Aithen POV

 I waited nervously in hope that they would come soon but they didn’t. I looked around the room and switched the particle accelerator to a new mode. I found “Rift-66 Maximum”. The machine made a loud error sound and spitted out a glowing red orb. I wondered what I could do with it but I thought of something that might open a portal. I laid the red orb on the floor and taped Fragment-66 to a grenade. I pulled the pin and threw it on top of the red orb. A massive explosion happened and after the dust cleared up something strange happened. The orb had turned into a purple crystal. I threw it into the particle accelerator just before I heard John. 

The Machine changed into a massive purple orb. Inside the orb I could see a weird land “So that must be dimension-1b?” I thought to myself as I was about to jump- 

“’Aithen you sure you want to do this?, do you really trust yourself with this?’’ Questioned John. “Hah after all this, you are trying to say I won’t be able to do it?...Shut up John all you ever have done is care about yourself.” Shouted Aithen. “Johnathan, maybe it’s time that you grow the hell up” Aithen also said angrily.

 I grabbed Thomas and threw him into the portal but before I jump in I need to find Jake and Jack so I grabbed my gun that I rested on a rusty countertop and ran to where i believe they were...I rested them somewhere in the Control room because I didn’t have enough time to tend to everyone’s injuries so I put they there and bandaged there injuries to minimize there bleeding.

I reopened the control room using the keycard I borrowed and found Jake and Jack once again although their injuries didn't seem as bad when I first saw them. “Oh Aithen your back?...Don’t worry about treating us, I found a Medical Kit in my supplies and treated myself and Jack” Jake happily said. “Ah, that's less work for me...Anyway we need to leave the control room and go to the room where the particle accelerator is.

We all ran past hordes and hoards and eventually made our way to the room, the only thing left was to jump into the portal. Jake didn’t seem keen on jumping but I had a trick up my sleeve. “Jake, Kaylee is waiting for you on the other side.” I said to Jake as he jumped into there without any hesitation.

Jack just looked at me and then walked into the portal and then jumped in myself. 

I wish John would change but he won't ever will. After some time I was thrown out of the portal into a strange land. It was all blue and felt so much hotter than back at homeI turned on my thermal vision and the ground was 131 Fahrenheit with some spots being 163 Fahrenheit. 

I looked to my left and saw Thomas was resting just fine. Now all that’s left is managing to get out of here. I thought about doing the same thing that I did to open the portal but I didn’t have a particle accelerator here so that was out of the window. 

Thomas was able to stand and walk by himself so we started to walk away...Suddenly Johnathan jumped out of the portal with him holding Kaylee. “What happened?” I asked. “Kaylee I’m sure...She’s dead” Johnathan said while it looked like he was holding his tears back. I rush over in a panic and check for Kaylee’s pulse....Nothing….Nothing...Still….Nothing. “I can’t believe it…” I thought to myself. I checked her pulse again...A beat! It was faint but it means that she’s still alive! “John, she has a faint heartbeat. We need to get her to an ambulance” I said to John.

 “Uh can’t you damn see we’re in a whole different dimension. How are we supposed to even do that” John worriedly said. “Charles close to the Facility if we can just make it outside!” I shouted to John. 

Looking around I thought about the idea of if we made a portal somewhere else wouldn’t it take us to our world counterpart?. “

John I have an idea...If we make a portal somewhere slightly far away we might be teleported outside of the facility!” John just looked at me concerned but I couldn’t blame him...I’m being too optimistic here...Just how are we going to get a portal again in the first place?...Well I am the squad leader…

”John for now until I come back you're the squad leader, some of our equipment still works so you should be able to see where I marked our meeting zone” I shouted to John. 

“Just what the hell are you doing??” Shouted John. “You know we can’t get out without the means to make another portal,” I said. The portal was starting to close but I’ve learned that Zombies can’t go through the portal. I ran into the portal and expected the worst.

Aithen back into the Facility

Coming back into the facility I fell straight to the ground and felt completely awful, I felt like I was going to throw my organs up. 

“So you can only go through the portal once without any side effects” I thought to myself. If 2 times is really bad I don’t want to know what going through again feels like. 

Getting up was really hard but I just managed to get upright. Now I need to get the things I need, this time I need to double open the portal to 1-b and then open a new portal to the new dimension. 

It seems that the zombies died trying to go through the portal so for now it seems pretty calm, the first place i’ll go to is the one where i found the classified document as we may find something to do with how to make a portal without the accelerator. I arrived in the room and began searching...One thing that stood out to me was that the titles looked very out of place.

so I moved them and found a secret room, I jumped down and found a new document nearly instantly. “Project Markix Classified Testing” and it read 

“Versteckt Forschen Foundation is a place that you should AVOID I regret joining it very much...If your reading this then I’m sure that my research has already been surpassed...This secret room is set to slightly reveal itself after a portal is opened in the particle accelerator. You see...Kisami is a perfect example of corporate greed...They once were for good but the scientists went insane over discovering the secrets and were driven to madness...They became the first example of Insanitys. Insanitys are a new type of Zombie that doesn’t come from being infected...Instead when humans are driven to the brink of madness they turn into a new Zombie type Insanity and they are so much stronger than regular Zombies. One of our scientists became insane and rampaged through the facility and we were forced to kill him to prevent the Facility being destroyed. You would think that Kisami would realise that they are literally pushing our staff to madness but no they actually went even further and started experimenting on scientists that were close to madness, they dissected them, tortured them and tested them for days and nights...This place is horrible and you should never come here ever. Ah they’re here...I’m about to die now...Goodbye and may my research rot in hell forever.”
