It was one of those days where Nagomi and Haruto would waste their free day lazing around because Nagomi was too cool to go out and Haruto was too whipped to say no to him.
Times like these were the most important for Nagomi; sharing with each other their stories, experiences and dreams that just started and ended as a dream.
Haruto was usually the one with a lot of funny stories to share, and Nagomi had the ones he wished he could forget, but being with Haru made it all better.
It would be a bitter-sweet segment of knowing each other more.
Today too, Nagomi was in Haru's arms, later playing with his lover's finger.
Haruto had always loved how beautiful, soft and slender Nagomi's fingers were, almost impossible to say that those belonged to a male.
Another thing added in the mental list of Haruto for 'most lovable things of Nagomi', which was almost everything.
In the process of intertwining, releasing and caressing his fingers the sleeve of his shirt accidentally slid down, displaying all the scars on Nagomi's wrist.
Nagomi was fast enough to cover it up but it didn't go unnoticed by Haruto.
"Sato-san." He called out with a soft low voice.
Nagomi always hated when he did that because he could never say no to that voice.
"Is this the reason why you always wear long-sleeved clothes?"
Nagomi kept quiet looking at his fingers like they were the most interesting thing in the world.
"Don't look.They are ugly."
He mumbled, making Haruto sit down and take his hands.
"I know I've already said this to you before but let me say it again, you are the most beautiful thing I've ever laid my eyes on. None of your parts are ugly."
He swiped the sleeve upwards and started placing kisses on every scar on sight.
"I could keep doing this every time, all day and still never be satisfied. You are just too precious."
He took Nagomi in his arms, kissing the top of his head.
"This is something I regret doing, a past I can't erase just like these scars."
"Think of it as your battle badges, when you needed to feel pain just to make sure if you were alive or not."
Nagomi chuckled at his lover's words.
"That's so you....calling scars something like a battles' badge."
"At least you smiled."
Haruto held Nagomi's chin between his thumb and index finger, making the latter face towards him.
"But I hope you don't feel the need to continue doing this."
He said with the same soft-low voice, staring into those deep-hazel nut eyes of Nagomi.
A blush creeped in Nagomi's cheeks, he shook his head with a small shy smile on his face.
Haruto smiled at his lovers' antics and engulfed him in a hug again.
"That's good or else I would be worried as hell."
He could feel two trembling hands creeping on his back as Nagomi hugged him back. They stayed in the same position for a moment until Haruto let out an 'ah' , it seemed like he had something in his mind.
He pulled himself and started to rummage through the drawer.
He let out an excited "Found it" before pulling out a small black marker and sat in front of a confused Nagomi.
"Let me borrow your hand for a moment."
He slided the sleeve of Nagomi's arms and started drawing vines in all visible scars of Nagomi.
"You know how I always wanted to be an artist, I am thankful that I attended some of the art classes."
He continued, drawing stars, it almost looked like the vines were growing those stars as it's flowers.
"There, all done."
Haruto looked satisfied with his work.
"What is this for?"
"Look, the vines are growing out stars for you because you are the one of them. And this is your constellation- no our constellation."
Haruto kissed the palms of Nagomi's hands.
"They will fade away soon."
"I will draw them as many times as needed but you will still be my favourite star."
Haruto said, placing his cheeks on Nagomi's palm, smiling with that blinding smile of his.
'But you still shine the brightest.'
Nagomi held onto those words as he realised how lucky he is to have Haruto and now their own constellation.
With Haruto, even his scars were beautiful.
