I'm sorry for writing a smartphone joke. I know it's tacky. I also know it's even more tacky to call it a "smartphone", but I really tried to write this moment without it and it just took way more words to get the same idea across.
So just know that I am well aware that a Zoomer who is a teenage CEO would definitely never refer to ANYONE'S cellular device as a smartphone, but back when I wrote this character I was a teenage millennial who had JUST gotten a smartphone. It's honestly weird to think about how long this character has been trapped in time.
Oh ? But then what would zoomers call it if not a smartphone ? Just "phone" ? (I did worse in my comic, I've called that a PDA - personnal digital assistant - trying to give a futurish effect xD)
If the dead are supposed to rest in peace, then why won’t the living leave Victor Entrails alone?
Of all the Cursed Creatures in the mysterious town of Pleasant Oaks, Victor is undoubtedly the last one that wants to be bothered. Yet, he can't keep his name out of the paper, and his weird mad scientist neighbor, Frank, won’t stop showing up at his porch. But thankfully, he's managed to stay out of trouble by keeping the horrors of Pleasant Oaks on the other side of the door.
But when a good-hearted, young outsider crash lands into Pleasant Oaks and shows up at Victor's doorstep, Victor finds himself making the deadliest mistake of all...caring.
