She waits while hearing the other line ring. Then she hears a hello from the other line.
“What do you mean you know my secret,” She asks.
“I had a nice chat with a certain CEO that had your number in his wallet,” Akio comments.
“I’m sorry. I don’t know any CEO so I don’t know how he got my number,” She says, hiding the worry in her voice.
“Well, this CEO paid to have someone close to me killed. He then gave me a number to the person who pulled the trigger,” Akio says with a smirk in his voice.
“Then he must have lied to you or gave you the wrong number,” She says while still hiding everything.
“You know I don’t think he was lying and I think he didn’t give me the wrong number either,” Akio says with the smirk still in his voice.
“Why do you think that,” She asks with a sigh.
“Because I can be very persuasive,” Akio comments with a chuckle.
“Is that so,” Sarah asks sarcastically.
“Yep. Now, what do you think the police would do to get the information on the Black Heart sniper,” Akio comments with a snicker in his voice.
“What do you want,” She sighs.
“Get the camp closed and have dinner with me,” He answers as he gets a cigarette out.
“Why would I have dinner with you,” She asks with a tired tone.
“So we can talk and figure out what to do,” Akio answers while slipping a cigarette into his mouth.
“I’ll think about the dinner but getting the camp closed will be easy. Especially after I talk to the leader today,” Sarah comments with a sigh.
“I can wait,” He says as he hangs up. Sarah curses under breath. She walks out of the cabin after tying her shoes. She then heads straight to the leader's cabin. She knocks on the door when she arrives. She waits for him to answer the door. She looks at the forest as she waits and the memories come back.
