I waited for a little while, and a while, and another while, and started to get bored. Looking at my watch, it was 15 minutes, he's still not back. I sat down on the floor since I don't want to sit on the bench, the floor was cold and zig-zag with a blue-green tint, I've never noticed that tint I guess the walk is starting to get old. I looked from side to side it was quiet and not many people were around, maybe 20 or so people spread out in the length of 2 miles. It's lonely out here. When is he coming back?
sigh. I guess ill just text someone. who should I text, Emiley? Josh? or should I just call Ren and ask him if he left me with a bench that can walk, which I almost forgot about. Looking at it again up close it really is creepy, It looked exactly like a bench but with a slit on one of its planks with a tung sticking out, like Venom's tung, it doesn't have any other features. I'm just gonna scute away...
Ren came out of the store with coffee in hand. "Ren, your back and you didn't leave me to die!" I hugged Ren, thankful that he brought me a coffee and didn't leave for nothing.
" Shesh, you don't need to be that dramatic, the monster didn't even try to kill you." He handed me the coffee and sat next to me. "You know, it's been years since I've been here. That almost makes me forget that you can see a paranormal bench next to us." I knew he was joking around, but it was relaxing to know that other people can see what I can see even just for a second.
"So, is it gone yet?" I almost forgot that I wasn't touching him at the moment, so he couldn't see it. I shook my head. "How do make these things disappear again?" Rens has seen these things before, but I've never actually shown him how I get rid of these dream things.
I think for a second, "They just do it. I don't know how I get rid of them. " I told him the truth and what first popped up in my head. "Last time it left when I walked to where it was looking, that's all I know," sigh. I lean back and looked at the sunset. "Look at how beautiful that is, it's the colours just blend in together and the clouds contrast nicely with the sand." We stared at the sunset for a while.
"Hey, can I see the monster again?" This wasn't the weirdest request Ren asked. I turned to look at him and behind him, the benches tung faded. I guess it's tired of sitting there and waiting.
I chuckle, "Sorry, bro. It's already gone. Guess you're too late. Mabey you shouldn't have run off to just get a coffee~."
"What really...~." He sulks for a little bit and lays down on his back. "Next time, i'll definitely figure out what those things are."
Ren is a fan of monsters, so I can see why he's so interested, but I don't understand why he left so long if he wanted to see the bench up close. "Why did you get coffee anyways? It's kind of pointless..." I was too curious not to ask."
"I really don't know my body was just compelled to go in the shop and get us coffee." He gasped, "Maybe the monster was controlling me or something!"
"You seem too excited saying that." His theory isn't too out there to be false so I noted that down in my head.
