1813- Human Realm
(Akire's POV)
"Akire! Don't do this!" my friend yelled as I locked the door of my bedroom "Akire!" she pounded on the door, yelling out to me "Why don't you believe that I can control it?!" "Cause there is no way you can control or possess anything that dark! Let alone, by yourself!" I lit all the candles, cutting my hand and drawing a big pentagram in the middle of the room, placed a mirror opposite of me and sat down. "R̶̰͘ḛ̸̂p̷̨̕e̵̗̔ä̶̬́t̶͔̂ ̵͚̕w̷̨̚ḧ̶̯́ǎ̶̯t̴͚͐ ̷͍́I̶̻͒ ̷̼́ẃ̷̳h̶̗̏ȋ̶̼s̶̨͋ṗ̶̨e̷̜̐r̸̖̎ " I started repeating what the voice in my head was saying "Afxíste kai kyverníste, chrisimopoiíste to aíma mou Chorís periorismoús se ó, ti échei detheí kai apeleftheróste aftó pou kápote ítan (translation:Rise and rule, use my blood. Unbound what has been chained and release what once stood)" "Akire! No! Stop!!! Don't do it! Let me in!" I repeated the words over and over as my friend continued to beg me to stop until I heard her scream as the mirror exploded. She went quiet. I flew back into the wall, hissing in pain, opening my eyes to see glass shards in my arms, I soon looked up to see this unholy thing standing infront of me, smiling down at me. He held out his hand as if offering to help me up, I took his hand, but he grabbed my wrist, holding a dagger, he cut out my right eye as I screamed. He held my eye in front of my face “Welcome to the life of a demon” and like that he slit my throat, disappearing as my friend was able to bust open the door “Akire!” I feel to the ground, bleeding out and soon dying in the arms of my friend….

1986- Hell
I woke up in a room of thorns and blood-red roses, my clothes had been changed to black, my black hair now had red streaks in it, wire wrapped around my neck and shards of glass fused into my skin, in one of the glass shards, I saw my reflection, I had one purple eye and one green eye, black cracks made in my cheeks below them and half my hair braided back “Akire Shards?”. I looked up to see a beautiful woman, pale skin, long dark-wine hair with a single soft-champagne-pink strip through the right part, glassy rosewood eyes, dressed in a long-sleeved dress of rose reds fading into pinks by her ankles. “Y-yeah?” “I’m Euanthe Thorn, naturalist demon and princess of Hell. Welcome to Hell”…..

Euanthe had walked me around Hell to this little voodoo shop “Umber!” a woman ran out and stopped dead, she kind of looked like me, but both her eyes were pure purple, hair was black and blue and she had no glass on her, just a scar around her neck and a barbed wire headband. “This is your great cousin Akire Shards, she died the same way as you. Akire, this is Umber Shards, one of the few family members you have down here. You’ll be living here with her and working here as well, but first” Euanthe grabbed my hand and drew a glowing red symbol on my hand, a wave of electricity rushed through me. “I just unlocked your powers, Umber will teach you how to control them while you’re here in Hell”....
