When Asagao’s parents were children, they had to fight in many wars. Asagao’s father Gehmari and her mother Eze were childhood friends. As teenagers they started developing feelings for one another. When they became young adults, Gehmari asked Eze to marry him. After they married, Eze became pregnant with Agawi. Gehmari and Eze stopped fighting in wars to raise their newborn son. They felt at peace not fighting. The King Of Gold Bubble wanted to pass his King title to Gehmari. He declined several times, he just wanted to be a regular person. Five years later, Eze gave birth to twin daughters and named Ves and Sel. The twins were so advanced at only 7 months. Gehmari was so stunned at how smart they were. As they grew older, they got even more smarter. He even trained them for battle just in case they needed to defend themselves during a fight. 

Gehmari and Eze loved being with their children. Seeing them growing up so quickly made them sad. Agawi was becoming a teenager who would rebel against them at times. Eze became pregnant again. She gave birth to a baby girl named Asagao. Asagao was a very beautiful baby. Gehmari was so excited to have another baby girl. He would take Asagao to the park and just spend lots of time with her. The twins were jealous at first but they instantly started caring about their baby sister. They spent lots of time with her and babysat her when their parents were out. Agawi was annoyed at having another sister. He got very jealous at the attention Asagao received. It was like he was invincible to his parents. But he still cared for his baby sister. 

When Asagao was three years old, another war happened. Gehmari and Agawi fought in the war together. Gehmari was badly injured causing him to lose his right arm. Agawi only had a minor injury. After recovering from the war. Gehmari quit fighting and just continued to be with his family.  He never wanted to fight in another war again. Being with his family was more important. He felt useless without his left arm being gone. He was just a regular person now.

Today is Asagao’s eighth birthday. Gehmari and Eze wanted to plan something special for their daughter. She was still sad about Gold Bubble being gone and just would either sit in her room or sit outside on the swing crying. Norga tried her best to cheer her up, but there was nothing they could do. Not even her robotic cat Onplone could make her feel better.

“ I’m very worried about Lady Asagao…she hasn’t come out of her room at all today! It’s her birthday and she should be happy! “ Onplone said 

“ I tried my best to make her smile. She hasn’t cracked one smile.” Norga lowered her head down. 

“ I think I know what to do….” ForgetMe Dambo winks at Norga. He knocked on her door. She didn’t answer, she just laid in her bed. ForgetMe Dambo sat on the bed and said to her 

“ It’s okay to be sad…young Asagao. But today is a very special day for you, all your family and friends are waiting for you downstairs. In life things won’t always stay the same…” 

Asagao turned over to look at him. She sat up and hugged him. ForgetMe Dambo gently patted her back. She wiped her tears, and told ForgetMe Dambo that she’ll be down in a minute. He left her room and shut the door behind him. Asagao put on her birthday outfit and walked downstairs to see her family and friends waiting for her. Her parents hugged her tight. Her siblings also hugged her. Agawi told her that he made her favorite food. It was a traditional Gold Bubble chicken dinner. The chicken was Golden and filled with fresh vegetables. Asagao ate this as a toddler and it’s become her favorite ever since. They all sat down eating dinner and celebrating Asagao’s birthday with food and dancing. ForgetMe Dambo gave her a very beautiful present, he told her to look outside. It was a Golden elephant just like the ones on her home planet. She thanked him and went to pet the elephant. When it was time to have the cake, they all sang happy birthday in their native language. Her parents told her to make a wish…she wished for peace in her family. She blew out the candles. Everyone sat around discussing daily things while eating cake. Norga was full from eating so much cake. Asagao also ate so much cake she thought she was going to pop! After the party was over, Asagao and Norga fell asleep, eating too much cake made them sleepy. ForgetMe Dambo carried them upstairs to their room. He whispered good night to them and left the room. 

He hoped to see Asagao always remaining happy. But he knew in his heart that he had to train those two for battle.

“ She looked so happy today…it’s such a shame that it won’t last.. '' Silka sighed and leaned her head on ForgetMe Dambo’s shoulder 

“ I know….it breaks my heart that she won’t be able to be a normal eight year old…”and Norga has suffered enough..” He caressed her hand. 

“ This battle will be tough…but I know we can protect this planet. “ She looked up at him and smiled 

“ Agreed…this is my home.. I will protect everyone.  “ He kissed her forehead. They sat outside for a while thinking about the future of Pink Bubble.
