Ash’s P.O.V

Arabella wakes up, after a minute she comes over to me,  “Ash, we need to move her.” I look up at her, “I know… I just need a couple minutes.” She sits down next to me and wraps her arm around me, Blayne comes over and does the same. I see Arabella turn and I notice my black box is on the ground. Guess the cats out of the bag now.

She grabs the box and looks at me, “what is this?” she asks. “I was going to propose to her tonight.” We start crying again, I see her put it in her pocket. I start to feel something warm on my arms and look down at Astrid, she is starting to glow. 

I gently put her down and we all get up, “what is happening?” Blayne asks. “I have no idea!” I look at her again and her body levitates for a second and then there is a blinding flash of gold light. She slowly floats back to the ground. “What the hell?” Blaynes says. We stare at her for a second, then she sits up gasping for air. “Astrid!!” I yell, kneeling beside her. She looks around confused, I start to get a bad feeling as her gaze settles on me. 

Astrid’s P.O.V

“Who are all of you?” I ask, getting up and moving away from the  man in front of me, he is really hot though. I wonder why he looks sad, “Do you know who I am?” he asks. I shake my head, “Do you know who you are?” he asks. “Yes, I’m Astrid Vail.” I look as the girl moves closer to me, I tense a little. “So you have no idea who any of us are?” she asks with a sad expression. No I don’t...Should I?” I see the other guy come a little closer, “yes you should.” I look at them all again, “I’m sorry, but I don’t know who you all are.” I turn and start to walk away, but the hot guy stops me, “You should stay here. We could help you get your memory back.” he said looking hopeful. “Really?” I’m not sure about what to do, should I trust them? “Please let us try to help you Astrid,” the girl says. 

I hesitate for a second but decide to see what happens, “okay.” They take me inside and we sit in the really nice living room. I look at them all, “so, who are you?” The girl answers me first, “I’m Arabella, Ash is next to you and that is Blayne,” she looks at the guy next to her. “Okay…..So, how do I know you all?”

“Well I’m your sister and Blayne is your brother.” she explains to me. I look at Ash, “what about you?” He flashes a sexy smirk, “I’m your soulmate.” It took everything for me to not gape at him, how the fuck did I get so lucky, “so you and I are together?” He nods. I feel a sharp pang in my head and see flashes of different images. 

“I think….I’m starting to remember some stuff.” I try to focus on what is going through my head. “What do you remember?” Arabella asks. “Uh, i remember looking at Ash and then falling out of a window, but after that there is nothing.” I look at Ash, “You died.” he tells me. I wasn’t expecting that response, “what do you mean I died?” 

“After you fell out of the window your head slammed into a stump, splitting it open. The impact killed you instantly. To think of it, hitting the stump is probably why you lost your memory.” he explains to me. “Why am I alive?” I ask them. They all look at each other, “well, we were hoping you would have the answer to that,” Blayne says. I think for a couple minutes, “could it be because of my powers?” 

Arabella let out a sigh, “I didn’t even think about that!” It made sense, if I could bring people back from the dead, maybe my body healed me on its own. I held my head and groaned as I got more flashes,“ I remember being pregnant.” I look at Ash and he nods but doesn’t look at me. “I lost the baby when I fell, didn”t I?” He looks at me, “yeah, I haven’t heard the heartbeat at all.” I look away, “I’m sorry.” I feel him move closer, “you don’t need to be sorry, it wasn’t your fault.” I sigh, “I know, but I feel guilty somehow.” 

“That will go away eventually.” I keep getting flashes of memories, “I think everything is coming back now.” Arabella looks at me surprised, “really?” I nod, “it’s all kind of fuzzy and hard to understand but I know who you all are and that I really love all of you a lot.”  Ash hugs me, “we all love you alot.” I feel my stomach growl and Ash chuckles, “I’m starving!! What is there to eat?” They all burst out laughing. “What’s so funny?” I scowl. “You are just so random sometimes, but I love you!” Ash says. “I love you too.” 

Arabella clears her throat making me jump, “How about we go for a quick hunt.” I perk up, “sounds like a lot of fun!” I walk outside and Blayne follows me. I see Arabella talking to Ash but I choose to ignore it.

Arabella’s P.O.V

“Hey Ash.” He stops and looks at me raising an eyebrow. “Do you still plan on proposing to Astrid?” I see him sign and think about it, “ I want to, but I just don’t know if right now is the right time.” I roll my eyes, “I believe that there is no real right time to ask someone to spend the rest of their life with you. I think when we are done hunting you should surprise her with the ring.” He looks down and then back to me, “Really? What if she says no?”

“I know you love her more than anything. You two are meant to be together obviously considering you are imprinted and she won’t say no, she loves you more than she loves herself.” He laughs a little, “That’s true.” I give him a hug and slip the ring back into the pocket. He laughs again, “I will ask her.” I turn around and see Astrid walk back into the house, “Let’s goooo already people!'' She walks back outside and we follow her.

Astrid’s P.O.V

After we walked into the woods I challenged everyone to see who could catch the biggest prey. “I’m pretty sure I won!” Ash says, I hear Arabella snicker, “I don’t know… Astrids buck is pretty big.” I look at Blayne, “I think it’s a tie.” he says. I shrug and look at Ash, “I can live with that…. For now.” He chuckles at me, I turn away from him and was about to pick up my prey when, “Astrid.” I turn around and see Ash on his knee holding a sapphire star ring. I feel my breath leave my body and I couldn’t move anymore, “From the moment I saw you in the woods that day, I thought you were the most beautiful woman I had ever laid my eyes on. I love you more than anything in this world. I want you to be with me always and forever, I can not see myself anywhere else but by your side forever and always… Will you marry me?”

I start crying, “Yes! Of course I will.” I hug attack him and kiss him causing us both to fall to the ground. “Congrats guys!” Arabella and Blayne say together. I get up and give them both a hug, “thanks guys.” Arabella smirks at me, “now let’s go celebrate!!!” I chuckle, “how about we celebrate tomorrow. I would really just like to spend the night with Ash.”

“Of course. This way we can plan and invite our friends to the party.” Blayne says. “Sounds like a plan.” We all walk back to the house, having a good time chatting. It is so nice to have a peaceful moment for once in my life, I hope it can stay that way. When we reach the house  I go upstairs to spend time with Ash, while Blayne and Arabella think of some plans for the party. 

Upstairs

Ash is sitting on the bed while I get changed, I can feel him watching my every move, “I love you.” I giggle, ‘I love you too.” I turn towards him, I know where I want to get married.” He raises an eyebrow, “oh really, where?”  I smirk, “that will have to be kept a secret for now. Right now I don’t want to talk.” Before he gets what I said, I sit on his lap and wrap my legs around him and kiss him. I hear him growl hungrily, “are you sure?” he asks. “Just shut up!” I kiss him again and he doesn’t hold back this time. We spent the entire night intertwined in each other. 

I wake up the next morning and find Ash already awake and watching me. “Let’s go get food.” I say as I yawn and stretch, he laughs and we both go downstairs. “Morning.” Arabella says, I wave at her. Ash sits next to her, “any plans for the day?” 

“Nothing besides the party.” she answers. I internally smack myself on the head, I completely forgot about the party already. I walk over to where they are. “Right! What time is the party?” I ask her. “In a few hours, we still have to set everything up and invite our friends. The party will be in the woods since that seems to be our favorite place.” she tells us. I nod, “that sounds like a plan. After food and coffee Ash and I will be sure to get started.” She nods, “Okay. I believe Blayne will be heading out to the store to get some of what we need.” 

She sends Blayne off with a list and she instructs Ash to move some picnic tables around. After Blayne comes out they set everything up as Arabella barks orders. I always forget how bossy she can be sometimes. I hear the door and it’s Kassy. I knew she would be the first to appear. Blayne comes over and greets her, then I drag her upstairs with me to help me get ready for the party. 

“I’ve missed you girl!” she says as she gives me a big hug. “I’ve missed you too! How are you doing?” I ask her, I get the feeling something isn’t quite right. “I’m doing okay, but there is something I need to talk to you about.” I sit on the bed and look at her, “what’s going on?” 

She looks a little nervous, “one of my ex’s is stalking me.” I knew something was right, and of course there is no peace around here but my best friend needs help and I will sure as hell kick anyone's ass that is trying to hurt her. “Who is it?” 

“His name is Dylan. He’s a warlock and has a fire affinity like I do. He keeps following me around wherever I leave my house, and when I’m home I feel like there is someone always watching me. I’m getting really creeped out and I don’t know what to do.” She tells me everything about their past. “This isn’t good. He is looking to take revenge on you. I will talk to Ash and we will do what we can to help you.”

We hear something shatter outside, she gets up and looks out the window. I see her go pale and stumble back, “he’s here, isn’t he?” I ask. She turns around and looks at me and nods, “yes and everything is on fire.” We run downstairs and outside. The smoke is so thick we can’t see each other or anything in front of us. We hear Dylan laugh evilly, as we try to find where everyone is.
