Tara leads William outside to the garden, the flowers are blooming and the birds are singing. Walking through the garden its mostly silence, stopping every once in a while to look at flowers. Finally there is a bench not far up ahead where the two take a seat to enjoy the view and the sun.
“What is your plan for when you become king?” Tara looks at William as his face turns serious.
“The kingdom is being currently run in a way that benefits some more than others, I want to fix that. I would like to run a Kingdom with happy people who can thrive and all have a chance, and I believe I can do that with you by my side. It is also why I had asked for your hand in marriage, you and your family have a knack for putting your people first. I remember I was talking to your brother we were still quite little but he already had a plan to help your people we had spoken about it and had told me the two of you came up with this plan together, I wanted someone by my side who I knew wouldn’t let the people down, and would teach our court what it meant to put country before oneself.” His eyes were bright and full of wonder. His smile shined brighter than the sun. His optimism was enchanting.
“Then I will be glad to be at the side of a man who wants nothing more for his kingdom to prosper. Such an ideal seems childish to those who are older, with the ideals of keeping those in power rich and happy and letting the everyday people perish. Those who forget that revolutions are a thing.” Tara grins looks into William’s eyes. William is already looking at them, his eyes full of hope and light. Feeling his cheeks flush Tara looks away and stands up.
“I believe it is almost time for dinner, please excuse me I must finish something.” Tara walks away briskly.

Up in their room Taras sits on the couch the vision of William staring into their eyes with a warm smile and butterflies fills his stomach. William is such a kindhearted person. Tricking him is feeling worse and worse. He will be leaving the next day.
“Ma’am! I have your gown for tonight's dinner.” Sandra walks through the door with a beautiful gown. It was lilac and white. Slipping it on Sandra stood back for a minute. “You stunning my lord, come here let me fix your hair.” Taras sat down looking into his reflection, he looked like his sister. They had similar build, slender and tall. Same eye and hair color, they would often look like sisters when they were very little but they had grown differently into different people. William was a kind man, he seems like he cares a lot for his people. ‘What is the plan for the wedding night? Mother never said anything other than to raise his mistress’s baby as our own. What kind of excuse could I make up, what if he doesn’t accept it, or someone tells him. I could be executed for this.’ Seeing the panic in his eyes Sandra laid her hand on his shoulder.
“You will be fine, you must be careful. I will be with you. I am your lady-in-waiting after all. Every step of the way my liege.” Sandra’s words eased Taras fears only by a small amount, but it was enough that Taras was grateful for having her by his side.
