He saw James make a motion that the police were on route to the mansion and then he looked to his uncle who nodded solemnly. They would return to his office to talk with Ivan to make sure that the job was done and while he was preoccupied with that the Bride and groom would come out in casual clothes and announce they were running away. He pulled Ryan into a kiss and took a quick picture with his phone for him.

“I have to talk one more time with my Uncle then it will be show time, so find yourself a nice spot and enjoy the show.” He told him as he slipped his phone into his pocket.

“Do you have to? Can’t I join you?” He asked.

“Family business my Ry, we won't be long.” He lied. He kissed him one more time, let go of his tie and walked back to the office. He wanted to tell him he was sure he loved him but then he was afraid he’d get suspicious and he’d try to run off with him.

“Well, my man has gotten rid of the evidence by now.” Ivan said, strutting in after them.

“Are you sure?” Glenn asked.

Ivan looked at his phone. “Ahh yes he just confirmed it now.” He held up a flute of Champagne to toast them. “Now we talk about properly running those guns, you have many secret routes down to the south, yes?”

“I don’t think we should work together any more.” Glenn said. “The police may have lost their evidence but they will start looking into my companies more and I am not a criminal.” He told him.

“HA! You funny man!” He said. “But you are right we’ll wait till our first grandchild is born then we talk more about working together. I suspect nine months is plenty of time.”

Both rabbits looked disgusted at the mere thought of that. They both knew he wasn’t going to be having any grandchildren with their family, and they would never work together ever. Both wondered if they could make it so he never had children period.

“Next wedding will be soon, you and Tyler get married, yes?”

“Eww no, he is twice my age. I would rather do anything else but marry your shitty brother.” He told him honestly. Ivan charged him and then backhanded him across the face, knocking him to the floor. Glenn came running over moving between them. “I’m Okay.” He told him holding up a hand and then gently touching his reddened cheek, it smarted but it wasn’t bleeding.

“That was uncalled for Ivan.” Glenn growled.

“He should know his place.” He snapped back.

“Boss! Boss! We’ve been had!” One of the Gorilla’s said, throwing the door open.

“What?” He asked, turning to look at him. “What are you speaking of ‘been had’?”

“Your Son is missing and the girl came out with the rabbit announcing they were Bonded and running away together.” He told him.

“What?” He roared and then he ran out to see with his own eyes.

Monroe got up and walked over to the desk and took a seat in the chair. The other Gorilla had followed him out leaving the two alone to talk and to watch as the happy couple drove off before the police showed up. The two would be the only ones to escape that day. Everyone in the mansion would be arrested and released after it was shown they were innocent but Monroe and his Uncle were the only ones that they didn’t let go from their side, many of Ivan’s men and Ivan and Tyler both would be taken into custody.. The FBI had the recordings, though they had no clue how they had gotten them. The two would make a deal and serve less time, since the only evidence they had against Monroe was his confession he was part of it he got an even lighter sentence. He got three months, while Glenn got a year, both with chances of early parole. Monroe would only spend a month and a half in jail, his only visitors were Becca and Thomas, and then his parents and his brothers, they didn’t allow Ryan to visit since he was an unrelated Alpha, Gin wasn’t allowed to visit but Vinny managed to sneak in. He did however write to him once a week, first telling him he was stupid for doing this and then telling him how he missed him.
