to me with a concerned face . I thought about his words. He was correct. I didn’t actually tell him where I was going and he was probably acting like every concerned husband. But still, I’m going to have to change my password and not tell him this time. What if he finds out that I texted Ezra about Audrey?
