Astrid’s POV

Ash walks up and kneels in front of me, “it’s okay Astrid, I know how to help you.” I look up at him, “how?” I ask.  “You need to drink my blood.” That took me by surprise, “is that all?” He shakes his head “No, because I imprinted on you we need to complete the bond. Which means you need to imprint on me, and then there is only one way to fully complete the bond.” 

“How do we do that?” He smiles at me, “I’ll show you.” He grabs me and moves me onto his lap so I’m straddling him. I instantly feel his hard on and my face heats up causing him to chuckle at me. Arabella was already up, “hey guys.” I down a cup of coffee but am still so fucking exhausted thanks to someone, but I could tell Ash was tired too. “We are gonna go take a nap, yesterday was a lot.” Ash follows me upstairs and we both fall asleep. 

Blayne’s POV

I walk into the living room just as Ash and Astrid leave,  and sit down across from Arabella. “They completed their imprint.” I say with a small laugh. She looks up at me, “I wonder what it feels like?” she says with a curious expression. “You’ll find out someday,.” 

Astrid’s POV

A few hours have passed and I feel Ash shaking me, I groan, “what’s wrong?” I ask him, sitting up. “Nothing.” I just want to give you something.”  I notice he’s holding a black box, he hands it to me and I open it. It's a stunning sapphire teardrop necklace, I feel tears go down my face and I look at him, “it’s beautiful.” I say and then I grab him and kiss him. 

He takes it and puts it on me. “I’m going to go show Arabella.”  He chuckles at me.  I went downstairs to find her, she was in the living room. She sees me walk in, “look who is finally awake.” she says with a smirk, which I ignored, “Look what Ash gave me.” I say not being able to hide my smile. “That’s gorgeous!” she says. “Hey wanna go hunt? I’m hungry.” I ask her just as my stomach rumbles.. “Yeah, I could use the exercise.” she says with a laugh.

I laugh, “me too.”  She gives me a look, “Didn’t you get enough exercise with Ash last night.” she asks while laughing as I turn beat red. “Shut up!” I says embarrassed and we both leave. After we were both full and tired we started walking back home. “I believe you are a better hunter than me now.” Arabella tells me bumping my shoulder. “Nah, you're better.” I  laugh. I stopped,  I smell something in the air and growl, “Alec is here. God he is relentless.”

“What? I thought you killed him.” she said. “I thought so too.” He walks towards us stopping a few feet away. “Why are you here?” I question. “For you. Seeing you so happy disgusts me, you don’t deserve it.”  I roll my eyes, “You're only saying that because your life turned to shit after you left me.” He growls, “shut up.” he says, pointing a gun at me. “Really? You're gonna try to kill me again?” I asked annoyed. “Who said I was going to shoot you. I lost everything because of you, now it’s time you know how that feels.” he says as he  turns the gun to Arabella and pulls the trigger. I try to push her out of the way but I was too late, it hit her in the chest. She collapses on the ground. 

I scream and turn to him making him step back which usually means my eyes changed to red. I freeze everything including Alec. “W-what are you going to do?” he asked, shivering. “What I should have done the first time, kill you!” I snarl. “I d-don’t b-believe you.”  I shift into my wolf and slowly stalk towards him. I watch him squirm and try to break free. I lung at him, shattering the ice and pinning him on the ground. I lock my jaws around his head and rip it off, watching the blood spray everywhere. I don’t stop, I start ripping him to shreds. Ash and Blayne run up, they must have heard the gunshot. “Astrid stop! He’s dead.” Ash yells at me. I look up at him and shift back into human form, blood dripping off of me. “Your eyes are red. You need to calm down.” I turn around ignoring him and went to Arabella, I started crying and fell to my knees. Blayne and Ash run over to where we are. 

“What happened?” Blayne asks. “Alec shot her in the chest…The bullet was poison, you can smell it...She’s dead.”  Ash comes beside me and hugs me. I look at her again realizing something, “I can save her!” I exclaim. “How, she is already dead?” Ash asks looking at me. “No Astrid! It's too dangerous. We don’t know what will happen when you bring back someone who is completely gone.” Blayne pleds to me knowing what I’m going to do.

I look up and snarl at him making him back away, “I don’t care! She is my sister and I will not lose her.”  I feel Ash flinch but he stays by me. I pull the bullet out of Arabella's chest, the poison burning my hand but I block out the pain. I place my hand over the wound and focus all my powers to heal her and bring her back. I feel an overwhelming wash of pain and nausea and pass out, falling in Ash's arms. 

Ash’s POV

“Oh Astrid.” I sigh sadly while holding onto her.  Arabella gasps and sits up looking around, “what the fuck just happened?” she asks. “Alec shot you and killed you.” She looks at Blayne confused and at Astrid unconscious in my arms. “she used her powers didn’t she?”  I simply nod. “Is she okay?” She asks. “She is breathing, but we don’t really know. She has never used her powers to this extent.” Blayne answers.

“Uh, let’s give Akira a call and see if she has any ideas.” Arabella suggests. “Let’s get her home first.” I stand up with her in my arms holding her tightly and we walk back to the house. I lay her on the couch and go over to the others. “I’m going to call Akira.” Arabella says and walks away. I look to Blayne,”what do we do if Akira can’t help?” He puts his hand on my shoulder, “It will be okay Ash, don’t worry.” Arabella comes back in, “she will be right over.” 

15 minutes later

Akira walks into the house, “What happened exactly?” she asks. “Alec shot me and I died so Astrid used her powers to heal and bring me back.” she explains. “How long has she been unconscious?” Akira asked. “Almost an hour.” I answer

She thinks for a few minutes, “I know a way that could wake her up but you won’t like it Ash.” she says. “I’ll do anything, what do you have in mind?”

 “We’re gonna break your bones.” I take a step back, surprised, “what? Why?” She laughs at me, “you are imprinted aren’t you?” I nod. 

“As you should know, being imprinted means you can feel each other's pain. So the pain and shock you feel should wake her up.” she explains. “Will that work?” She looks at him with a serious expression, “it's our best option.”  Akira looks at Arabella, “You are the strongest one here, would you do the honors?” She nods and comes over to me, “sorry.” she says  before snapping my arm. 

I scream, I look over to see Astrid twitch, good it's working. Arabella punches me hard in the stomach and I feel a good amount of my ribs crack, I double over gasping for air. 

Arabella’s POV

I was about to punch him in the face when I see Astrid open her eyes and then walk over to us, “why are you hurting Ash.” she half yawns and growls. He turns and looks at her, “thank god you are awake.” he walks over and smashes her in a big hug.

She looks at him confused, “Did something happen?” He pulls away, “you used your powers to bring Arabella back and passed out. You’ve been asleep for a while.” he tells her. “Oh, well I'm okay now.” he hugs her again, “good, ‘i'm glad.” 

We hear her stomach growl, I swear she is a bottomless pit, “I’m hungry.” she says, looking at us. He laughs at her, “what’s so funny?” 

 “You're just so random sometimes.” he answers, while trying to stop laughing because of his broken ribs.

“I’m just really hungry.” She says smacking him, making him grunt and double over again. “Okay, then we will go hunting,” I tell her. We headed to bed and left to go hunting in the morning.
