New Heaven:Future Gods

Fallen God

Fallen God

Nov 16, 2021

In the beginning, above Earth Realm a meeting was called. Zeus had called for a emergency gathering of all of the Gods to discuss matters that could change the Greek world as they knew it. Centuries ago, a cataclysmic event known as the “The Merging” had occurs. Forcing the Norse and Greek worlds to become one. Wars between the gods began.

After many years of war Odin and Zeus had decided to make a truce. A agreement between the two that allowed for peace between all the gods as long as their world’s remained separated.

(All the gods stood in the Olympus.)

Chatter and whisper filled the entire room moments before A speaker for Zeus called for the entire room to be silent. Zeus was ready to make his announcement. But before he can begin, unknowing of their presence the doors of Olympus are blown open. Everyone was in shock. It was the Odin and the Norse gods. It had been centuries since the Gods had seen each other. The wounds of war had made the memories unpleasant to think of.

Odin spoke, “Long time, no see Zeus."

Zeus replied, “I hope you have a good reason for breaking the treaty. You of all know that Norse gods are forbidden in Olympus.

“Ah, you’re as clueless as ever. The treaty has already been broken.”

The entire room gasped in disbelief. Everyone stared at each other wondering who would dare break the treaty.

Zeus for a moment was silent before everyone turned to him.

Odin spoke again, “You seem surprised Zeus, considering the traitor is from your house.”

Zeus enraged, “How dare you! You not only trespass on Olympus but you accuse my house of breaking the treaty! You’d be careful mind your tongue”

Odin’s energy intensified as suddenly the entire room was filled bloodlust. A energy only matched my Zeus himself, in response to Odins display of power. For a moment the room stood still before Odin calmed his anger.

“Fine Zeus, If you don’t believe me, how about you ask your brother what he has been up to lately. I do hope he has enjoyed Freya’s presence…He will never again!”

Zeus paused and glared at both of his brothers, Hades and Poseidon. It was almost immediate that the expression on Hades face had changed. He knew that Hades was guilty. Zeus hearts was filled with disappointment and rage.

“Hades! Step forward.” He yelled.

Hades slowly crept through the crowd, to stand in judgement.

“Brother, let me explain. I Nev— Silence!!!”

—-A great thunder shook the room.—-

Zeus stood, as he dauntingly stared down onto his brother Hades. “Do you have any idea what you have done! You have betrayed me Brother. You have betrayed your fellow Gods! This will not go without punishment!

The entire room could feel Zeus’s rage as Odin quickly interrupted.

“Well, Zeus get on with it!”

Zeus agitated slammed his fist into a nearby pillar.

“Depart from us Odin! Ensure you don’t ever come back.”

Odin smirked “Best to hope I never return Zeus. If I do…There will be no mercy.”

Odin and the Norse gods left in what seemed like an instant, leaving only the Greek Gods.

Zeus infuriated was quick to announce Hades punishment.

“Hades, for the crime of Treason, I now banish you from Olympus and cast you down into the underworld. Not to rule but as a prisoner of Tatarus.”

The room darkened as Dark clouds circled above Olympus. Hades pleaded with Zeus to forgive him but before he could a bolt of lightning struck at his feet creating a opening that swallows Hades, sending him to the deepest parts of Tartarus.

Everyone including Poseidon was horrified. No one dared to stand against his judgement. Shortly after Zeus dismissed the room, and returned to his chambers. The guilt of banishing his brother was almost to much to bare. He opened a secret passage to Tartarus and ventured down alone to speak to Hades.

The screams of the underworld echoed through the secret stairwell passage until the sounds had became a mere whisper. He had ventured well below the common places of torture and lost souls. When he finally reached the bottom he met with Hades, who was bound by chains. Zeus approached him slowly.

Zeus spoke, “Brother, I wish it didn’t have to be like this. By the gods, why did you have to go and break the treaty?”

“Zeus, I-I never meant to fall in love with her but I must see her. Don’t leave me here.”

“You can never her see again! Can’t you see what you have done! You would risk peace with the Norse gods!”

“Peace! Look what they have done to us! You think this makes us stronger. We should end them! We are Olympians! We can unleash the entire wraith of Olympus upon them! They wouldn’t stand a chance!”

Zeus frustratedly unbound his chains as Hades fell to his knees.

“Enough! You will never see her again and you will never show your face in Olympus. Keep from sight, or I will be forced to destroy you Brother.”

“Don’t make me laugh brother. You’re a coward!”

“And, you will never see her again!”

Zeus left still angered leaving Hades alone on the ground. Beaten and tortured His head down He thought hard about Zeus’s words and though he wasn’t intimidated, he was saddened about never being able to see Freya again. When he picked up his head there was a woman standing before him.

Hades chuckles, “Now what do I owe this pleasure, Hela?”

“I just thought I would come and tell you that a punishment was subjected upon freya, One not so lenient as yours.”

Tears filled in hades eyes as the fire around him melted the chains into skin, As hades power grows even Hela trembled in the fear of what she was seeing.

“Hades there is something you should know. Before Freya died she gave birth to a son and named him Loki.”

“Where is the boy now?”

“He is in Valhalla with Odin, Odin and Zeus plan to make an example out of the boy for breaking the code.”

Freya and I were not the only ones who broke this code just the first to be caught. Hela I need you to go to Aries, Hermès Athena, and Apollo warn them that there children are not safe.”

“Hades, what will you do?”

“I’m going to get my son.”

“Even with this new found power you are still no match for Odin, even your brother Zeus wants no problems with him.”

Hades laughs, “One thing about my family is that we will always have each other’s backs. My brothers will never let me die or do this alone. Just ask our father Cronus about us.”

Hela knew he was serious.

“So Hela, When do they plan on making this ‘Example’

“In two earth years, Odin plans to make an example to both gods and humans. Humans with humans, Greek with Greek, Norse with Norse. Any disobedience will not be tolerated. If you ask me I think Odin is scared that one of these kids might end up being as powerful if not more powerful than him and the thought of a child with Greek and Norse god blood could could threaten his rule.”

“Two years is plenty of time. I shall conquer the underworld alone and use the souls here to grow my power until have complete and utter control. Even Zeus and Odin will fear me if they every step foot into my hell. Now go and warn the others.”

As Hela leaves to warn Aries and the others, Hades grows stronger with every battle he faced in the underworld he did this to earn the respect of the underworld as its rightful ruler. He found Cerberus and tamed it, with Cerberus his most loyal companion. The only challenge left was to battle Death himself. Even the almighty Odin respected the power of Death. Hades with his chains of Enox and Cerberus bested Death in a fight that took two days.

Now Hades, the new and rightful ruler of the underworld had forced Death into submission. Sparing death, he allows him to stand as his right hand man. He had no doubt became the most feared being in all of the Underworld. Through that fear Hades had even managed to coin a new title. A title so renown that it reached the highest points of Olympus. ”Fallen God of the underworld”.

Zeus gets word of this and is not pleased. At first notice of Hade’s activities he had attempted to enter into to the underworld.

To his surprise he is not granted entry and passage has been destroyed.

Angered Zeus decides to unleash his powers and call forth a mighty storm that swallows Olympus. A lightning bolt forged in the palm of his hand, as he stands in front of throne. He throws that lighting bolt and watches as it tears through the mountain and into the underworld.

The bolt was strong enough to reach into the pits of Tartarus. Zeus hopes to destroy Hades where he stands for his disobedience but Hades without fail catches it and throws it back. A action that not only surprised Zeus but was meant to symbolize that he was done taking with Zeus and the other Gods.

We all have heard stories of Greek gods and Norse Gods and how they don’t like each other…What if I told you, that was true and false at the same time. What if I told you, that some Greek gods and Norse gods fell in love going against all rules. What if I told you some of them had children and had to keep them hidden from both Zeus and Odin. Well, let me tell you a story about my home girl, I mean our savior, “Kimberly”. Daughter of Sol and Aries.
