GC’s POV:

A loud howl echoed throughout the entire forest.

 “Huh?” I looked around in such confusion. Was that DC? I thought to myself, I went to search from where I had heard the howl. I ran through the forest in a feeling of adrenaline, as I kept my ears up and in focus. I just hope DC is okay, they better not be in such big trouble. I thought more and more about what had happened and I just kept running. In the distance I had seen a big flame and a big cloud of smoke that flowed up into the sky. Wait, a fire? In the somewhat winter blizzard? I gotta keep running! They must be okay! Right? I was in such a panic. The howling had grown louder and I had seen a ring of fire and a wolf inside looking up, it was DC. I ran up onto the rock 

“DC!” I had barked at them trying to get their attention, and then they looked at me with surprise.

 “GC? Why are you here?” DC had asked me as I glared back

 “I ain’t leaving you behind!” I had snapped back at them, trying to keep the talk short and actions quick. I jumped off the rock and into the ring of fire 

“You always get yourself in danger!” I had barked again and placed my paw onto DC’s. I then howled into unison with them as they did too and that's when a bright light was shined. We had fused.

DC’s POV:

I ran through the snow on the padding of my paws.I rushed into the concrete wall where I had left Stardust.

 “I'm back Dust, I also went hunting” I walked back to Stardust and dropped a dead hare in front of him

 “Thanks mom” Stardust nodded and looked at the hare on the ground.Why was he looking at it? I thought.

“Hey mom? Are we gonna come back to the den soon?” Stardust asked, as he looked back up. I’m not so sure right as my heart was still beating fast.

“Yes my son, we will as soon as the storm stops. I need a break from the other pups now eat, you need your strength.” I sat next to him for a bit until I heard a loud crash, and it was almost an ear bleeding ring sound. I had told Stardust to go get the others once I spotted the fire and where it was coming from.The fire was spreading rapidly, as I rushed up to where I thought I could see some extra supplies and maybe some actual police officers?

“Humans” I snipped at myself and ran behind a bush to not be seen by the bright flashing lights. I saw fire spreading near where the clan was.

“Oh no” I whimpered and rushed back to where the clan would be, but a fallen tree was caught on fire and blocked my path. I looked around but there seemed  to be no way out to escape so I howled out to GC, hoping that it would get to me soon and the ground was warm.

“DC?” I looked around and followed the voice to see GC on a large rock on one side of the fire.

“GC? what are you doing here?” I asked, worried not care if I got out but to make sure our family was safe.

“Don’t think I’m going to leave you behind!” she snapped at me and jumped over to where I was standing. So I did what I thought would be best and so we howled and fused as one.
