I stared at my phone for a few minutes, in disbelief. Was it real? I pinched my arm before flinching. This was not a dream! I immediately called my mom. After my parents divorced when I was young, she raised me alone. She was the only person who ever supported me in this life. I think we spent hours on the phone, talking about the new life I was going to start.
On Monday, I woke up early to get ready. Maybe it was because I was so happy, but today when I looked in the mirror, I was not disgusted by my round face and chubby body. I even felt pretty. I was wearing a black high waisted pants with a white dress shirt and a black cardigan. I even put on some makeup because I was still early and I finished with a little mascara and then grabbed my bag and keys.
I arrived about an hour early at the agency and went directly to the reception. I gave the reception lady my name with my ID card and she nodded before letting me wait for a short moment. She came back with my employee card and led me to the senior manager’s office.
The rest of the day went smoothly. I met with the senior manager, who introduced me to the staff and lastly to the members. He explained that each member had a private manager and the senior manager was in charge of the five members. He then explained that I was supposed to take care of Junyeon, the oldest member of XTX. I blushed for a moment as I thought about the fanfiction I was reading these days. The male lead was inspired by Junyeon. Now that I work with him, I should stop reading it.
I finished work quite late for the first day, because I prepared everything to make it easier to work tomorrow morning. I left the agency with a smile on my face. But my smile faded when a young woman ran to me and grabbed my hair. I was so shocked that I couldn't process what was happening. Before I knew it, a sharp pain invaded my mind and my eyes widened. I collapsed on the ground in front of the agency as I watched the crazy woman run away, screaming that i would never date Junyeon. I get it now, that woman was a saesang. I sighed as my vision started to fade. So the happiest day of my life, I was fated to die. God must really hate me...
