“Please welcome the Crowned Prince of Nayea, Prince William Sindred!” The doors open and in walks a tall muscular man with broad shoulders, a lighter complexion and smile that lights up the room. He bows deeply before the king and raises himself up. He holds himself like a soldier, a picture of strength, determination, and discipline. This was the man Taras would have to spend the rest of his life trying to persuade that they were their sister. The man who looks like would challenge him to a duel if he had found out to regain his honor. Taras moved from his place to greet him. Curtseying.

“It is a pleasure to meet you once again after such a long while, Your Majesty.” He smiles brightly, taking Tara’s hand into theirs and kissing it.

“The pleasure is all mine Princess.” The King stands from his throne and goes to hug the Prince.

“Please you are soon to become my son in law! Give an old man a hug.” The prince obliges and laughs with the king. Soon he is whisked away to a room to send a letter of his arrival back to his home.

“Well done, Evelyn.” Their mother seemed pleased that their first interaction had gone well.

Sitting in their room they take out a book to read and sit on the couch. There’s a knock at the door and Sandra rushes over to open it.

“Ma’am, it is the Prince, he wishes to speak to you” Tara freezes and nods their head. Sandra leads the prince in and gets some tea for the guest.

“I wanted to talk to you more, without your parents watching every movement. I understand that this must be a surprise to you. I wanted to ask how you’ve been feeling about all of this.” His eyes told you that he was genuine, he wanted to know.

“You are quite right that all this had come as a surprise to me. Though I am childhood friends with your little sister. I understand that this union is beneficial to both Kingdoms and I do not want to put anything in the way of the happiness of both our people.” William smiled deeply.

“I’m glad you think of it as something beneficial and not just something that you might have been forced into.” Taras chuckles trying to keep back telling him the truth about who he is, this would be over and his mother would send him away for his actions.

“Would you like to go for a walk with me? In the palace gardens, the day is beautiful and it would be a waste to just let it go to waste sitting here.” William grins wildly

“that sounds like a wonderful idea, I’ve always found that taking a walk with someone is a great way to get to know them more.” Taras nods.
