“You know the regulations! If one of you steps outside before your dismissal time, you're all dead!”

The man who restrained Zyair was the librarian in the fourth building of Bihira International High, who would sometimes visit their class to verbally abuse, yell, name-call, or use derogatory language at them. He’d discriminate against them based on their race, gender, or any other personal attributes by throwing inappropriate or suggestive comments. Invade their privacy by forcing them to open their belongings and read their private messages or journals aloud. Forcing them to do embarrassing activities such as ordering the male students to run without their pants on or making the females walk outside barefoot. Forcing students to reveal personal or sensitive information in front of the class. Compel students to eat or drink something unpleasant or potentially harmful. Coerce students into wearing costumes or clothing that are humiliating or inappropriate. Force students to sing or dance in front of the class in a degrading manner. Make students endure excessive physical discomfort, such as standing on one leg for a long period or doing push-ups, or standing in a corner for extended periods. Assign tasks that compromise students' dignity, such as begging for forgiveness for no apparent reason.

The librarian had long known about these students’ behaviors towards newly employed teachers, having studied them meticulously through the reports of the soldiers assigned to monitor the class. The revolving door of new faculty members didn't concern this man, nor did he know that these students were responsible for their departures. In fact, he had no idea that these soldiers were responsible for their deaths and that those past teachers were already gone for life. The soldiers were sworn to secrecy from the faculty, knowing that panic would ensue if they found out.

No other faculty members dared to visit Class 11-5. Only this abusive, ignorant, selfless librarian would venture in, not out of goodwill, but for some ulterior motive, which was simply to commit atrocious acts to the students. Before the class found themselves confined in the classroom, they had no guidance or idea who to turn to, only a set of rules to adhere to and that’s it, nothing else. No past memories, no idea who they were, no knowledge about the world.

When the librarian first entered their class alone, the students felt a surge of happiness and hope, as if they'd finally glimpsed light after being in the dark for so long. Not a single person could recall how they ended up in this class nor could anyone recall what happened before they came here. The librarian’s first visit felt a ray of hope, but they soon realized it was all a mere facade. He was wicked beyond measure, and they vowed to send him where he truly belonged. To hell.

While the students usually put up a tough front with new teachers to be their new class advisers, they seemed to cower in this librarian’s presence.

Shortly after a new teacher was assigned to their class and quickly driven away by their torturous methods, the librarian received the news and became fully aware of how the students behaved. He grew more sinister, taking precautions and would bring along a squad of soldiers for reinforcement. He would enforce obedience among these students to his instructions and if they dared to defy his orders, their defiance would be met with a bullet penetrated in their skull. The soldiers, as government’s pets as they always were, were unable to defy this abuser higher-up. They were left with no option but to indirectly inflict harm on the students through pointing their weapons at their heads.

The students were left with no choice but to do what they’re told. The hands of fate seemed determined to bar their way to freedom even at the hands of what they thought to be the trusted ones. The librarian and the soldiers.

Once the soldiers started intimidating the students and went beyond their monitoring role, fear gripped through the students. They couldn't even understand why they had to feel that way, and why they had to be in this class in the first place. Now, they're being treated like lap dogs by the very people they thought they could trust. They dreaded the possibility of getting their heads blown off by their firearms without understanding why they would go that far for them. They're just students, underaged and unarmed. How could they possibly fight back?

Despite their strong desire to rescue Zyair from the hands of the cruel librarian, the students were held back by a strict rule that prohibited them from leaving the school grounds before seven in the evening. This rule was strictly enforced to avoid any unwanted attention and ensure that their actions remained unnoticed by other staff or students in the school.

The school's given dismissal time for Class 11-5 is set at seven o'clock in the evening. This regulation was in place to ensure that all students had vacated the premises by then. Therefore, it's customary for students in this class to be granted permission to leave at that hour, as lingering students were discouraged to maintain order and security.

The Bihira International High School, known not only for its luxury and prestige, is now owned and supported by Betelgeuse Inc., the country’s most renowned and influential technology and military company. Betelgeuse Inc. has earned global recognition for its cutting-edge consumer technology products, including mobile phones, laptops, computers, and tablets, as well as its advanced military vehicles and equipment. The company’s dual reputation for innovation in daily life technology and defense industries has cemented its status as a leader in both fields.

Within the company, there are four key executives who drive its operations and success: the Chief Executive Officer, responsible for the overall vision and major corporate decisions; the Chief Operating Officer, who ensures the smooth execution of daily operations and strategies; the Chief Financial Officer, managing the company’s financial health and stability; and the Chief Technology Officer, who oversees technological innovation and research to maintain Betelgeuse Inc.’s prominence in both consumer and military sectors.

The COO, CFO, and CTO of Betelgeuse Inc. aren’t just high-ranking corporate executives—their influence extends deep into the day-to-day workings of Bihira International High School. Alongside the Board of Directors, whose role is reminiscent of senators in a governing council, they shape the policies that dictate the school’s operations. Their involvement goes far beyond what’s typical for a corporate entity, reaching into the tightly controlled environment of Class 11-5. In a setup that defies conventional boundaries, these three executives share equal responsibility for managing the class. They collaborate on rules and regulations that are reviewed by the Board of Directors and ultimately approved by the CEO.

However, despite these, Class 11-5 remained unaware of the ones behind these directives. Their sole obligation was compliance with the rules. There were no explicit punishments articulated for non-compliance though. The students' apprehension stemming from the menacing presence of military personnel tasked with enforcement just left them to speculate that failure to adhere could result in their heads being blown off by their bullets.

Seeing Zyair being restrained by the librarian made Zora clench his fists. And somehow, he thought about his plan failing.

"Why did he have to mess up? This idiot never gives me a break," Zora muttered under his breath, clicking his tongue in frustration.

As the self-appointed class representative and leader, Zora felt responsible for coming up with a plan to save Zyair and mitigate his mistake, while also ensuring their safety. But how? Knowing the librarian, he might spare them, but not without inflicting some punishment. Seeing the scene right now, it seemed like the librarian was even enjoying tormenting Zyair.

Zora had zero interest in being a glory seeker. His main goal was pure survival. The circumstances pushed him to realize that despite their differences, his classmates faced the same dire straits. Using his sharp intellect and knack for manipulation, he managed to get them under his thumb through wielding their secrets like weapons and exploiting their fears for control as if nothing. Though seeming cold and calculating, Zora knew fear all too well – it was his very own driving force. He played on others' fears, using it to maintain power, treating classmates not as friends, but pawns in his survival game. Recognizing that survival often demanded hard choices, Zora accepted this reality. Their fates intertwined, his success hinged on their cooperation, so he played the part of the reluctant hero. Behind his strategic shrewdness, he hid his true intentions, which was to manipulate them into following him. He inflicted mental torment instead of physical harm, but the result was the same: they danced on his palm.

As Zora pondered intensely, he glanced at Mr. Arcturus with a determined look. With a firm voice, he instructed the four girls, "Don't let him escape! Prepare him now!”

In a flash, the four teenage girls encircled Mr. Arcturus, their tiny yet determined hands clamping down on him without hesitation. To anyone watching, it was a peculiar sight – a group of underaged students restraining an adult man. However, Mr. Arcturus remained surprisingly passive, understanding the delicate nature of his situation all too well. As he allowed himself to be seized, a smirk tugged at the corners of his mouth. He was well aware of Zora's plan – choosing these girls specifically to hold him was a strategic move designed to keep Mr. Arcturus in check. Any struggle or resistance on his part would instantly be perceived as an inappropriate act, further complicating his already difficult position. Zora’s plan was indeed clever.

Mr. Arcturus closed his eyes and let out a deep, resigned sigh. "I guess I have no choice but to play along again," he thought, allowing himself to be led towards the makeshift torture device ominously placed in the center of the classroom.

Meanwhile, Zora was still mentally planning on what to do without thinking about dying. He and his classmates were in the classroom while the librarian and Zyair were out on the lawn, where the air was filled with the stench of decay and dead grass. "Damn it, I can't let Zyair die yet. I still have unfinished business with him," Zora thought, gritting his teeth. He gripped the window frame tightly, desperately trying to come up with a plan to save Zyair before things got worse.

Balled-up fists pressed against the cold glass, Zora's knuckles turned white with anger and frustration. His gaze now darted around the room erratically, searching for any means of plan. “How on earth am I supposed to help Zyair when I can’t even go outside? Damn it!” exclaimed Zora in his thoughts.
