When the Weak Go Marching In Part 3
“Gravity? Wait how can you both manipulate and create-”
“I don't need to tell you anything.”
The train car returned to normal and Yuki sat in a seat leaving me and Gato standing.
“Sorry about him…”
Gato apologizing?
“You don't have to apologize-”
“No I should've told you, he's my ex.”
Woah,
“No wonder you two were embarrassed…”
“Don’t take that the wrong way, I don't have feelings for him anymore.”
She continued,
“I doubt he does either, besides it's better this way we were very toxic to each other.”
I asked for details.
“I’m not comfortable sharing all of them, but just know he was very protective of me when we dated. That's why I wanna experience everything, since many people including him never let me…”
If only I could comfort her,
“But it sucks y’know… I really wish we could at least be friends so it doesn't feel like I wasted 3 years on him…”
The train started flickering its lights again,
“Waste of timeeee”
The lights turned off again,
“Shit…”
Yuki stood up,
“So the last Lost wasn't the one commanding darkness, we might have another Lost on our hands because of Gato’s inability to fucking read.”
Yuki faced her,
“Thanks bitch, you put us on a ghost train.”
“Don't call her that.”
I didn't mean to say that out loud, it slipped out.
“I won't talk back to you Prim, sorry for my rudeness but stay out of our shit, you don't know what happened between us.”
He's right, I can't really interfere.
Gato mumbles,
“Losts are conglomerations of souls consumed by negative emotions, the ghost train attracts souls all monitoring our emotions…”
She sighed,
“My regret of my relationship led to another one manifesting, likely feeling of dissatisfaction and embarrassment…”
Yuki held it down,
“You caused it so you kill it. This is a Lost based on heartbreak. So it's your fault.”
Gato stood up and faced the Lost with claws in hand. This one was the shape of a girl with long hair and eyes in her hands with them covering her face. I stood up with Gato, ready to help her if she needed.
“Don't let me down, Gato.”
