From that day forward, Jay determined to disregard any additional talks he had with Martin.  He became lifeless, like a stone.

*I'm not sure what happened to him... he's entirely ignoring me... I believe I pushed him too much, misreading his feelings*...  Martin was deeply saddened by Jake's actions...

weeks passed in this manner.

Jake didn't look Martin in the eyes. He was like the perfect Robot bodyguard. He completed his tasks on schedule and to perfection.

'If he wants to do this to me... great.. I'll play along as well;. Martin throws away the pen in anger and looks at Jake who was standing in front of his cabin.

Martin began to ignore Jake at that point as well. He became enraged at people for little blunders.

'Mar, could you tell me what's going on?'  Why are you behaving so arrogantly?. .. you were enraged at an employee for making a minor spelling error'... Maya questioned Martin.

'Errors, whether small or huge, are errors'... Is there anything more you'd want to say? .... His voice was icy...

'Yes,... Please don't act like this... you can talk to me... just tell me what happened and I'll assist you "...

"No... Maya... you can't help... and I don't need anyone's assistance". Martin was still cold.

'Mar... Martin cut her off before she could say anything.... 'Please, Maya....' I'll check the file... could you just leave me alone for a while... 'I'm not feeling well.' Martin picked a file and started going through it.

'OK, then let me know if there's anything else I can do'... Maya went out.

She glanced at Jake as she walked away. Jake greeted her without any emotions.

Jake gazed at Martin when Maya had left... * I'm truly sorry... I know you're in agony... but I'm not the one for you... Liam is correct... "a star that I can't capture or even consider... It's you".. all I want is to see is you enjoying a happy life, Martin... "My love"*... Jake averted his gaze.

Maya was seated in her chair at her cabin when she received a call from Martin's butler Daniel.

(Conversation)

Maya: Yes Daniel, what is it?

Daniel: How is Martin Sir now?

Maya: He?... he's OK in his cabin.

Daniel: Did he puke again? Did he have any food?

Maya: Did he vomit?  When...?

Daniel: Didn't he tell you?... ma'am, he has been vomiting since last night.. he threw up everything he had...  He only drank coffee in the morning.

Maya: Are you sure?  We just had lunch together an hour ago... he ate a lot. He said that he was starving!

Daniel: That's probably because he vomited up a lot... it's good to hear he ate... Then, ma'am, thank you for your time.

Maya: Okay, I'll take him to the hospital just in case...

(Conversation concludes).......

*He puked*... Maya sprang up and walked to Martin's cabin.

But neither he nor Jake was present. She inquired of the staff. She stated that they had just left. Maya dialed Martin's number. But he didn't answer the phone. Then she spotted his phone, which was on the desk.

*sh!t... where did they go without informing me* Maya made her way downstairs.

She spoke with the receptionist, who informed her that Martin had just left in his car with his bodyguard.
